I used to think this was an ok place to work. I was a dedicated, outstanding employee for 18 months. Never called in sick to work, always going above and beyond what my job duties were. The management there is poor. Burnt out management that have been there for decades. They have poor communication skills, no tact ,poor benefits for those who work F/T, and no HR guidelines. They pay men more money than women doing the same job. Quite frankly, they make up policies by the wim when it benefits them. They run out of supplies monthly and put it on the employee to buy them and then refuse to reimburse after they take your receipt. They care only about their bottom number and treat their employees like GARBAGE.

Great place to work reasonable with day/night shifts and very good on the job training. Employees are friendly and wage is very competitive comparatively speaking. Can't ask for much better than that!

Twice in 3 yrs. we needed disaster cleanup help from American Cleaning Service for water damage & mold from an undiscovered water leak & 1 yr. later, right before Christmas for a flooded water heater! They are the best. Write down their 24 hr. number and keep it for emergencies! We cannot say enough positive things about Dean, Jeremy, Chet, Alex, Nate, & Eric. Within 2 hrs. their team was at our house each time, assessing the damage & taking immediate steps to address our disaster & safety issues. They are knowledgeable, they are skilled, they do what they promise, and we counted on them every step of the way from mitigation & remediation through the end of reconstruction. I have heard horror stories from others about their home disasters & poor quality, costs & disappointing final results from other cleanup companies. We will never call anyone except American Cleaning Service. We trusted them, and they earned every bit of our trust.

American Cleaning has been cleaning our downtown office for several years. With all services costs are expected to go up, but unexpectedly the quality of work and service has taken a sharp decline. The inability of cleaning staff to make common sense decisions as to what is and is not for disposal has cost me time, money, and undue frustration. I have to label trash that needs to be thrown out, but personal items and office supplies go missing without explanation or apology. I cannot trust American Cleaning to be in our office or risk the integrity and security of our business and employees.

I am that terrible person that often waits until we are completely out of something order (I am working on being better, I promise). Would not recommend. Constantly late and can’t seem to figure out how to get the projections right. We were told a project would take 5 days, it took 5 weeks. When asked about why the project took so long they claimed the house was inaccessible, meaning we weren’t available when they showed up, which is untrue. Extremely unprofessional to be constantly late and to put the blame on someone else. Pathetic.

Dean, Chet Alex and the entire crew are fantastic! We had a flooding basement sewage situation and needed help! They were quick to respond and took action right away to help us minimize the damage. They were very knowledgeable and straightforward with us. I appreciated how they took extra care with our belongings, especially keeping nearby toys and kid's things sanitary and protected from the remediation and re-construction areas.

They are professional, timely, personable and reasonably priced. This is no temporary company that comes and goes. American Cleaning has been a favorite in Boise since Eli's Grandfather started the business decades ago.
