I work at gate Gourmet and I put my uniforms in to be cleaned and I haven't gotten them back yet and this was last year. I ask two delivery men about it and they both got my information and I'm still waiting. So the saga continues.

Doing business with Unifirst has been rough to say the least from the very beginning. Our first delivery was 3 times more than what we requested; we received items we never requested, approved, or had ever even discussed with the sales rep we dealt with. It took months to get straightened out. Quality control seemed to be non-existent as we ended up having to opt out of basic items like lobby rugs because they were being delivered crumpled, faded, patchy, dirty, and the edges curled up; causing safety issues with our customers tripping over them coming in and out of the doorway. We eventually got everything straightened out and were pleased with our weekly driver. Fast forward 2.5 years; we've cycled through 4 or 5 route drivers and had to train each of them how to do things like keep our soap and towels in stock rather than waiting until our stock is 0 and making us wait another week for the re-stock delivery. We finally got a new driver that stuck with the company for more than a couple months, and one day we were handed a bill that was almost $20 more per WEEK than the previous year's bills. Quantities of items were changed although we didn't receive those quantities or request them, each line items were up-charged, and our yearly increase we are subject to was a whopping 8% inflation. We called up to corporate and were able to leave complaint messages. We were told our account manager had 24 hours to get back with us. We would wait for the 24 hour period and wouldn't hear back. So we call back only to have to leave another message and have the 24 hour period start over again. After speaking with several other uniform companies in the business and hearing the same negative feedback about the stunts that UniFirst tends to pull with their contractual customers, we began the process to end our contract by THEIR guidelines. We sent a letter in the mail per their guidelines to officially file for contract cancellation and BOOM we get a call from our account manager. He's very apologetic and promises the world in order to make things right and that he would correct everything. Weeks went by, emails were sent, and messages were left with zero response. We resorted to not paying our bill. If you want to hear from management or get their attention; don't pay your bill! Works like a charm. We received another phone call and even got a real-life rep visit. He spoke with our owner/operator and , again, promised to make things right. Our owner decided to throw him a bone and opt into some new floor mats for our lobby. Since then, some issues were corrected, some remain. Of course its things like UP-CHARGES that were supposed to be corrected and voided. And because we refuse to pay the overage charges and hope we are credited later (yeah right), we are now receiving extra finance charges. Today, we are resorting to writing this review because we were charged for the floor mats we did not receive. We wrote the letter. We gave them their 90 days to correct these seemingly minute issues that just seem to be too much to handle. Can we get out of our contract now, Unifirst? We have given them every chance to make this right. Why is it so difficult? Is a zero star review an option? Totally dissatisfied-do NOT recommend.

Like the guy said in the post they will say anything to get you to sign a contract then they stick it to ya I haven't had one order correct since my first delivery I brought it to there attention and it was like I did something wrong and I was reminded of my contract 5 times they basically said they had me for 20 more months . These guys suck if you do get fooled into a contract PLEASE read the back of it in small print they own you regardless if they deliver or not BEWARE they are con artists I wish I would have read the posts before we signed there are people with the same problem I have ,I'm cutting these jerks down to the bare minimum because of my contract I have no choice ,do not use this company you will regret it ,good luck cintas is much better and they don't leave off half of your order every week and they care about your business. I wish someone would report there extortionests to the better business bureau

Nothing they will lie and say anytime to get you to sign and then they will stick it to you. Then if you try to cancel they will try and sue you. Do mot use thos company they are a complete ripoff.
