I sustained water damage to my bathroom, & bedroom floors and garage ceiling and called Serve Pro upon making the discovery. They agreed to come to my house immediately to assess the situation and then came back promptly with all of their drying equipment which they set up to mitigate the damage. They came to my house every day for 5 days to assess the progress, locked up my home afterwards and called to report. The bill was submitted directly to my insurance carrier. I felt they were trustworthy to be in my home and was I very happy with their service.

When I discovered an inch of water in the basement courtesy of a broken toilet, I shut off the water then called ServPro. The national company connected us to Mike, who picked up the call on his way into work. Within 1.5 hours, we had a team on site extracting the water and starting the drying process. Jon and Mike even came on the weekend to double check the drying and reset some of the equipment. Their fast response helped minimize the damage and we can't thank them enough. Super professional, super helpful, super work. I would absolutely call them again (although I hope not to have another flood like that).

We had a serious fire on the top floor of our house in April, 2018 and a great deal of water was used by the firefighters as a result. A large Servpro team arrived within hours of being called and was able to stop the progression of water damage through the use of sensors, mitigation equipment, and careful demolition. Our home was built in 1880 and includes original millwork and built-ins. Due to Servpro's timely and efficient help the historic charm of our house was saved.

SERVEPRO'S crew of young professionals were in and out of my house for days. There were many trips up and down the stairs removing soggy walls and rugs. With their drop cloths and vacs and fans, I had no damage to carpets or walls. They left everything in top condition every day/ They were not at all intrusive. Mike called me every night, telling me what had been done and what would be done the next day. He also handled all contact with the insurance company. I recommend SERVPRO to everyone. I'm beyond impressed with the customer service I received from Mike at Servpro. He was quick to return my call, assess the situation, and provide knowledgeable feedback. Our tenant's washer hose became disconnected and she was unable to stop the washer from flooding the surrounding area including the condo below her. Mike offered to be there within an hour (in the evening mind you) to determine the proper protocol. He called me directly afterwards to explain the situation in full. Mike shared that we could handle the situation ourselves with minimal damage (thank goodness) and offered several solutions, so this doesn't happen in the future. I was very pleased with Servpro's response to a pipe break / water leak that occurred in a retail space at a large college campus. We called them on a Sunday and they arrived in force within an hour - greatly minimizing the damage and loss that would otherwise have occurred. My 82 year old bedridden mothers sewer backed up and flooded her basement. We called Servpro 800 number and explained our dire situation. Late in the day and we where trying to figure out how to relocate mom. We received a call from Jon at Servpro of Bangor/Ellsworth and he said they were coming now, like in route, on the way. I thought it would take days to coordinate this clean up effort. Nope they dropped everything and are mobilized and will be on site within the hour. In disbelief I watched two trucks a bunch of guys and ton of equipment and they were on it. They work tirelessly and before we new it mom had a livable house, we never had to relocate. I want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the SERVPRO professionals that came to our rescue when we had a water issue in our basement. In particular, John Symonds was the best!! His prompt response was very welcoming and his knowledge and professionalism was evident. We initially thought the water had entered the basement though a window, but John quickly dismissed this theory when we discovered a floor drain that had backed up. This was a great relief to us. When we discovered the damage after being away for two weeks, we were very proactive and did some damage control by pulling up saturated rugs and flooring. John had great praise for us for doing this and mentioned this would help in the cleanup of the mess. He had equipment in our home very quickly and had us drying out in a record amount of time. We learned to trust him because of his honesty with us and professional demeanor. We were scheduled to go on vacation and could not cancel. We felt confident enough with John to give him a key to the house so he could have access to do his job. We really like working with Service Pro. Everyone was so friendly from Amy to the Techs who came. That was a year ago to clean ductwork out. We recently discovered a hidden duct that was missed, (not just by them but 2 other duct cleaning comp.) when we took an old humidifier off the ductwork!! What a really gross find! About 60 years worth of 'mess'. When I called them and explained it to Mike the owner, he was so gracious and offered to send a crew out the NEXT DAY and he did and they did - no charge! We had our basement drains freeze up which led to an inch and a half of water in the basement. I called another local company and left a message on their emergency line. After waiting several hours and not hearing back we called SERVPRO and Jon called us right back. I explained the situation and he and his crew came right over. They did an AMAZING JOB!!! I called Servepro while I was waiting for a call back from the plumber as soon as I discovered my septic tank had backed up into my basement. They were awesome! They kept I close contact, came the hour and a half trip to my house as soon as the tank was (believed to be ) pumped. They were kind, professional, upbeat and friendly. They were considerate of my feelings about what was ruined and gave me time to go through the things when I was ready. They steam cleaned the floor and wiped down the hard items and packed smaller things into boxes. Everything that needed to go was carried outside to a staging area on a large tarp I had. They left 10 fans, a dehumidifier and some other big machine (a scrubber?) for a few days and came back to take care of things. They relocated heavy items for me and made me feel they were happy to help. All in all, I would highly recommend Servepro!

I got a call one morning while I was at work from a contractor who had stopped by to do a job. When he opened the basement door he found a completely flooded basement. The pipe to a hose had frozen and burst sometime during the winter. I had just recently started using the hose to water plants and my habit was to turn the faucet on and turn it off when I was finished. The evening before I had not turned off the hose so for around 20 hours water spewed across my finished family room. there are four other rooms in my basement and they were all flooded. I didn't have any idea how I was going to handle this so I called ServePro. Mike showed up within the hour, took one look at the situation, and declared, "we do this all the time, I've got this." His team arrived and they began the clean up. This was on a Thursday evening about 3pm and by 1:00 the next day the demolition was done and every item was removed, loaded onto a truck to be disposed of, and the dehumidifiers and fans in place. I was incredibility grateful for the service this team provided. I hope I never have another leak in my basement but if I did I would without hesitation call them again.

When your sewer backs up you leave the house. You call a capable plumber to clear the drain so the sewage drains out and then you better call ServPro to clean up the mess and make your home safe again. Why ServPro, especially ServPro of Bangor and Ellsworth Maine? Because the owner, Mike, over delivers and will do everything right to get you back to "happy". This was my second time with these guys as a water pipe broke while I was in Florida a few years ago and they did a great job getting our cellar cleaned up. Our business, Governor's Restaurant in Bangor, had a small fire about 6 pm. We were lucky that more damage wasn't done and was able to reopen the next day at 11. Had a hidden leak from dishwasher in my kitchen with a lot of damage, called Servpro and Mike was very quick to respond, very knowledgable and easy to work with, Mike and his team were very professional and were quick to start work and fix our problem, always available by phone and went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this local franchise. Removed wet and damaged insulation in a tight crawl space as well as using dehumidifiers to dry the area, Also used special mats to withdraw water from tiles, and removed all trash and left the area better than it looked before. Great service.
