Live 2 Hustle

Do not do business with this place, the employee and manager here have no respect for its customers and are closed-minded. I was going to a business two doors away from them and one minute later the young girl employee puts a warning sticker on my car illegally threatening to tow it because I was parking in front of their business. They don't have a sign in front that says you cannot park in front unless you are a customer of that place. Signs in the parking lot said that the entire parking lot is for customers only and I was a customer of a business in that lot. Despite the manager apologizing to me they had still forced me to move my car even though other spots were filled up. I had asked them that they needed a sign in front of the business to enforce that and they didn't want to listen to me. WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL. They said they check who is parking very frequently over fears that nearby students park here to walk to school. I can understand that, but that doesn't give them the right to threaten to tow my car in one minute given that I was a customer in the area and I did not violate any signs posted technically. The people at this business seem to care too much about parking spaces more than their customers. These people are breaking the law, in a way they are stealing. You're 100X likely to have your car stolen by these folks illegal towing practices than you are from burglar, or even the worst street thug in the Southside of Chicago, Detroit, L.A. or St Louis. Although, I don't condone or promote any criminal activity. But it just shows you how good people can always turn bad. I have lived in Boston and the New York/New Jersey metro where parking is so complicated it would make these people look stupid for confronting me over parking here. That's probably why they live here and not there, that's why I'm not afraid to stand up against their foul behavior for you prospective customers and am telling you to take your business somewhere where the people your paying to stay in business won't turn their back against you.

A bit pricey for the quality. While a dress and a coat came back clean and smelling nice, a hat came back with the wool very mussed, and a sweater with a stain still on it. I think they have difficulty with knitted materials, so I would not recommend for hats/sweaters/scarves.

I turned in two very expensive three piece suits. I also had a few silk ties. I left four long sleeve shirts with ring-around-the-collar that my cleaner in Nashville, TN couldn't seem to even fade. My suits (all pieces) came back like-new. I am so impressed. The ties are like-new too. The long sleeve shirts rings are all but gone and they are pressed crisp and tight. The price is amazing for the wonderful service I received at D&L. I have to say this is the very best cleaners I have ever left clothes with. I trust this company with anything I might need cleaned and pressed. Both women that I spoke with were courteous, friendly, and attentive to my needs.

The best cleaners I've ever used.

They do great work with dry-cleaning and repairs. The zipper on my coat is good as new and my husband's suit looked brand new! Helpful, prompt, and kind.

Extremely disappointed... I got there to dry clean a coat for a friend as a favor. It had a bit of a smokie smell to it. Got there and they were kind enough and gave me an estimate at $10. I left and came back three days later and no one was there to attend me. When I tapped the bell a very disgruntled woman came and asked what I wanted. Said I was there to pick up a coat and gave her my name. She then charged me $19.25. Didn't offer a receipt and left before I could ask for one. I had an appointment and left. And later come to find my friend complaining it still smelled like smoke. I'm disappointed. I understand people have bad days and maybe the smoke smell won't come out in one wash. But dang... Customer service please....

They had great service and were able to help me get my slacks back a day later for a great price too.

Let me start out by staying that I’ve been getting my clothes dry cleaned for a while now and this place is way over priced. Back home I could get a shirt dry cleaned for $1. Here they charge $2.90 and barely do anything to the shirts. I still had wrinkles in my shirts. The lady that took my shirts was very rude in the tone of her voice. For what you get it’s not worth it. You might as well save your money.

I arrived at 8:05 in the morning and sat there waiting for fifteen minutes. They were still locked up. No one was there. They were supposed to open at 7:30. Not the best experience. I ended up going to the other dry cleaners in town.

I had two pairs of pants that needed hemmed. The first pair had been hemmed once already, but the hem had fallen out. The second pair was brand new and were delivered unhemmed. Also, the first pair was Wool, and the second pair was a very inexpensive Rayon-Polyester that simulates wool. I dropped both pairs off on a Thursday afternoon. I tried on the newer pair so they could set the hem. I was there about ten minutes tops. They told me it would take until next Thursday. Straightforward enough. First, the good: My pants look great. They are hemmed properly, and the new pair has a nice break right above the shoe. The pants were also cleaned and pressed. The older pair looked like they were brand new again. Both pairs, despite being different materials, were cleaned perfectly. Easily five-star work. Now, the OK stuff. This place sends everything to Idaho Falls to be cleaned. This makes tons of sense, since they probably don't do enough business in Rexburg to justify having equipment here. While this shipping adds time to the job, it's nice to avoid a drive to Idaho Falls. It does mean that when I arrived on Thursday around 1:30, they didn't yet have my clothing in. But when I came Friday afternoon, it was there as promised. A minor quibble, nothing to worry about, but it's good to know. Not a problem for me. Last, the not so good. These are the things that keep this place from getting five stars. First, is pricing. The prices themselves are fair, given the transport to Idaho Falls, the quality of work, and the variety of work done. It cost me $24 dollars total, which is less than you'd pay going to most private tailors in Rexburg. That's only $12 a pair. They quoted me something around $6-$7 a pair. That price was just to hem the pants. So, when I went to pick them up, I was expecting a charge of around $12-$15 bucks, not $24 dollars. To be fair, they did clean and press them, which certainly added costs. It wasn't a service I asked for, but I appreciated it, and it was probably needed to get the pleats right when the pants were hemmed. The kicker is, had they quoted me $24 dollars at the beginning, I'd have happily agreed to the amount. They could have easily upsold me on the cleaning, or even explained that I needed to have them cleaned to get the result I wanted. They could have probably even convinced me to bring the jackets too, since it's best to clean suits together. (I wish I'd brought them; it would have been well worth it.) Ultimately, customers don't like it if you don't tell them the price. If your service is good, don't be shy about asking for money. Honestly, if you are going to be wrong, over quote instead of under quoting. Shyness when asking for payment makes people think you are being dishonest. You're offering a good service, just tell people the truth about the cost. You'll get better reviews if you're upfront about it. I read the reviews before I went here, so when they told me the price (shyly), I knew it wouldn’t be accurate. But I obviously couldn’t post advice until I’d been here firsthand.

