My daughter goes to kinder here. It's a pretty good school for the most part. This school in particular seems to ask for parent involvement a lot more in comparison to other schools. It's almost everyday that I find a form asking to bring in something for the next day. A few examples are supplies for projects, special type of clothing for a themed day, money for something to purchase, etc. In a way it's good as parents should be involved and it's not too overwhelming at this point at least. I'll update this if things change. The teachers themselves seem to be really good. Very nice and professional. The office staff is friendly and always willing to help. This school enforces the buddy system with children at all times which I think is a really great thing for elementary age children. My only gripe, and the reason for 3 stars is that their school lunches are borderline inedible. The entrees themselves look bad unprepared and even worse after cooked. We used to let our daughter eat breakfast and lunch at the school but after going with her to eat breakfast and seeing the horrible food they have to eat, we prepare her lunches and she'll only eat the prepackaged cereals for breakfast there now. The fruits they have normally don't look fresh at all. The bananas are brown. Apples are old and bruised. Peaches and pears are brown and mixed together when they shouldn't be. Sometimes the fruits have random spots of what I can only guess is food coloring. The last time my daughter ate (or attempted to anyways) hot breakfast at school we got a pig in a blanket. It was rock solid and once breaking through the hard tac to what was supposed to be a sausage, we found some kind of black, inedible, indistinguishable object that resembled the shape of a cocktail sausage. So, to sum things up, great staff and facility, horrible and inedible food.
