Little tidbit

My name is Nancy and I was a customer of Taylored in April 2019. I can't even begin to describe the experience I had. My house, basically my kitchen suffered water damage. It took two years for someone to work on it. The previous company, which I will not name, left my kitchen in my dining room and never came back. It was left that way for a year! Finally I was asked to choose another company and there was Taylored! The customer service I received from all the personnel I encountered there made me so happy, yet still untrusting. They kept saying we'll get your house fixed! The people packed my belongings up with care and stored them. Kevin was the one who installed, painted, suggested work for the safety of myself and my home. He was meticulous and took great pride in his craft! There was another gentleman who worked on the floor and trim. He did an excellent job! Angie, Kelli and everyone were so understanding. I'm sorry if I forgot other associates names. They brought all my things back, unpacked it all and took away the paper and boxes. The ones I wanted to wait to unpack were picked up later. Thank you to Taylored as a whole! A company that cares about their customers and the job that they do!

While traveling in Oregon and Utah this year my rear deck with roof collapsed. (See picture) One week later Taylored Restoration responded to remove old wreckage and rebuild my deck with roof. They took care of all sub-contractors, permits, material, anything needed for the restoration. Gorden Sanders was incharge of the job and he did a great. I have nothing but good to say about this company.

Thank you Taylored Restoration including Project Manager extraordinaire Andrea Phoenix, billing wizard Heidi Dunlap, Andrew the the sheetrock superstar, and Kevin the keeper of the flooring, and the dry out guys whose names I don’t think I ever got, but who out-plumbed the plumber and stymied the leak until i could get someone to come back out. Such a great experience. They walked me through the process when my insurance company left me in the dark, and made it easy to pay, even when I used the wrong card. Heidi voided the payment so that I could provide a more appropriate payment method, and was willing to give me additional time to come up with the money if I had needed. They were very accommodating about doing extra work- little corrections that I had wanted to take care of but didn't think it was willing to call a tech out for. Very very impressed.

One of my rental units suffered a flood and caused significant sheetrock and flooring damage. Taylored arrived within 2 hours, had the unit dried out and began demo in just a couple days. There was asbestos in the unit which necessitated abatement. Taylored handled this as well. The final product was far superior to the unit's previous condition with excellent sheetrock work, paint, trim and flooring.

The employees I have dealt with not only had the knowledge and skills to do the physical part of the job, but also had the equally important skill of great customer service! My condo was damaged in the Nov 18' earthquake. Taylored restoration took the initiative to handle 100% of the necessary repairs to get the condo back into condition, however the condo looked even better after Taylored came in and did repairs. I was very impressed. They did an amazing job, The home even had that "new home" smell. It wasnt a difficult process either, The contractor already knew what needed to be done just from a 10 minute walk through. Theyre so quick to get things started I was surprised when the contractor called me to ask, "What color do you want the new paints to be?" It felt like I was being catered to a new home. It was an good experience. They work with your homeowner's insurance as well. They have a great office team and a great crew. Doug was my contractor, and I hope its him next time too!

Their employees are thieves, they take things that they think you will not notice like food. They come when you're not home, at 8pm to work on a job they haven't touched in days. They tell you they will never arrive after 5pm, to your surprise they will be in your home late at night. Do not trust them in your home alone, always be there if they are there.do not allow them to use your key in a lock box. Not trustworthy.

Taylor restoration was called in to re-mediate a septic back up. Teir personnel were professional and repairs were completed in a timely manner. The project was quite extensive but Taylored did their best to complete the work with minimal disruption in our house.

I recently had a major water leak in my house. I was contacted by Taylored Restoration via my insurance company and was NOT DISAPPOINTED. The crew was very professional, polite and respectful while they worked. I have two kids and wife at home while work was happening and they would always ask her if they are being too noisy or warn her in advance of construction. They were always open to questions I had and were always available to address any of my families concerns.

I have been very impressed with Taylored. They came to our rescue after a terrible remodel of our bathrooms was done by another company. They repaired our roof structure,did an amazing drywall job and the tile work was very neat and custom. I would recommend Steve Rocker to anyone wanting to get an estimate. Each time they were professional, up front about costs and extremely timely in their response time. They gave us confidence the work would be done correctly and coordinated the entire water damage project including with our insurance company. I am beyond frustrated with this restoration. It has been five months since my ceiling caught fire. I have been patient and understanding. But now I'm beyond frustrated, the work is half done and today the painter and floor guy were supposed to be here and finish, only a closet was painted nothing else all day.I know this review and all other negative reviews will be removed tomorrow but I hope someone thinking of hiring them changes their mind.

