By far the worst place I've ever done business at, I admit I put 10 dollars of quarters in the machine before I shut the door and it never counted so I went to the counter and politely told the lady at the counter I made a mistake, she then told me how it was impossible that there was no way I put 10 dollars in the machine which clearly told me she thought I was lying to her she then told me I was damaging her machine and threw a ten dollar bill in my face a stormed off, this woman does not deserve the people of homer's money nor does she deserve the money from out of towners, do yourself a favor and spend your money at one of the other laundry businesses in homer.

Pretty disgusting... Move the trash can and look in the corner, run your hand on the top of the doorframe, or look down at the shower edge, look up underneath the sink...see the nasties? If they can't be trusted to actually CLEAN it, you know it's damn sure not sanitary. Neither in the bathroom nor in the showers was there any paper towels... They do provide one of the wall-mounted air-forced germ spreaders in the public bathroom, but they obviously never clean that 'hand dryer'. I do know at least two steady families who come here who have severe cases of athlete's foot (they've asked me about treatment). If you dare to shower here, I'd suggest wearing Crocs or something similar. As mentioned in some other reviews, some of the staff's attitudes are pretty hideous. I came in for the first time in about a year, and mentioned that I'd like the family shower because it has a toilet. She said she wanted to charge me $16 dollars - double the already outrageous eight for a shower without a toilet. In the past, that shower wasn't double... But she swore it had been. I know it wasn't because I'd taken my own girls in the several times and used that family shower - at the time, one was seven dollars and the other eleven. She straight up LIED to my face... Now, you can choose to believe it, or not. That's up to you. But do please ask yourself - if maybe a liar, does she also lie about cleaning properly? Is that a risk you're willing to take with your health? I wonder - how often the washers are sanitized? Underneath the tables and chairs where kids wipe boogers? The doorknobs and frames of those showers, especially the outside? I am disappointed that there's such a business in my town. It's simply embarrassing.

I only used the laundry facilities but it was very clean, well organized, and a helpful attendant was on duty. I thought it was a little pricey but for the amenities it was probably worth it. The attendant was kind and helpful.

A couple of the employees seem extremely unhappy and treat certain customers poorly. The prices are outrageous! 11.00 for a super sized load, and that's just to wash! It is clean and there are a few games for younger kids to play.

I love Alaska-but the one thing is... the lack of competition creates some exceptionally poor service. I like to support kind people with my hard earned cash. So even though it might be a struggle to find a different option I’m going to try. I don’t want to use this very pretty & clean facility because the staff acts entitled and their actions are begging for them to be placed in a few customer service classes. We have been to their establishment 3 times-trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. First time, my partner was ridiculed for asking a question (by the same person in the bottom of this story). Second time we went in to ask what time they closed and were shouted at from the counter, even though the door was propped open, third time I went in at 7:55pm to do a quick wash of some bedding I really needed for that night. I know they closed at 8pmbut there was a bunch of laundry in the machines and many cars in the parking lot so I really didn’t think I’d be holding them up and again the same poor treatment happened. A pretty lady with white & silver hair called from the counter in front of 3 other customers “excuse me, I close like in 5 minutes!?!” I was like “oh ok, I’ll go somewhere else.” Then she walked all the way around the counter, what she should have done before, and said “there aren’t any other places.” I’m not really sure why she wanted to drive that point home? Unfortunately, she is correct, but what I meant was-I’ll find somewhere else as in I’m NOT coming back. She did let me know that they opened in the morning but... if you close at 8, last load goes in at 8, that’s rather simple. If you want to leave at 8, maybe “close” at 7:30? Their actions scream that they don’t really need my money so, I’ll be directing mine elsewhere. Where you spend your money makes a difference so, think about it. Whew! That’s all from me.

Just what you want when traveling. Fast and clean washers and dryers. At least 35 washers and about the same number of dryers. A good surprise in Homer. Free wifi with no password hassle, good music mix and espresso inside. Machines take quarters. ATM and change machine worked good.

Clean laundry facilities, with a simple and effective store layout. A lot of machines for a less wait time (in the summer, tourist season). I havent had to take showers there and I havent had any communication with staff (so I can not agree or disagree with the other reviews). Yes, the prices are pretty expensive, but so is everything else in this town.

Excellent! There are plenty of washers and the dryers hold several loads at a time. The lady who works there is really nice and attentive. She makes sure you have a punch card so you save money. There is a little coffee shop inside which is really convenient. The place is super clean and well taken care of.

It’s ok place - buts super expensive! The cheapest mashines is 5:50$ per load the most expensive one is 12$ a mashines ! Driers also very expensive. So if you planning to wash a little load wait find other place. If you have lots of loads maybe will work to make one huge load .
