We are very happy with Little Nest! Our daughter has been there for over a year and she is always excited to go to "school" in the morning. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. If you're looking for a great place for your child to learn, build relationships, and prepare for Kindergarten, Little Nest is it!

This has been the best preschool ever! The teachers are friendly and caring and the Director is very approachable. Any little issue we have had (and sometimes it's probably us just being overbearing parents more than anything) it is been resolved and we have been comfortable with the response. The environment is structured and I am amazed at how much my little one has learned! Our son loves going there and loves the teachers. He comes home with all sorts of stories and the field trips they plan are educational and fun. I have been so impressed with everything they do with the children and how much the staff cares. He is now ready for kindergarten and I have the staff at Little Nest Preschool to thank!

We LOVE Little Nest Preschool. We moved here from NC in April 2017 with my 6 and 4 year old (enter Mom guilt for moving mid year). Jessica was easy to get in touch with and answered all my questions quickly. My daughter started soon after we got here and my son joined the school age program when school let out. The staff are amazing. They are caring, attentive, and encouraging. We now go to the 5th street center and could not be more pleased! My now 5 year old looks forward to school everyday as they have continued her love of learning from her old preschool. As a teacher, I love the Montessori way of learning and am confident my daughter will be ready for Kindergarten next year. (Although she tells me she’s going to Little Nest, not big school). She will miss them for sure!

As a single, working mother I needed a safe, nurturing environment for my son and I found that here. Each and every teacher truly cares about him. The activities, projects and field trips keep him stimulated and happy, and he comes home asking questions about everything from the solar system to how plants grow and more! The building and yard are private and there is a security code to get in which is just that added comfort knowing your child is secure. It's like a little family away from home, and it reassures this mom that we have hit the jackpot with preschools!!!

Little Nest (5th St.) is an amazing pre-k in so many aspects. My 2 year old has attended since the opening and I have been impressed with his intellectual growth since he started. He is constantly singing songs and sharing new knowledge that he learned from his experience at Little Nest. What is more, Little Nest takes the little guys on monthly field trips and exposes them to a variety of opportunities outside of their normal classroom setting. I highly recommend Little Nest (5th St. Location).

Both of my children have gone to Little Nest Preschool now. My oldest went when Ms. Jessica ran it out of her home several years ago, and now my youngest goes to the Jett Drive location. The staff at Little Nest are amazing with the kids, and have helped both of them come out of their shells. They have a great curriculum, and give great feedback on the kids. Highly recommend!

We found Little Nest Preschool after doing research online. Our family just moved from the East Coast and care with extended morning and evening hours was important to us. With our family's business schedule, we wanted a second home for our preschooler and found it here at Little Nest on Fifth Street. From the first tour we took, everyone was so friendly and eager to engage. Our daughter is cared for like their own child. She enjoys going on a daily basis and every teacher is friendly and greets the children with their first name. I would definitely high recommend!!

We loved our sons school in Denver so we were concerned about finding a old school here in Rapid. We wanted a place that wasn’t just a day care or baby sitter. We wanted a place where our son could learn and be prepared for kindergarten. We love little nest! The teachers are great and our son made friends quickly. He loves the tumble bus and can’t wait for Tuesdays!!!

Jessica, I have as well been very sick; however, that is not a justifiable reason why things are happening the way that they are. I don't appreciate your lies and business with you has been very, very unprofessional and disturbing to say the least. The truth is that "I" addressed my concerns with Melissa today around 5:30 p.m. this evening. I was VERY straightforward, but professional. I have trusted you and your employees with the safety and well-being of my four-year-old and your service has been highly unsatisfactory. Little Nest Preschool is not the right fit for any child, every day that I, or anyone else has picked up Benton have become concerned about his cleanliness, not getting enough food, being notified of when the preschool was going to be closed, etc. I had to bring extra food to the preschool, because my son has been complaining to myself and his other families members that he was hungry or thirsty. I asked your faculty if he was allowed seconds on lunch, snack, etc. and they informed me that him or any child was told "No" on having extra food if they were still hungry. These are growing children and if don't understand that you should not be a daycare owner. Also, every day he has been FILTHY from head-to-toe - I had to ask your employee for a wipe to clean his face. The state and I have been paying you to provide good quality services to my child Benton. Additionally, Sean and other family members have informed me that your employees were not asking for ID's from the individuals who have been picking him up. That is a definite security and safety issue for these children! Oh, and I almost forget to mention. When I picked up my son today he was throwing these bean bags up at the ceiling and he accidentally hit the vent. When he did, a massive amount of dirt, dust, etc. came pouring down. Do you know how bad this is for these children to be breathing in? This is a huge health concern. Vents are supposed to be cleaned out frequently in pursuit of preventing different types of sicknesses. It's sad that you do not keep up on these things - these children deserve better than this. Also, my son's winter jacket was being sent home with other people. Furthermore, you have NEVER sat down with anyone of us to discuss and address these concerns. I have been nothing but respectful to all of you and I have other parents/people who are willing to say the same. I will not be taking my child back to your preschool and I expect a refund ASAP. Just so you know, I will be graduating this year with a Bachelor's degree in business and from my education and, well common sense, that how you treat every child, parent, etc. will reflect on your business. If any person in Rapid City, or elsewhere asks about your preschool I will make sure to tell them everything that my son and I had experienced. Also, I NEVER left not you, nor anyone else a heated voicemail - I'd honestly like to have you prove that. I simply called you and left a voicemail being concerned that I was not informed of the preschool being closed last Friday and Monday. It would have been a professional thing for you to get back to the parent who needed to know this relevant information, so that they knew not to take their child to a preschool that was closed; this is referred to as "common courtesy". His enrollment has ended and do not be surprised if others do as well. You're not welcome to call me and e-mail's will be the only accepted form of contact, because I do not trust you, or any other person working for you. As I stated previously, you need to have that deposit refunded immediately. I don't feel comfortable going to your preschool, so Benton's belongings will be picked up by a police officer, so that there will not be any further accusations made about my son, myself, or any other part of his family.

When we moved here from SC we were sad to find that daycare's here are extremely full and short staffed. We got started at Little Nest the minute my youngest turned two and he had a great experience. We came from a very bad in-home daycare before then (again with the full daycare's) and were so grateful to have a staff who helped him with potty training, separation anxiety, and were just gentle and kind. His brother attended on district days and loved it, he was always sad to go back to preschool. We are no longer at Little Nest, but loved our time there and often rely on them for District Day care. **Responding to some of the other comments on dirty kids, when we were there about a year ago this happened to us as well. HOWEVER it was understood that they were building a new playground at the time so this was a temporary concern. Plus, my kids love to play in the dirt, so it never bothered me. I was just glad they were having fun and were allowed to free play outside. Let kids be kids :)

Wonderful teachers and teaching methods. Great activities and an amazing outdoor area for the kids to run during outside time. Great place for kids to be creative and learn from themselves and others as well as in their classroom setting. Amazing learning opportunities in a Beautiful facility!
