This is a great laundry if you enjoy dealing with an owner who is rude and condescending. My daughter called earlier today to ask if they were open regular hours, and if so, when the last load had to be in. The woman said yes, regular hours and last load in by 10 p.m. We arrived at 9:30 & found the back door locked. We walked around front and entered only to have the "owner" say he was closing - he had a life too. He was standing in front of a sign that read "last load - 9:40 pm." I looked at my cell phone and the time was 9:36. He grudgingly told us to put our laundry in, so I put $15 on the required card, which already had a balance over $4. Apparently, the initial interaction wasn't sufficient for him and he traveled the length of the laundromat to launch into us again. I asked if he was accusing us of lying. My daughter explained in detail her earlier conversation, to which he replied, "she hasn't closed in a long time." Obviously, if we were provided incorrect information, that wasn't our fault. Regardless, we were there BEFORE the posted last load time.
We decided we didn't want to stay one minute longer than necessary and started to unload our three washers. We started all three precisely the same way, but the clothes in one were not even wet. He announced that "you had to push the buttons for the machine to work." We told him that we did and he said, "well, sometimes machines don't work."
I said that I had never seen such horrible customer service and that I would make sure everyone knew about his lack of professionalism.
