I've used this place a few times and have always thought the service is amazing, but this past time blew me away. Our squadron had our holiday party and I got a few BBQ sauce stains on my suit because I eat like a 5 yo. I didn't bother to check the pockets at drop off and when I picked up the suit, the checkout girl said they found some stuff in there and put the items in an envelope. I opened it and there was about $30 worth of cash. I thank them for their honesty and I'll try to remember to check my pockets from now on.

The people that work there are really nice and helpful, but the people actually doing the dry cleaning...Not sure if they don't know what a crease on a pair of pants is or they just don't care. I don't want creases on my pants. There is even a tag on my pants when I pick them up that says "NO CREASE." At least 5 times in the past two months, every pair of pants has a crease. Each time they say it won't happen again. Finding a new dry cleaner.

They shouldn't charge the same for childs clothing as they do for adult size clothing.These were tiny little boys size 4 t-shirts and shorts, 2 adult tops and 1 pr.boys size 12 pants and t-shirts. Most were laundered and spot cleaned to get out small lipstick stains. It was $101.46! I was speechless. Guess I need to ask for an estimate if I ever go back.

We've lived in this area for.over a decade and.finally found this business about 6 years ago after several tries with other dry cleaners like Zips and such. By far they are the best. Clothes come clean, very friendly service and always on time. I also use them regularly for minor alterations such as hems. Wonderful family. Excellent business.

Damaged shirts while pressing, never called about my issue, when asked just said no one else complains. No refund, no apology wanted to argue about how they damaged shirts and told it would cost more to do them right. Only cleaner in town so why bother with customer service?

Absolutely ruined my pants!!! This store will NEVER get my business again. I brought in two pairs of jeans to get laundered. I go and pick up my jeans. And they are creased and heavily starched. Who wears a ctrase in jeans? Its not 1999..! My pants look like I washes them myself and let them hang dry. There are lines alll in my pants that will NEVER ome out. Amd the ledt leg has a souble crease qhich will never leave my jeans. This is the worst cleanees I have EVER experienced . If I could give them zero stars I would

They always say ready at 4 well some of us don't get off work until after they close or right before and don't have enough time to go all the way from base to come pick up our uniforms. I wish they had longer hours to accommodate.

I walked into this place and asked for a price list. Of course they don't supply one which is odd. Then I inquired how much they charged to wash and press a shirt. This is not dry cleaning, this is simply wash and press. I was told $3.25 per shirt. Well let me tell you folks that is a RIP off! I moved to the area from Denver. Now Denver is about 3 times the cost of living as Alamoghetto, however you can have your shirts pressed all day long for $2.25 per shirt . I did some research and it seems this is the only dry cleaner in town. The owners must be making a killing. Someone should really consider giving these guys some competition. Someone please open a dry cleaner in town with better prices and better hours including weekends. These owners have it far too easy! With competition comes better customer service !

Comet Cleaners is an alterations located in downtown Alamogordo. I took my service dress there for a quick dry cleaning including jacket, pants, and 2 long sleeves and it was around $20. Not only do I think the price is reasonable, they have a quick turnaround of one day if you drop it off before 9 in the morning, then you can pick it up in the afternoon. So far I've had good experience on my behalf and will continue to take my business to this establishment. I do wish they have an alterations in the same building, I really do think that would bring in more clients as a one-stop-shop for the town. Visited and have worked with many dry cleaning businesses and this one is definitely one of my favorites due to the quick turnaround and he's Anibal price. I know some people in the comments were practically want the service to be free but I can't speak on their behalf. Anyway, right now they have three pants for $10 and I don't think it's a bad idea considering many people don't know how to wash clothes in iron. Anyway, good business, will continue to support this establishment.

I am very disappointed with the customer service of Comet Cleaners. I brought an item on Friday morning to be dry cleaned and asked if it could be completed by the next day (Saturday evening) I was promised that the services would be done within 24 hours as I needed it for an event. The item was inspected and I left. When my husband went to pick it up he was told that it was at the Pinhook location and it was not even dry cleaned. I had to rush over to the Pinhook location to pick up my dirty garmet before they closed. I understand that mistakes happen but there was no communication that there was even a problem. I couldn’t wear my shirt for my event and they didn’t care that they didn’t follow through with their services that were promised. An apology would have been nice. I will never use this business again.
