I am very frustrated. Not only are they way more expensive, they don't do a good job. I dropped off a bunch of suits and they did an awful job. Each suit was super wrinkled with huge creases and ended up being unwearable until we had them dry cleaned at another place

This place cost $20.00 for two tops. I had zero stains or drips in my shirts. They gave me a price sheet. Stating shirts and blouses are $3.51. Starting price. I go to pay and it was $20.00 for two blouses. Are you freaking kidding me. I will never bring clothes here again!!!

Buyer beware! Wost experience. If you are looking for somewhere to do alterations on a bridesmaid, wedding, or prom dress DO NOT bring your business here. Communication lines are defective. They are not open or forward about their prices. I was never offered a quote. When dropping off my alteration I asked about pricing and was told they bill hourly and she could not be sure how long my dress would take. Understandable perhaps?? How do you actually know how long they took? A clearly uninformed estimate by the lady at the front desk told me: $65. Actual price at time of pick-up : $100+. More than the actual dress cost. $100 may be reasonable on an expensive, intricate bridal dress alteration, but I could have bought a new dress for $99. Look on their website....they don't offer alteration prices. Through emails with Gary he said it is not their policy to offer estimates. How does a business get away with this? Generally in entering a business, you often can see prices of services and products before engaging in the service or buying the product. It is a shameful business practice. After alterations my dress still did not fit. They offered a $30 store credit towards my next service there due to my frustration. Due to my frustration!! Not due to anything they did wrong. Their inabiltiy to be honest, forward and direct with one of their most important assets: their customer base was not considered. I will never use this $30 credit because I refuse to do business there again. Through emails with their website feedback, it was a giant blame game of all the things I did not do as a customer. Their actual receipts show minimal information about what work/service was actually perfomed. For somewhere stating they charge based on an hourly rate one may think they would print the amount of time it took to alter the dress? Nope. I did not appreciate doing business here and hope this review saves someone else from having an awful experience too.

I dropped off my wedding dress(over a thousand dollars dress) . Gal told me she would clean the dirt off of it and have it preserved and shipped to me. I got the dress and its not clean or preserved. I spent $350.00 and they would not give my money back. I took my dress to a few other cleaners and they said the dress was never cleaned! I disputed it with my bank, Idaho credit, and lost the dispute cause, my bank didn't do all that they could do. So, know I'm sending this dispute to the Office Bureau. So, unless you don't mind in wasting money on this company, don't go to them!

Watch out leaving a bad review, you might get looked up on video surveillance! Just look at the owner's response to criticism on the reviews. Also in one response he's the owner, and the next he's the president.

I was pretty happy they got a set in stain out of my dress that another cleaners wasn't able to get out. I was shocked by the price at time of pickup though. Maybe give a quote to your customer at time of drop off? That might help with the customer not feeling fooled into expecting typical prices, since it's not just a little bit more, it is over twice as much. Obviously, I should of asked. I am still glad I went. They are for sure a level above a typical cleaners. I have been back and I'm sure I will be again. Unfortunately, it can only be for special occasions or stain removals for me. I have to take our regular stuff elsewhere. I wish I could afford it because it clearly is superior. Side note: Last time I went in, (Friday, April 20th, 5:45PM-ish), I don't know what was going on but I sensed some weird tension with one of the employees with the manager. It was uncomfortable and made the service lack.

My experience involved an order getting messed up, due to a new employee. These things happen almost anywhere, and it's not so much that mistakes happen; it's what a company does to fix them. Clothesline Cleaners fixed their mistake in alterations within three hours, offered to deliver the clothing to my door, and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. The alterations were made with consideration for the style of the garment, which is also unexpected and very much appreciated. They have my business in the future.

Got a call for an interview and needed a shirt ironed. Just moved back to the area and don't have an iron. Ran to the nearest cleaner. Told them I had an interview in 30 min and asked for a quick iron. They told me they couldn't have it done until 4pm. I know people are busy, but this cost me a job. Our world has lost touch with empathy! Update: I appreciate your response, but I clearly said the clothes were clean and I just needed my shirt to be ironed to remove the wrinkles. It should have taken a few minutes. And no, I was unable to attend the interview.

Seems to be kinda shady when they cant give you a total until pickup, and when you ask for one they give a piece of paper to write it down and calculate for yourself. Poor customer service.

Clothesline Cleaners is an amazing business! They do a large scale clothing drive each year (over 700 items raised this year) for the men living at the Boise Rescue Mission Ministries Boise and Nampa shelters. The men are fully equipped for job search when they put on the freshly dry cleaned amazing suits, thank you Clothesline Cleaners!

Service is slow, and the employees not friendly at all. That might be passable if they did great cleaning, but they don't. My biggest gripe is that they are not up front on their pricing. You shouldn't go here unless you're perfectly happy paying more money than you're told at the time of pickup. This is rotten and wrong but they don't care. You can't even expect to be able to get the same price on an item twice. Just keep driving past this one. Otherwise you'll regret it later. Edit after Gary's response - If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Clearly you can see a patronizing response from the the owner, who doesn't know how to take constructive criticism or improve from it. Here's the reality - they claim to have a price list, but when it comes time to pick up your clothes, suddenly they want more. It doesn't matter what level of service is or isn't there, when the practice of charging a different amount than what is posted is the reality. My review is the lowest possible level, with advice to not use this place. I would hate to see anyone taken for a pricing scheme ride like I was.

Don't waste your money getting something dry cleaned before sending it to seamstress. Seamstress is not capable of cutting a pattern to replace a torn piece of clothing. I knew I should have taken it to my 91 year old mother. She could do it.

Had a couple military blues shirts cleaned and pressed. Shirts were new so cleaning wasn't an issue, but they did a horrible job with pressing.
