Good Morning All, I normally do not take the time to write reviews (I’m not sure why, but I don’t), but this morning I had to write a review about Molly Maid of Silver Spring!!!! First, I would like to thank Eric Simpkins and Simone for the HIGH level of professionalism and attention to detail that they displayed from the moment I made the call!!! And I was equally impressed upon arrival of their cleaning team, the team immediately asked me about the areas that needed to be cleaned and went straight to work. They were friendly, professional and very hard workers. Their cleaning services and expertise went over and beyond my wildest expectations!!! Note, this includes extras like cleaning the blinds, ceiling fans, and the baseboards. After the team left, I went around my house in sheer bliss as I noticed the attention to details that other services ignored. I don’t think I can’t tell enough people how pleased I am with Molly Maids, ALL MY GLASSES SHINE!!!!

Terrible rushed service. I do not recommend this company at all. We put up with them for nearly a year but should have pulled the plug on them much sooner than we did. They do such a rushed job and you do not get your money’s worth, buyer beware! They’re OK cleaning toilets (when they remember to do actually do all the bathrooms) but that’s about it. Dirt all over the floor and stairs after they clean. Dust everywhere. Can’t clean a sink to save their lives. Giving them 1 star here because they did come over after we complained but nothing improved. I think we can get a much better service for the same price if not better.

I worked with Molly Maid for about a year and a half to generally satisfactory results. That changed after the move out cleaning I scheduled immediately prior to closing on my condo. After the cleaning Marti called to tell me the crew couldn't close my oven door. I went to investigate and found that the door had been yanked off its hinges, and a repairman would be required to fix it. I called Molly Maids and Marti said to have the work done then notify them so we could work out a settlement. Being under contract, I took time off work to have the repairs done the next day. After the repairman finished the work and gave me a receipt I called Molly Maids again. Simone told me she was aware of the issue, and to email a picture of the reciept. I was told once they got the reciept I'd be contacted. However days went by without a call. When I followed up, Simone told me that they would not even consider paying for the damage until I paid for my last cleaning. This was after a year and a half of me making full payment on time for every clean. She even insinuated that I'd somehow set this up to get out of paying for my last service. Bottom line is don't work with Molly Maids. They're unethical, and if they damage your property will try to weasel out of it. It totally defeats the purpose of working with an insured/bonded service. Go with someone else. PS- if they respond to this they may claim some nonsense about a check not being left out for the final clean. This was because on past occasions the crew had forgotten to take the check. When that happened I worked with their staff and mailed in the check right away. Obviously I did not want a check left in the condo after close and had no reason to think mailing the check or paying over the phone would be a problem. If they say otherwise they're lying. The irony is, had this not happened, we would have continued working with them when we buy our next home.
