You would think that this would be a great place to send your kids, but think again.. I have a very health child, hardly ever sick. My child loved gone to the YMCA and playing in their pool area. I never once thought that my child was in danger. Resently my child became ill with Coxackie Virus. Upon our visit to the doctor we did a run down of the public places my son had been and there was only one place. The Kettle Moraine Ymca pool, the doctor said that definetly where he got it from. This virus is passed thru bodly fluids. She said more then likely he drank in some pool water that was carring the virus. Upon remembering back I remembered a coworkering talking to me about her daughter getting hand foot and mouth from the day care also at this Ymca, which if u dont know is a stem from the virus my son now has. I called the YMCA, where the only thing they seemed concerned with was getting my childs name. They then told me that the only time they take action is when infectious diseases contacts them. Wow, really? I would think that their pools were proberly maintained to kill such bacteria and viruses. I hope this atleast helps some parents take a second look at either taking their children to the YMCA or taking extra precautions when sending their children to this YMCA.

The water aerobics at the YMCA pool is wonderful! It starts at 7:15 am. The exercises are easy in the water and your body gets the benefit! After class many of us go in the hot tub or walk the lazy river. I just feel more healthy after the water experiences and I am not a swimmer.

Great place to workout! The staff are professional and motivating!!! Every trainer wants you to succeed, so they find alternate exercises for those painful areas. I've been a member of the Y for years and an Alloy member since 2016. Would definitely recommend!!!!

It’s an OK place to work out only problem is the place is always filthy run down machines are broken. the water in the pools and hot tub are disgustingly dirty they never change the water and you can see the mold growing on the floors and walls. For spending $70 a month it truly isn’t worth it but there’s no other place to use the warm water pool. The life guards will tell you how bad the water is and how much no one cares

so i wrote my review on facebook but it got deleted so im just gunna post this here: i added a screenshot of my post( edit: they put my review back up the day after i wrote this review! what a coincidence! anyways, i digress, ) not sure if its being added here but what happened is this: i could not breathe because i had a cold and the chlorine content was so high that the combination led me to start choking and i literally could not breathe after being in the pool area for about thirty minutes. i had to exit the pool area and i used the emergency exit. instead of the staff asking if i was ok, they harassed me for leaving the pool area by using the emergency exit. I was being yelled at while i was unable to breathe...are you kidding me? So i left the pool area because i didnt feel like being screamed at. As im leaving the YMCA the lady at the front desk refuses to give me my card back and is holding the card near her chest as she is SCOLDING ME. All i want to do is leave. I finally get my card back and I say nothing as Im quickly trying to make my escape. As im walking out the door a staff member screams at me that she is going to call my mother! im 27! I just looked at her like she was insane and left. She actually did call my mother and we both had a wonderful time laughing. Im not allowed to come back unless I apologize! What immaturity although entertaining...Its unfortunate because I do enjoy the ymca but the Staff needs to be replaced and the chlorine needs to be adjusted.

Most judgmental people I have ever seen. Then again this is West Bend...Majority of people who use the machines are old and cut you off. Even if you are on the machine. They don't care..there are other gyms around that are much better. Turn off the Fox News everywhere. Don't need that garbage on in a massive gym environment. Especially in the locker room. Then again this is West Bend..in a different reality.

Very complete fitness facility. Masters Power lifter here...dead lift platform, 2 squat cages with band attachments, 2 solid benches. A nearly complete set of plate loaded hammer strength. Heavy dumbbells. Two full machine circuits over in cardiovascular area. Two Step mills.

Equipment is old.. they never seem to upgrade. So busy here that a lot of times you can't even get on the machines you want. Some of the employees at the desk are very rude. Definitely not worth the pricy membership of almost $70.00.

Going on 10yrs++ of memories... from just married to having kids, working through injuries... Compared to the nearby Wisconsin Dells, we have been 100% spoiled on the indoor water park. Our family regrets a recent trip there and wish we would have invited family to our house instead of the Dells. That says a lot about the facility. It is better than many of the World's finest Indoor Water-parks.... Crazy but true...we are spoiled beyond imagination.

I go to the YMCA mainly to weight lift and do cardio. It is not a Monster Garage gym, but more than equipped for my needs. I have 2 kids, and they really enjoy the family adventure pool. It is like a mini water park that comes with your membership. Now, it is not $10 a month like Planet Fitness, but your body is worth a little more for everything they have to offer. I will be a member for life.

This facility is improving and is a great place to spend a few hours with the kids. This location has two slides, lazy river/water walking, and a lap pool. There's a small 1/16th of a mile track, weights, gymnastics, and cardio room. Staff is always really friendly.

My daughter took a swim class here a year ago and it was good but the last day she got hand/foot/mouth disease. I thought it was just bad luck so I decided to go swimming again for fun family day and only stayed 30 minutes because of the apparent lack of cleanliness. It's now 3 days later and the whole family has hand/foot/mouth again. I will never come back to this cesspool.
