It's a splurge, but worth every penny!! Teacher, kids in home, the need for sleep... LWL makes time for grading and planning, sitting down to play a game and a full eight hours possible. Customer service is great, clothes are clean and folded... socks are paired and folded, it's like a real life dream sometimes! If you have kids, you understand the number of pieces of 5T and 6 clothing fits in a load. It's clean (stains out), folded and it only needs to be put away! Love love love it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Life Without Laundry!!!! About a month ago, I conducted a very quick google search in hopes of tracking down a pickup and drop-off laundry service, who would be able to help *immediately*. My dog Kora has cluster seizures, during each of which my poor girl urinates all over herself and any / all bedding she is laying on. Between the urine-soaked blankets / bedding (2 different cluster events... 4 seizures and then 3 seizures... lotssssss of bedding) and the towels used after each of her baths, I was overwhelmed to say the least. In addition to my OWN laundry, I was now Swimming in dog-laundry, was completely exhausted (seizures don't care if you have to work in the morning... they pop up at all hours), and almost started crying at the thought of hauling a bunch of trash bags down to the laundromat for hours upon hours of washing + drying + more drying + folding. I was Relieved to find LwL -- I signed up immediately, selected my pickup and drop-off preferences, and then prepped for my laundry to be retrieved. I had FIVE Giant black trash bags FULL of laundry (no judging...) picked up at my apartment in Arlington while I was out at work that Friday after signing up. I had selected a next-day drop-off, which not only happened, but my items were dropped back off to me, in the same spot at my apartment, clean - dry - folded - smelling Amazing - and in new bags. There was even a reusable laundry bag sent back with my items for use the next time around!! So far I Could Not be happier with this company.... Thrilled and so grateful to have found them!!

I was in Boston for a week and used Life Without Laundry. It was so easy, so efficient and I was so pleased with the service. I was staying in a hotel and after I set up my account, I left my laundry at the front desk. The driver who picked up my bags called me to say he was on his way and picked up my laundry. I received a text message the next day to say my laundry was on it's way back to the hotel. My laundry was not only clean but they also followed my directions to air dry some of my items. Clothes were shrinked! Even though I told them to be careful with the drying! Edit. Yeah, messaging 4 months later totally helps! Stay away from this service. Don't trust laundry people. Just do it yourself. It isn't worth the steep cost and risk of shrunken clothes.

If there's anything worse than doing your laundry weekly, it's doing three weeks of laundry that's piled up! I called and got the owner on the phone. He was super helpful and patient with me letting me ask all of my neurotic questions! I was surprised I could get my clothes delivered next day!! The clothes came back perfectly folded so I could easily put them back in my drawers. And my dry cleaning that had piled up came a few days later in the time slot I selected. The drivers are really nice. I got Kristie who was polite and very timely. I will definitely be using them again!!

Expensive, but worth it. We have used this service for almost two years now and the team is reliable and effective. Our clothes come back clean, nicely folded, and divided into bags by size so the adult and child clothes are easy to identify. When we have any concerns (and they have been few and far between) the owner responds immediately and stays on top of the issue until it is resolved. This is a great service.

The common area washing machine in our condo has been out of service for a few weeks now. After being forced to use a really dirty laundromat nearby, I decided to try Life Without Laundry instead. I actually LIKE to do laundry, but when I realized I was down to my emergency pairs of socks & underwear (we all have them), I knew I needed help. Working a full time job and having two part-time jobs, during a busy spell, meant I had no time to get to the laundry mat. After reading the reviews I decided to give Life Without Laundry a try! I was really happy with the results. I had two large bags picked on a Friday evening, and returned to me on the following Saturday afternoon, before I went to work. Everything was nice, clean, and folded great. My order didn’t have any special instructions, so I can’t comment on that. I’d definitely recommend it, if you’re in a pinch or just want to treat yourself.

This service is such a luxury! Boston has many laundromats, but who wants to use 2+ hours of their weekend time there if they absolutely don't have to! The drivers who pick up and drop off the clothes do so within the requested time slot and are friendly. What's the most important is our clothes come back clean and expertly folded. They provide laundry bags after the first pick up and you can add instructions in your online account detailing how you would like your clothes washed and dried. These added benefits leave us stress-free!

Being in Boston for a conference along with the whole family, we quickly found out that the hotel we were staying in didnt have a laundry room and there were no laundromats close to the hotel either. I found Lige without Laundry on the web and had trouble creating an account. The folks from Life without Laundry were quick to assist me by first fixing the account and even was able to schedule a special pickup for us. Our clothing came back super clean and fresh, even some of the baby's bibs that had some tough stains were incredibly clean. If I lived in Boston I would absolutely use these folks all the time.

Tried the service out for the first time a few weeks ago because I was having issues with my washing machine and my clothes had just gotten stolen at a laundromat. Wanted to try a different approach and I'm really glad I did. They drive to you house pick up your laundry and deliver it whenever you choose. I usually have them pick it up one day and deliver it the next. The windows I choose are 7pm-10pm windows which is convenient for me since I have a long commute from work. They always come on time. Highly recommend and already got my roommate using the service too!

