Great experience dealing with Whalen Services, and technicians Rob and Jonathan. I was considering renting a machine and doing it myself. After seeing what I received from Chem-Dry by Whalen, for just a little more money than doing it myself, I’m glad I gave the job to professionals. They have a lot of knowledge and experience, they get the job done fast, they have the best equipment, and they are clean and neat.

Beware of this company. We paid a fortune to have rugs cleaned and asked for the area rugs to be relaid. We told the company we needed two guys because there was heavy furniture to move. They assured us no problem just an extra cost which we said was fine. When they got here one of the guys (Greg) refused to lay the biggest rug because it had a pad and was going under a bed that had two twin adjustable platforms (not that heavy). Edward was very helpful and appeared willing to do the work but Greg got very indignant almost the minute he walked in the room and saw the pad and said he was not doing it. He said he had to call the office and then told me they would not do the work because of liability. I told him we would would assume any liability but just to please help us. Greg refused saying he had to follow "company policy." They "kindly" waived the relaying fee (considering they did not do it!!) had me pay the bill and left us with a total mess. Needless to say we will never use them again and use whatever recourse we have to warn others.
