I have been using their services for the last few months and found them at least acceptable and usually very good. So I would recommend them. I think the cleaning staff varies which may explain the variance in quality but it has never been bad.

Do. Not. Hire. Molly Maid. Our experience with them was awful from start to finish. First off, we told them we needed 8 rooms to be cleaned. They informed us the estimate would only be about 3 hours. Once they arrived we decided they only needed to clean 6 rooms. After 3.5 hours we asked if they were almost done and requested they finish up (as we were hoping to keep costs within our estimate). They informed us they were just finishing up.... but they worked for another two hours despite us telling them nothing more needed to be done. This extra time while they were “finishing up” cost us over $160. Once they were done we realized not only had they stolen cleaning products we had around the house but the upstairs toilet was completely clogged. The plumbing system is so clogged it will require a plumber to properly fix. However, they refuse to admit liability. If they decide to own up to their mistakes I will amend this review- but until then I stand by my statements: Molly Maids is both unprofessional and inefficient. As of now between the extra hours and the plumber this cleaning has cost us much more than we ever looked to spend.

HORRIBLE! Came home after 2 women had been there and wondered if they'd been watching TV while I was gone. We're talking about 2 people working at $80 an hour - the place felt dingy and I so spent the next day cleaning from top to bottom. The manager called and apologized. Then they charged my credit card $160 for their service. So horrible it was actually bazaar. RUN DON'T WALK..

I really like my team, Santa and Nancy, who come to my home every other week. They do a great job and are very friendly. I have a few things that I like done a certain way and after telling them the first week, they have always done these things perfectly. The office staff is, also, quite pleasant. Lastly, they make things very convenient for me. I don’t have to be home when they come and since they have my credit card on file, all I need to know is that when I come home, after they’ve been here, I have a sparkling clean house. I would highly recommend them.

They did a subpar job. What was most disappointing about the service was a charge of “minimum 2 hours,” we paid that minimum but they left after an 1 hr and 20 min. I wasn’t able to check the time at the moment they were scurrying away because I had 2 babies needing my attention at the same time. I fully trusted that they would be finish at the promised time of 2 hours (Shame on me). -I could’ve really used that extra time for work since I’m a busy mother with twins!!! That is why we chose them for cleaning services. So who ever decides to hire them, be mindful of the time- announce the start time for all that matter! be specific as to what you want done because apparently they didn’t understand the concept of “deep clean,” I had to look around & delegate what was needed to be done as if they’ve never done deep cleaning before.

Team 4 arrived at my house well within the promised window. After a tour to explain what I wanted they got right to work. I felt comfortable leaving them while I ran some errands. The team walked me through the house to explain everything they had done. Well done!

I hired this compnay to do a one time cleaning at a property that I own and rent out in Wilmington Delaware. It was a 1,200 suare foot, one bath three bedroom townhome that was basically empty. I was told over the phone that it would cost about $175-$215 to clean this property. I thought the price seemed a bit high, but agreed to it anyway, because I didn't have the energy to do it myself. They told me that they needed my credit card to hold the reservation. I was apprehensive about doing that, but was assured that my card would not be charged unless I cancelled without proper notice. (and there would be a small cancellation fee) Anyway, the girls came and cleaned the property. They did not have to clean the oven or microwave because we threw it out to trash just before they came. Two girls were there for about 3 hours. I specically told them NOT to clean the refrigerator because I had paid one of my employees to clean it the night before. I also told them not to clean two of the upper kitchen cabinets becasue they were filled with nice glasses left by the tenant and those two cabinets weren't dirty anyway. Apparently they did not understand enough English to understand what I said because they spent time cleaning both after I asked them not to. They also left 4 dead mice back where the oven had been removed with no explanantion as to why. When they finished, they submitted a bill to me for $268! I told these girls that the estimate I was given was $175-$215, and that I was NOT authorizing anyone to charge my card that amount. I even wrote that on a piece of paper for them to take back to their boss and signed my name. When I got home from Wilmington that evening, there was a charge on my card for $268! This absolutely infuriated me because I did not authorize them to charge that card and was told it would only be used to "hold the reservation". I have tried speaking with Madeline claims to be office manager and part owner. She only argues with me and won't budge or do anything to rectify the situation. Anyway, the charge has been disputed through my bank. Please understand that I am NOT trying to "duck out" on paying this company fairly for the sevices rendered. However, I will pay them with whatever method I choose, not with them using my credit card arbitratily without my permission. Think about this: These girls probably make about $10-$15 per hour at most. Two girls for 3 hours, plus cleaning supplies could have cost them $100.00 to pay out at most. They are most likely making a profit of $168 on this job and refuse to give me a dime of a discount, even after charging my credit card WITHOUT my permission. DO NOT EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION unless you want to be ripped off! By the way, I have cancelled the card because I don't know what else they may do with my credit card information.

They go above and beyond to make sure the entire home is neat and clean. I do recommend them often as everyone always says the house is wonderful and clean. House wasnt clean. I had them clean my new home which I closed on the day before. The house was empty and I was unable to be there because I was running errands. My house was not fully cleaned...tub wasnt fully clean. Microwave was not touched at all (previous owners left it dirty). Inside drawers and cabinets were not cleaned. In addition, my sister drove by during the time they were supposed to be cleaning, and found that the maids were coming back with Walmart bags...they went shopping! I called and complained within the 24 hour period...no one answered so I left a voicemail. No one called me back. I had to re-clean my new home myself. The only call I received was from one of the maids requesting my credit card details (which was fishy). This was prior to me coming home to see my unclean home. I told her I gave my details to the company during my setup call. She didn't push further. I will never use this company again! This review was specific to molly maids who service Bear, DE

We have had Molly Maid for about six months. We have gone through two different teams. With each team they only half dusted so we asked them to stop dusting so they could pay more attention to the cleaning of the rest of the house. Still only half a job of cleaning was done. We were paying for 2 hours of service and the last four times we noted the time they arrived and the time they left. At best it was an hour and the toilet in the powder room had not been touched. They kept asking every week if everything was ok. If they did their job right they wouldn't need to ask. I have called and left a message to stop service and requested a confirmation call back. If they live up to standards I will never hear back from them. JUST STAY AWAY!

We had Team 2: Cathy & Stacy for Molly Maid's move-out cleaning service and they were spectacular! They got our fridge, oven, class shower, and baseboards (all of which were probably the dirtiest things in the house) spotless! I even asked for their secret for getting the soap scum off the class shower stall. Truly amazing. If we ever need a cleaning service in the future, I will definitely be using Molly Maid (and requesting Cathy & Stacy).

I highly recommend Molly Maid. My house was cleaner than it has ever been after just their first cleaning. The shower doors were so clean, they looked like they weren't even there. My wood surfaces glowed. It was wonderful to come home to a perfect house.
