My daughter attended Goddard from age 18 months until 3.5 years, until our family relocated out of state for work. I constantly tell everyone how wonderful this school is and recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality preschool for their children. After comparing Goddard to several other preschools in the Rock Hill area and now our new city in the Houston, TX suburbs, it is clearly head and shoulders above others. The staff and teachers are very friendly and skilled at dealing with both children and their parents. From day one, I was amazed at what a toddler was capable of learning and accomplishing. Their curriculum is expertly balanced with play time and education and our daughter came home with a smile on her face every day. Her interactions with the teachers and her classmates/friends helped her grow into a very confident, articulate and respectful little girl. Everywhere we go, she shines, and I honestly feel we owe a lot of that to Goddard.

Both my wife and I like the school and my son is always happy to go. When we go to pick him up, he always wants to stay and show me something he learned or did that day. We wanted a preschool rather then a daycare, so our son could learn and be prepared for kindergarten. All the teachers at the Goddard school have degrees and are not just child watchers with no education. Some places seemed small, but not the Goddard school. Children should have room to run around even if it is raining outside. They have a great covered outside area for the kids to play and learn in. Some buildings we saw seemed old and unkept, but not here. The school is very clean and modern. Also, some places just didn't seem to be anything more then child watching, but the Goddard school is a learning environment. We want our son to enjoy preschool and school, and we want him to gain something from the experience, friendships, and knowledge provided at the Goddard school. We know he is going to be better prepared than some of his friends strictly because of the school. Children here can have great experiences and get messy and enjoy life with guidance, learning, and planned activities. Our son has already learned so much from his teachers and classmates. He is also experiencing all of the fun of being a child with the organization and planned activities that help him socially interact. The Goddard school is a great place to send your child. I highly recommend it!

The best school we’ve been to! Fantastic owners, directors and teachers. My son loves going to school everyday and learns so much! The school is so clean, fresh and the environment is exactly what you hope for your child to be in. I would recommend this school to anyone!

The Goddard School in Rock Hill is simply the best. My daughter has flourished under their curriculum and caring teachers. She is in the two year old room and her teacher is her best buddy. My daughter is confident and sweet. She gets along with the other children and brings a positive attitude home (that’s saying a lot for a 2-year old). I cannot say enough about this school or the staff. My wife and I are very protective but our minds are at rest when she is at school. Our newborn will be starting there soon as well! I highly recommend Goddard in Rock Hill.

My wife and I have a high energy son. We switched him to the Goodard school halfway through the pre-k year. He was acting out at his previous school. The change was amazing. My sons attuitude changed from a shamful one to a proud and happy one! So, you can imagine how us parents felt! Thank you all at Goodard in Rock Hill.

Although I am not familiar with The Goddard School and it's curriculum and my family does not have a child enrolled at The Goddard School, I wanted to give a personal reference on one of the directors at the Rock Hill Goddard School. She doesn't need an excellent reference from me and she surely has no idea I am writing this. Her name is Susan Costley and she is my neighbor that lives across the street from my family. We have been neighbors for several years. She is a warm, friendly and honest lady and I think the world of her. She has the nicest and most polite teenage boys and one of the sweetest husbands I have ever known. Soon after they moved into our neighborhood, I knew without hesitation that I wanted her and her husband to have a key to our home in case of an emergency. Susan Costley is a fantastic lady and a very capable teacher in every way. If you are considering The Goddard School for your child or children, you can be well assured that Susan Costley and her staff will be kind, loving and an ideal person to teach and lead your child in the best possible way in every aspect of schooling. The Goddard School in Rock Hill is top notch! Since our daughter transferred here from another daycare/preschool in Rock Hill we have noticed such a positive change in her personality. We love the Goddard School Rock Hill! I cannot say enough about the level of care and curriculum that my child has received there. My little one is already able to do most Kindergarten milestones such as count to 100 and write her name VERY well. There is a perfect balance of structure and play that makes learning so fun for the kids. The teachers that we've had have been nurturing and professional. I love getting daily reports complete with PHOTOs of all the fun learning activities the class did that day! I have no concerns with starting kindergarten next year because my little one will be MORE than ready! If you're touring preschools, make sure Goddard is on your list. Goddard is second to none in terms of the facility or the learning environment!