To everyone who suffered damage to their home from the November 30, 2018 earthquake, I want to let you know my experience with Taylored Restoration. I was fortunate that the damage to my home was mainly cosmetic- cracks in the sheet rock around all the numerous doors and windows. I did suffer water damage along one wall in the living room from flashing that had pulled away on the outside. ( The roof was under warranty from the roofing company so they repaired the flashing but not my wall). Despite multiple calls to various contractors and repair people, I was unable to get anyone to come out and give me an estimate until I contacted Taylored Restoration. I explained that I realize my damages were not as severe as many other homes but I still wanted them repaired and that I was not in any rush. They sent out Doug Steffans to estimate the length of time needed for the repairs and quote the hourly/material cost. Eventually, I did get 2 other bids which were less costly but Doug Steffans went through each area in my home thoroughly explaining what needed to be done. I felt that Taylored Restoration had the best plan although it would be more expensive. When it came time for my job to be completed, their employee Andrew Villarreal called me on a Sunday so he could come over to see the areas needing to be fixed starting that Monday. What a nice, conscientious, meticulous, courteous person.He asked when was the earliest he could start each day. I told him 0630-0700 start was fine with me. He kept me posted about the work in my house and the cost. His masking of the areas not being plastered/painted was impeccable. At the end of each day, he made sure the work areas were clean.There was no stray paint or plaster on any of my furniture/floors. It took 2 weeks the work to be completed. It was well worth it. At completion, Andrew went through all the areas and what was done. You cannot tell any damage occurred to my home from the earthquake. Andrew is truly an artist . He takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows. My home looks so much better now than when I initially purchased it 24 years ago thanks to all their work and recommendations. Debbie Petersen, who manages the office sent me a detailed invoice at the completion of each week of work. What a lovely person to talk to. She was very helpful and efficient. I recommend Taylored Restoration highly. I have already recommended them to 2 other colleagues who need work done in their homes. I would definitely use their services again if the need arose. The saying " you get what you paid for" is true. They have exceptional service, workmanship, and staff. If quality matters to you, go with Taylored Restoration!

Your company is currently working on my house which suffered a small fire. I want to pass along a huge at a boy to the staff that has been working on getting my home back in order. The level of customer service that I have received has been nothing short of phenomenal. At times I think the art of true customer service has died but your staff has proven to me it is alive and well at Taylored! The most important element that your company has provided was a piece of mind. Things will be fine. We will take of it and to this point perfect communication. We had extensive water damage to our home from a failed valve. Taylored Restoration was booked for a week or two before they could get to us but we opted to wait for them and we are very glad we did. The estimating and scheduling was easy, all the trades were coordinated well, we know when people were coming and they all showed up promptly when expected. I struggled with a chronically leaky bay window for 7 years. Summer after summer I worried that heavy rain would damage my window, walls and floors. Summer after summer numerous contractors weren’t that interested in spending time to investigate the puzzling cause of the leak. I was resigned to installing a new window with possibly a new set of problems. Then Gordon Sanders from Taylored Restoration spent the time necessary to find and fix the cause of the leak. Now that October rain, wind, and hail have tested my bay windows to the max I know my home is secure. I thank Gordon and Taylored Restoration for adhering to the company’s stated mission for cost-effective customer service.

After our house fire the Taylored staff were compassionate and sensitive to our needs. They exhibited patience as we took in the full extent of the damage to our belongings. They were respectful with everything from restoring the items we selected to disposing of the items we chose not to restore. They even set aside several boxes of items that were undamaged for us to retrieve. The financial portion of our experience was not so great. It is a very long story and all I can offer is if you are working with Taylored make sure you check in with them frequently keeping them informed of your insurance claim process. Expect to do all the paperwork and to be the middle man between your insurance company and Taylored. This way you will not be left with a large bill to pay.

We had your crews in our house over the last week working on ceiling repairs caused by the extreme snow this winter. The leaks left some pretty big holes! I want to let you all know that we are more than pleased with the work they did! Everyone who was here (including the asbestos removal people) were extremely professional and friendly. They went over and above expectations as far as I'm concerned. I didn't get the names of everyone, but want to make sure they receive a thumbs up from happy clients! That particularly applies to the guy who was here this morning to finish everything up (and I wish I'd paid attention to his name from the beginning?). We'll definitely recommend Taylored to anyone who asks, and as we told the person this morning, if you need a reference at any point we'll be happy to provide that. I'm sure we'll be contacting you down the road for the next project here. This house has the popcorn ceilings that were popular during the time frame it was constructed, and we want to get rid of it, as soon as we can afford that step.

My condo burned down, and the 2 units above it as well. Taylored restorations response was amazing in time and quality. Within 2 days of the incident, they had contacted me through my insurance, and began reconstruction right away. They were able to rebuild the condo and structure itself within 6 monhs, and down to the smallest detail was amazing work. I cannot thnk them enough for what they did for me.
