What can I say, it's a diamond in the rough. Great food, Alaska motif on the Clearwater River. Service was fast and friendly, food was a good portion for what you pay for. I would say this place is somewhat of a bargain when you look how far you are from the main city of Fairbanks and Delta Junction. This is a fisherman's paradise location in the summer and fall months. Located a short walk from the Delta Clearwater state park and campground. Full service bar with many Alaska beers on tap. This is what you have been looking for.

The view and location is GREAT. Beautiful. Food is good, about what you can expect to count as good. But not excellent. I had a burger and fries and I am sure I would have cooked it better myself. It was good but very little flavor. For the dining the service is.... I can tell they are nice and mean to be, but it was subpar at best most of the night. They didn't offer me a table so after standing there awkwardly I finally asked and they said I could sit wherever. They were very nice and maybe I should have guessed, but I have been working with people in customer service for a long time and it kind of blew my mind that nobody realized or offered. A certain waitress made obvious looks at my food that made me feel awkward. Most of the employees were nice but just seemed bored and lacking in their presentation, which resulted in me feeling awkward and being nervous to communicate with them. I still enjoyed it and I don't think you shouldn't go by. It's definately worth the stop just for the view, but it was just awkward and that ruined the experience. I guess I'm better at working with customers than being on the receiving end because I kept thinking about all of the things I would be doing and asking if I were them. That being said, they were more kind by the end of the night and more responsive and that raised their presentation a lot in my mind. Without that the rating would have been lower. I am not a picky person so I usually don't leave reviews like this. I am giving 4 stars because I don't think that this is common, but the employees seemed pretty laid back and comfortable (that slightly bored, less greetable feeling) so I think that it probably happens occasionally. They just need more energy and awarness. :) I probably won't go back for food. That's how bad it felt. But I will definately go back for the view, maybe just stop by and take a look at the river.

We stayed in one of the rustic cabins and ate at the restaurant. The cabin was as expected being a dry rustic cabin. The location is beautiful. While the cabin and location are great they also have a wonderful restaurant to go with it all.

The bar offers a beautiful view of the Clearwater river. There is outdoor seating with a few lawn games such as Cornhole. More games are found inside including pool, beer pong, and darts. Inside there is also interesting art pieces such as mammoth tusks and other pieces of nature. They have a nice beer selection, many beers brewed in Alaska. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The place is usually surprisingly busy for such a small town.

Beautiful place to visit and camp! We stayed there for two days and 1 night. Great place to camp, fish and kayak. Highly recommend!! Cabins: reasonably priced, fits a lot of people, and they have heat and electricity. Restaurant: very good food. Big portions; most of us couldn't finish it all.

6 of us arrived first, 10 mins before opening, waited for our food for over an 1hour 1/2. Food was brought out cold, none of us enjoyed our meals, the burger was flavorless. Our waitress didn’t check up on us at all after the food was brought out, and when we tipped her 10%, she yelled at us as we walked out.

The food was excellent. The batter on the fried onions rings was light not heavy or oily. Halibut fish tacos also delicious. Service was slow. From start to finish we were there 3 hours. Waited entirely too long.

Had a little mishap with our cabin rentals but it worked out. I would go back in a heart beat. We had 11 kids with us and 6 adults and never felt bad for us being to rowdy or bothering anyone. Everyone had an amazing time at the lodge. Can't wait to go back!!

This place gets 2 stars based just on its location and beauty. Sadly it won't get any stars for service or atmosphere from this reviewer. Huge disappointment every time after giving it several fair chances. Menu choices are very poor costs extremely high. There is no such thing as customer service in the restaurant or the bar, well actually no GOOD service at all.

I love the staff. They make me smile when skies are grey. They literally hug you when you’re crying in the corner of the bar. 10/5 stars for sure. Don’t get me started on how sweet the head cook is. I think I’m in love.