I randomly found this place while searching for an alternative to a place I used to use in the South End. The biggest thing that attracted me was that you can schedule your pickup and delivery!!! And, you can get your stuff back within 24 hours. I've used them twice already and I like the service. The driver was kind enough to bring my laundry right upstairs to my door. Everything was nicely folded and smelled great. This is my new laundry service!

I was excited to find Life Without Laundry. The service seemed too good to be true and it was... you can provide specific instructions on how you would like to have your items washed. Mine were simple- items in bag 1 can go in the dryer and items in bag 2 are to be air dried. I received my laundry back and the items that were to be air dried were returned to me in the lingerie bags which I had sent it out in and they were still wet (they workers never took it out of the bags to dry after washing). This left me with a mess of wet and very wrinkled dresses, athletic clothes, jeans, and shirts. Life Without Laundry’s solution is to rewash my order (for free)- I am not sending my clothes back again (plus I would have to coordinate pick up and delivery) I think I will be a little less mad about having to do my own laundry!

Life Without Laundry is so reliable! You can go online and schedule a next day or any day pick up that is convenient for you. They have always been on time and they text to let you know they are near. If you are not home, you can leave laundry for them. The laundry is returned clean folded and with attention paid to any special instructions (ie no dryer sheets). Life Without Laundry is one luxury you should afford yourself! It’s totally worth it!

Alex was awesome to work with! My husband and I are currently traveling the east coast and we were very quickly running out of clean clothes. I got in touch with Alex and told him that we would be in Boston within 2 days and if they had availability to wash our clothes. I got an immediate email response, he helped walk me through the account process, and set us up so that we could leave our laundry with the concierge of our hotel (so they we wouldn't have to spend the little time that we had in Boston waiting for laundry to be picked up) between 8-10pm and it was delivered to the concierge the very next afternoon all washed, dried, and folded. I moved to Boston earlier this year, and my new place has small coin operated appliances in the basement for laundry, shared with people in three other apartments. Rather than lug my stuff up and down stairs, and babysit the loads for hours, I decided to check out the local options for wash/dry/fold service. During my search, I found Life Without Laundry. They have been awesome. I usually set it up for a Saturday pickup and Sunday drop-off. I can go out and about, and not have to worry about forgetting about my laundry until it's too late, and running out of clean clothes. I also don't have to go down the narrow stairs from the second floor to the basement. I just put the full bag outside my apartment door, and the next day they drop off my clothes, all ready to be put away. One less thing to keep track of, and well worth the cost (about $2/lb with a 15lb minimum as of the date of this review) to have the extra freedom.

It has almost been 2 years since I have been using LWL. I still use them because they are always on time, reliable, and have great customer service. If there is ever a problem, I get a phone call right away, and the issue has always been resolved in a timely manner. The quality of work is always on point and I have not had a bad experience. Regarding pricing, they are pretty reasonable for being right in the heart of Boston, I have no complaints and I will continue to use LWL as long as I'm in the city.

Our order was delivered almost a week later than expected and the delivery person was not friendly or helpful when it came to looking for a missing piece. It was a large order and she had folded it under her arm to deliver it to our door, so it was wrinkled when it arrived. The quality of the cleaning was fine and they didn’t cause excessive wear and tear from what I can tell, hence two stars. Will not use again.

I never leave reviews but I just had to applaud this company! I work long hours in the medical field and found my laundry just piling up. I used the service for the first time the other day and I can't say enough good things about it. Great turn around time, clothes are clean smelling but not "industrial", and everything was neatly folded. I will certainly be using this service in the future!!

I was initially just looking for a dry cleaner that offered delivery, but life without laundry is a total game changer. My dry cleaning was picked up and dropped off within a week. After the first service, a bag is provided for future pick-ups. I also decided to try the wash and fold service. I sent a bag full of laundry and got it back 2 days later. I'm pretty sure it typically comes the next day, which is amazing. My first time using the services there were a couple small mix ups because I didn't have the provided laundry bags yet, but Alex texted me to clear everything up and made sure things were taken care of quickly. I now have a red bag for my special care items and a blue bag for wash and fold. I will definitely use this service again and have already recommended LwL to a couple friends. The prices are totally reasonable, too. I think the cost is worth the time and energy saved.

I’ve used Life Without Laundry a few times now and it has worked out really well. The driver always texts me when they’re a few minutes away and they meet me right at my door. They’re also really responsive/helpful if I’m running late getting home to meet them. The turnaround time is quick, laundry is nicely folded, and it smells fresh. Life Without Laundry is fast, reliable, and friendly. I used their services during a this-is-taking-impossibly-long repair of my in-unit washer/dryer. LWL was undaunted by my pick up request in the middle of Back Bay on a Saturday, and in the blink of an eye by Monday night, I had my mountain of dirty laundry back in clean neat piles. Included in my order were 3 sopping wet towels (see above washer/dryer struggle) which resulted in an overage charge for the extra weight. I emailed the company to explain and Alex swiftly responded and remedied the overage charge without any unnecessary back and forth. His professionalism and world class customer service radiate throughout the company. Would highly recommend.

You can schedule a pick up tomorrow and have it back the day after that! My clothes are washed well and according to my instructions.
