We used Chem-Dry by Kevin Jones to clean the carpets in our new house in August of 2015. The previous owner had cats in the home, and after the carpets were clean all odors and stains were gone without a trace! There were some spots (from traffic patterns, paint stains, etc.) that they were unable to remove, which was understandable, but even these were significantly reduced. This year we had our carpets cleaned again, as we have a black lab who can't help but track mud inside the house :) The same technician, Joe, cleaned our carpets this time as well. He remembered the last time he had cleaned them and where the trouble spots were. He was able to finish everything in just over an hour, and the carpets look great! We really appreciate his hard work and the quality of work Chem-Dry by Kevin Jones brings to the table.

Not a great experience. The tech was nice and friendly but... My carpet is crunchy and feels like there is a left over residue on it (stickiness) and I don’t love the smell of whatever cleaner they use. It doesn’t have the fresh smell I’m used to. I will definitely be going back to the other company I’ve always used. Frustrated because I feel like I spent $230 and now I need to have it steam cleaned by my usual company which will cost me an additional $200.

Pretty good. The carpets/rugs look cleaner, the technician was professional and thorough. But there was much more "residue" around the edges than I've had before and it took a fair amount of work to clean up the dried residue and then mop around with vinegar water to clean up the dried liquid residue. Not sure I would use Chem Dry in the future.

We have 4 dogs, so there was a lot of dog hair (even though I vacuum almost everyday) and spots I just couldn't explain! It had been a long time since my carpeting had been cleaned. My plan had been to get new carpeting because mine was 17 years old and looked pretty bad but I couldn't afford it. So I thought I'd get it cleaned just to get us by for a little longer. I couldn't believe the difference ChemDry made! Stains came out that I didn't think would come out and the carpet was revived! Would NOT recommend!! In my opinion, only water and not any type of cleaning agent was used. Tech said carpet had a "wear" pattern ... funny how I was able to remove three areas of the "wear" pattern with a toothbrush and baking soda about 30 minutes after Chem-Dry left!! See pictures below. Also see the stain that Chem-Dry did not remove and I removed AFTER they left. Seriously disappointed. Will NOT be calling them again.

Chem-Dry did a great job on our couches. We were given the couches from family and there was a lot of dog hair and dander on them. They were not able to get all of the dog hair off, but Kent was able to tell us how to easily get the extra hair off once it dried. He was honest with me before he cleaned them and let me know that the hair was so much that there would still be some left. I have lots of allergies and after they cleaned them, I have been able to use our couches with no problems. It was the first time I used Chem-Dry and wasn't sure what to expect.

We had 3 bedroom carpets cleaned. We had planned to have a chair cleaned and an indoor/outdoor rug but decided the price was too much for the indoor outdoor rug ($80-120). We had a coupon for $40/room, so we thought an 8x10 washable rug shouldn't have been as much as 3 rooms. The technician came on time, but immediately tried to upsell us on the services. He thought the carpet cleaned well, but many spots returned when the carpet dried. Of course, he had offered spot cleaning for a big upcharge! As for the recliner chair , he was uncertain he could clean it and could not find a cleaning tag, so he spot treated a hidden spot and said the office would followup and I could tell them whether I wanted them to try to clean it or not. They never followed up. I was not impressed and will likely not use them again.

Thank you doesn't seem to be enough! I called the day before I needed to have my carpets cleaned knowing there was no way I was going to get an appointment. I was put on a standby list and got a call first thing the next morning. When Rob showed up, he was awesome! He explained everything that needed to be done, got to work, and was out within a couple hours despite the job being more than he thought coming in. He was able to get rid of some set in stains and pet spots from the previous owners that I never thought would come out. Our house looks great, and most importantly smells much better! We contracted Chem-Dry by Kevin to clean a 25-year old basement carpet. We had cleaned this carpet several times over the years using home carpet cleaning machines, but had never had it cleaned professionally. After the tech cleaned and sanitized this old carpet, it looked far better than it had in years. Pet urine stains were completely removed, and areas of high traffic were brightened. We should have had this work done a long time ago! We are very satisfied with the work that was done by this service company.

The carpet is old and was showing terrible dirt and wear in high traffic areas as well as spotting from where we had cleaned previous pet accidents. I didn’t have much hope that any cleaning would be able to fix the problems we had, but I wanted to at least try for some improvement. I honestly couldn’t believe how good the carpets looked when they finished. The spotting was gone, the high traffic areas looked as clean as the rest of the carpet, and overall it looked cleaner than it did when we first bought the house. I wish I had found and hired them sooner. I’m SO pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again in the future!

Carpets in most rooms look good. But a room with a tight weave looked good initially but the dirt I had hoped would be removed from a high traffic area has reappeared. I assume from this that the technique effectively removes surface soiling but does not deeply clean the carpet.

However, the person who did our cleanning seemed in a rush, not thorough and wasn’t able to remove the stain that I called in for which I was sad about. I called him out on this and he tried to say he did not understand what I was saying. When I reexplained what I was saying he just stared at me. I was not happy with him not honoring his word. I understood then why his first appointment of the day didn't get their service. Also a spot that I thought was gone my husband just now point out to me, that we can see it again. I could not be more pleased with the work that Chem-Dry by Kevin Jones did for us. We had a full upstairs with 4 bedrooms, stairs and our family and living rooms cleaned this week. They were easy to schedule with, I even had to call back and reschedule for a earlier date and they made it easy! They were prompt with a 30 minute heads up call and the work took about 3 hours. The results are amazing! Stains that I thought were going to be there forever are gone! And on top of the results, the gentleman who was here doing the work was courteous and respectful. They gave us a quote on the phone and once they got here they gave a more accurate estimate and it was $50 LOWER than the phone quote. Granted, that won't always happen, but it was a nice surprise. We just returned to Indianapolis full-time, and Rob did an excellent job removing a stain from a living room sofa cushion that I did not think would come out. I would never think of using anything but Their services.

I recently moved into a home and the previous owners neglected to have the carpets professionally cleaned. I was left to scrample around to find a carpet cleaner within a couple days notice of moving day. While Kevin was able to fit me in under short notice, I found the cleaning services to be mediocre at best. After cleaning, there were several areas that had spots and seemed to get darker over the days. Also, the rough estimate I was provided over the phone ended up being more than double. I had a carpet stretcher come in the next day to stretch out a couple of the rooms, and offered to clean my carpets for a quarter of the price! While I realize that not all of the stains will come out of carpet, I was very disappointed with the quality of service provided the premium amount I paid to have them cleaned.