I took a homemade quilt from my grandmother for my mission years ago taken to get dry cleaned for a chocolate stain. They charged 15.50 which for a dry clean sounds right. I come back a week later and all they did was throw in the wash which i could’ve done at home, ruined the color and material and charged 15$ for something i could’ve done at home. Why would i bring a quilt to be thrown in the wash...not pleased.

I took several items in to be dry cleaned. One of the suit coats came back with weird white patches on it (almost like it was pressed too hot). The spots were over any seams, pockets or button on the inside of the coat. I took it back in, and the clerk said it didn't look right. They are going to repress it and see what that does. I hope it fixes it, if not it is ruined. I live 6 hours away from Rexburg and it won't be ready before I head home. I will update my review once I get it back. **** Update**** I finally have the suit. They did a good job at fixing the shine marks on it. I am still only giving a 4 star review for the inconvenience it caused. After emailing the owner, they offered to ship the suit to me, but it had already been picked up by family members and arrangements made to get it to us. It just took a few months for us to get it, that is why I didn't update my review earlier. I am glad they were able to fix it.

Did a great job hemming my pants. Strongly recommend and they had a fair price.

Mistakes are normally fixed for free and services are fast—not at this place. I called and said I wanted some pants altered. They asked me if I needed them measured and I said no because I measured them with my shoes and folded the pant leg to the length I wanted it. When I get there, I tell them the same thing but I also say I am a size 30 so it should be a size 30 where I folded it. Now, I am not an expert and this is not my Job; however, even though I folded the legs to where I wanted, they sized it to a 30 length which ended up being 3 inches too long. If this is your job might as well inform people that sizes in different pant brands and depending where they’re from mean different things. So a size 30 in one brand might be different in another. Either way, they should have seen a 3 inch difference to where I folded it. It took them 1 FULL WEEK to get the FIRST alterations done. On top of that, they charged me $6 extra ($12 is the normal price to get pants hemmed) so I paid $18 to get them to the right length because I guess they had to charge me something and not fix a mistake for free. Now I’ve read other reviews and it seems it is not a first time they messed up orders or charge people more than anticipated. Update I changed my evaluation from 2 stars to 1 star after realizing their management isn’t the greatest. They also “review videos” and sometimes can’t find the video (I read a review like that) and when it is possibly convenient they say they found it. 1) Management should start recording phone calls too and not just camera recordings. (Look at your camera and notice both pant sleeves were folded to the length I wanted and I told them 6 mins before over the phone). 2) Many companies have satisfaction guaranteed policies or money back or other ways to make up for it. I have even had haircuts where there are signs saying if I don’t like it I don’t have to pay for it. I haven’t used that option but it’s nice to know it is there. 3) Again, inform your customers about sizes, this is your job and you know way more about clothes than they. If you are giving out hot chocolate then tell them they could get burned; similarly, let people know different companies have different sizes so they are not the same size across all brands. 4) You mentioned you get hundreds of orders and so that’s why it takes 7 days to get your alterations back. So Is that why when I went back to get my pants fixed the second time they were ready after 1 day even though they told me 7 days again? Not to forget that I called them 3 hours before the store closed to find out if my alterations were ready and they sounded hesitant because there weren’t enough people there folding them and putting them in a bag.

Lousy service and prices.

My husbands jacket was cleaned very quickly. I brought it in one morning and it was ready the next afternoon. Its also a great price. Will definitely be going back for his other suits and ties

Great service and fast turn around. My suit was pressed beautifully and feels almost brand new.

I went and got my wedding dress dry cleaned. It came back really quickly, which was awesome (about 3 days). The problem I had with them was that there was a giant rip in the dress. I definitely do not recommend going there for wedding gown cleaning. I had a friend fix it for me and she measured the rip to have been 8 and a half inches long along the zipper in the back. I don't know how it wasn't noticed before they gave it back to me. We examined the rest of the dress for rips and it was fine, but there was a lot of fray that needed to be fixed that wasn't there before. Also, it was there to be cleaned and the bottom of the dress was still noticably dirty. I mean, no one will see it because it's the under layer, but I think it should have been cleaned considering I payed $100 for it. It wasn't completely cleaned and came back torn. I called to let dry cleaners know and they offered to check and see if it was their doing and then they would fix it. I didn't go to them because I was worried for them to do anything more with the dress. Bottom line, I recommend going elsewhere.
