The group that took care of our water damage areas were friendly. I have a complaint, the accountant (Becca) was very rude to us. We were having issues with receiving mail through our new PO Box. I had only received the bill 2.5 weeks prior to receiving this phone call. When I was trying to explain to her what was happening she flat out said "I don't believe you one bit." And continued to be rude to me while on the phone. She was very snotty and frustrated me to the point of tears. She was very disrespectful. Only when I gave her my payment was she nice and then believed what had happened with our mail. I had to use Servpro due to my insurance company. My other complaint is when all was said and done, the water was cleaned up and the dryers where out, they had left a lot of the damaged walls and trim just lying around my master bedroom. They moved my washer and dryer around and never moved them back. They left trash here and there. They took the sections of my wall paneling that was still in good shape. SO NOT HAPPY. We asked if they knew anyone to help us rebuild the master bedroom, they gave us a card and told us that they were partnered with them and to give them a call. I tried calling 4 times and left a voicemail each time. No response. The only thing they had going for them was being friendly (all but the plumber, and the accountant) and fast.

In cleaning up a water flood in my basement over the course of 5 days, I learned that SERVPRO is not good at communicating with the owner BEFORE doing things. There were many incidents along the way where I would have liked to be warned ahead of time, such as fuses blowing and the administration of toxic chemical fragrances in my home. The local manager has consulted with me and apologized, seeing that he needs to improve the communication patterns of his staff. Their skills at dehydrating my basement were great, just poor communication and coordination. They did not leave things "like it never happened".

Not happy we were flooded with muddy water and there is still a film of dirt after servepro left. For the amount of money that was paid. This is unacceptable I don't care if the city is paying for it.

All I can say is "Wow!" Your team was amazing, and so great to work with. Kelsey was out to my house in less than 45 minutes after speaking to the corporate office and did everything she could to help guide me through dealing with my water issue. She offered great advice for navigating the process with my homeowners insurance and I believe she truly cared about my protecting my property. John from the team was also great. They were quick and diligent about checking on the drying progress daily until everything was thoroughly dried out. I would highly recommend Servpro Iowa City to anyone dealing with water damage in their home.

Joe was very friendly and easy to work with. Kept me posted on everything and also did a small favor for me with no hesitation. Found some foot prints on my furniture, broken glass in my kitchen and a half used box of Swiffer pads that was previously unopened which I wasn't thrilled about, but the work they all did was solid. Would still highly recommend.

My husband and I were beyond impressed with this company. When our basement flooded late on a Friday night, we both stayed up 13 hours straight working throughout the night trying to save our newly finished basement. When we called Servpro Saturday morning they were friendly and professional. A team arrived in the afternoon and it was so nice to see a friendly, helpful, happy face. They explained everything to us and took over working into the early evening. They were respectful of all our belongings asking if they could move things and let us know if they found more damaged things that my husband and I did not know about ourselves. A team stopped by everyday for the next 4 days and keep us updated. Every employee that came over was friendly, and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone. They took the stress out of an extremely stressful situation. Thank you Servpro my husband and I appreciate everything you did to save our basement.

On a Friday evening, we had a toilet on our main floor overflow from one of our kids using half a roll of toilet paper, and it leaked down into our basement. Servpro dispatched a team within an hour and had fans and dehumidifiers set up immediately to prevent further water damage. What most impressed me though was that since my husband (who usually does the toilet plunging etc.)was out of town, one of Servpro's guys took a look at the toilet and made sure it was functional again before leaving. That is service above and beyond! Thanks Servpro!
