The website for the wash and fold service does not mention the 15 lb minimum anywhere. My bath mats only weighed 7 pounds. While i was willing to pay 2x per lb what we paid in NYC, I'm not willing to pay 2x the advertized rate because of an arbitrary rule that isnt listed on the website.

Did the pick up & delivery wash and fold service for the first time, and it was an excellent experience. The driver was extremely polite, the clothes were washed quickly, and everything looks awesome. They even matched up my socks--which I would never have expected. Will definitely use this service again!

I submitted an inquiry via Yelp to Columbia Pike and about 4 other wash and fold services because I not only do I have doing laundry, but with 2 full time jobs and an attempted social life I just don't have time. When I do have the time I want to sleep lol. Columbia Pike was one of the first to respond (on a snow day at that!). What made me choose them was the level of customer service displayed in comparison to the others. Scheduling - For delivery service, you can either call or schedule a service through the CleanCloud app which I found to be much faster and easier. Pick-up/Drop off - Jack is the main driver and he's awesome! He had NO idea what he was walking into when he came to pick up my clothes

My husband and I are thrilled to have found a place to launder our bathroom rugs, large blankets, comforters, etc. We live in a row home on Capitol Hill with a standard sized stackable washer and dryer. Every single time I try to wash a rug, large blanket, or a thick terry robe, the washer over flows and runs into our 2nd floor. Columbia Pike Laundry charges a per pound amount for bulk items, and it’s a game changer. I will never again put a rug in the washer and cross my fingers hoping it won’t leak. We just picked up our first order, and we are so pleased. I’d forgotten how white our bathroom rugs could be (yikes), and all of the blankets came back so soft and fresh. We are so glad be found Columbia Pike Laundry!! I’m hoping to drop off round two this week. Thank you!

Avoid at all costs. Forrest Laundromat is nearby and superior in every way. I loaded two dryers at Colombia Pike Laundromat and went across the street for some food. When I returned, my clothes were gone. Turns out, they had been removed from the dryers by the woman who runs the place and replaced with the laundry of someone else. This is beyond the pale. Can you imagine turning your back for a few minutes and having your machines commandeered by the staff? I got my stuff back and dried it at Forrest.

Dan is the MAN! He is extremely helpful! Easy self service. Get change, and help! Wonderful first time experience! Air conditioning exists here! And a salon for nails and hair is attached. Laundry and nails done while clothes are washing!

Columbia Pike laundry offers drop off service and will also pick up your clothes wash them for you and deliver them the staff is awesome and the prices are reasonable I highly recommend this place for people that are pressed for time but want to get their laundry done

Sketchy vibe in this place. I unloaded the washer, walked around to load the dryer, walked right back to the other washer to unload, and the unfriendly Hispanic woman had already removed my clothes! I never left the laundromat and she knew who i was she could have asked me. The washer leaves clothes soaking wet, and dryer doesnt dry well. I would not leave my clothes here.

I used the express wash and fold service. I dropped my 17.8 lbs of laundry off at 10:36 and picked it up by about 12:30. Everything that I took in also came back and neatly folded! Except 3 times, they were on hangers and plastic garment covers. The staff were super nice!! I have lived here for over 6 years and haven’t had this amazing of service anywhere else! That you all for taking such great care of me and my clothes!! So, would I ever use them again? Absolutely!

My mom uses and walker and we were staying at the nearby Sheraton for a week so we generated a lot of laundry with my kids and my dad... we came with our laundry but then my mom didn’t feel well... it was so comforting to know they would take care of our laundry so i could get my mom back to the hotel. we came back much later in the day with our laundry bagged and ready to go. Daniel runs a clean and efficient laundromat. The washing machines are all well maintained (I used to own a laundromat in Bournemouth) the driers are efficient and not expensive. Service washes are available but it’s more fun to DIY. We found Columbia Pike Laundromat on Google as we were on holiday in D.C. and it was a $10 ride away. By far the best laundromat we have found on our US travels.

Updated Review: I used the wash and fold here for several months, until I moved out of the area and it was no longer feasible. I got great service and nice, clean, neatly folded clothes back EVERY TIME and I really appreciate how efficient Columbia Pike Laundry was. Laundry is my least favorite chore, and the staff here are truly Laundry Elves. Very happy with the service here! I dropped off my laundry and I got a text to let me know that it was finished in just a few hours. Great value and the staff was super polite and helpful. I'll definitely be using this laundry again!

The laundromat is bright and clean with several machines to use. Free WiFi and restroom access. Machines work well and they have a quarter machine - no more scrambling to find quarters just to wash your clothes! Washing machines are a little pricey but the dryers are cheap. Owner is very nice and other staff is helpful.

I received my garments back and my white clothes were damaged. Very upsetting due to the fact that one particular item that was stained was an item I've only worn once and had just recently purchased. When calling back to the establishment to let them know my items were damaged, they suggested that they will just rewash it in bleach. Question is, if you seen the garments were marked up with brown markings (possibly from the machine) and you neatly folded it and gave it back to me, why not attempt to rewash it and try bleach it BEFORE returning it to me??? Or at least have the courtesy of making me aware of the damages when I picked up my laundry. I will never come to this place to do a Wash & Fold here again.
