This was my first time doing laundry in a laundromat in over 10 years (our washer broke) and it was a great experience! As a newly minted twin mom the last hassle I needed was to schlep out to do the family laundry. Patty was super helpful the minute I walked in the door and took the time to give me a mini tour. She showed me which washer might work best (3 sizes to choose from) to best tackle the laundry I had on hand. It was the most peace and quiet I have had in a long time and I was impressed at the layout and cleanliness of the establishment.

I just started having them wash and fold my clothes for me. The price of just .99 cents is great, and Carrie the woman at the front desk had them done in less than two hours from when I dropped them off. They were perfectly folded. I'd highly recommend this service. Very friendly and the place is very clean.

Easy and oversized entryway, televisions, public restroom, play room to keep the little ones busy, attendants in the event that there is a malfunction, and an overall cleanliness and fresh smell...what more could you ask for?

Dec 2015 and One year ago: Very clean, employees very helpful, super size (5 loads) to single load washers, reasonably priced, very convenient parking in back of store & out front in plaza. Overall, best place I've been to in CT for self-wash facilities. :) -plus, it's convenient having a grocery store, Joanne's, etc right in same plaza.

My lady and I have been going here consistently for over a year. We drop off for the wash dry and fold service. The work is not bad. However it appears that they actually have an issue doing the services that they offer like if it is an annoyance to actually do it. From the mumbling under breath, to the attitude received when dropping off our stuff, the experience became more uncomfortable. It's like they would start talking about us before we even walked in. If you have an issue offering a service, you should stop offering it.

Update: This place is under new management and the issues below have been addressed and fixed. Definitely recommend going The guy was extremely rude to me. He told me I couldn't wash any of my clothes because I was past the cut off time. Not closing time but cutoff time I know there is a difference. When I pointed at the sign and told him I was a half hour earlier then the cut off time he then told me they were closing early and I couldn't wash my clothes. Why have hours of operations if you don't follow them. The guy clearly just didn't want me there. I will never go back.

It's a laundromat It's clean. We were in and out for whatever it took for the length of a cycle for washing and drying. It was the it was however the most I have spent at a laundromat to get my clothes washed and dried.

Under new management! And it was an awesome experience!!! I decided to stop in here to wash my clothes eventhough I was skeptical, because in the past when I’ve came, the previous owners/or workers stopped me from washing, stating it was past “last wash” or “cut off time” even though the sign on the door clearly stated the time and I would get there an hour early because I knew the rules! Also previous times they would close early “just because” they felt like it. Tonight I came in here and loved the atmosphere, new owners are very friendly and welcoming! People who wash there clothes in laundromats should definitely consider Laundromat Express as there first choice! 5 stars ⭐️

Place is clean,bathroom is clean, washers at least the big one the water doesnt go down therefor you are wasting your laundry detergent. I told the lady and she was like yeah they do that

I was very impressed with the assistance I was given -she was patient explaingin how the machines work and the card system. If there were 6 stars, I would give it 6! The new owners were fantastic and very helpful. I haven't been there in years, but returned recently after hearing good things from a friend. The prices are the lowest around, and the laundromat is spotless and very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who uses a laundromat.

I find this laundromat to be extremely peaceful and well run. This includes everything from the washers and dryers too all employees who work at the front desk as they are always very polite and helpful. This is my first time doing laundry at a laundromat and laundromat express in Waterford has made this a great first experience.