My twins started attending the Goddard School a couple months ago when they were about 14 months old. They had never been in a school setting, and the thought of leaving them with strangers made me want to cry...and I did, many times! But as soon as I visited the Goddard School in Rock Hill, I knew it was the place my kids needed to be. Ms. Amy and Ms. Susan put me at ease in every way. They are so quick to respond to emails, and at least one of them is always on site, giving them a true open-door policy. For a pretty neurotic mom leaving her kids for the first time, this is very important! The security at this facility is incredibly impressive, and the daily report sent home with each child is so informative. It tells me everything I need to know about how their day was spent. Their teacher, Ms. Brianna, is wonderful. She is so loving and genuinely cares about every child in her classroom. Thanks to her, my kids know sign language! I am often amazed by the things they can do and say after just 8 short weeks at Goddard. I love watching them grow every single day. I would recommend the Goddard School to any parents who value education and want the highest level of care for their children.

The Goddard School in Rock Hill has been an excellent decision for our family. We have an almost 3 year old and a 7 month old that currently attend. Prior to placing our children at the Goddard School, we believed they were in solid, well rounded placements (one went to a local church school and one stayed home). Wow! It has been amazing to see the transformation in both of our children since attending Goddard. Our 3 year old has become more confident and well-spoken; our 7 month old is on a fantastic schedule. Both of our children are engaged throughout the day. We were very hesitant about placing our children in what is traditionally known as daycare. The staff / teachers are hands on, engaging and do so much for the children. You will not be disappointed!!

We came from another private school after we noticed that our oldest son was falling behind in Pre K and he was not happy with the teachers. We know our son, and this was not like him. After just a week and a half at Rock Hill Goddard we saw the smile return and the will to learn spark up again. He is now in Fort Mill kindergarten school system. Rock Hill Goddard prepared him to the extent that he was not at all nervous to go to the "Big Kid School". I can't thank the staff and owners enough. We have a 17 month old that we enrolled when he was about 10months. he has flourished and has demonstrated an exorbitant amount of progress of social and learned skills from this place. Yes we will be using Rock Hill Goddard for his preschool. We also have a 4 year old that has been there for the last year and a half. He cam over when we moved the older one and he to has excelled and enjoys going there everyday. The make learning fun. The teachers enjoy their job or they fake it very well. It is a clean clean clean facility with great security with in regard to knowing who goes in and out. I would consider my wife and I to be neurotic parents when it comes to our boys. I trust them, I feel extremely comfortable leaving my all my boys with them. I highly recommend that you conceder this learning facility.

After trying several other daycares in the area and being extremely unhappy with the results, we sent our daughter to Goddard and never regretted the decision. The staff is excellent, she never had a teacher who didn't connect with her on a personal level and she always received top-notch personal attention. Her development both interpersonally with her classmates ("friends" in the parlance of Goddard) and her readiness for kindergarten was amazing. She was so well prepared that during her placement test for the public school kindergarten she currently attends the teacher giving the test came back after a few minutes and said: "Well that was the quickest test ever. Your daughter already knows everything she needs for Kindergarten." And it is not just the staff. Goddard attracts great kids and does a great job of teaching them. Every day when I dropped off and picked up my daughter I was surrounded by "friends" who would be just as excited to see me as they were my little one. It really is a great community of learners who are nurtured to do their best. I would completely recommend it as the finest daycare (honestly it is more a school than a daycare) in Rock Hill that I have run across and anyone who wants their child to have a successful start in life should seriously consider sending their child there.

I could write a novel about how much I LOVE The Goddard School in Rock Hill. My daughter started at The Goddard School when she was 19 months old. Up until that point she was being cared for full time by my mother. She was my first child and I had never thought about what I would do when it was time for her to go to daycare/school. I started my search online and I read so many wonderful things about The Goddard School. So, I decided to contact them and Ms. Amy was so responsive. She answered all of my pressing questions and set up a date and time for us to meet and for me to tour the school. I was so impressed the second I saw the school. Then, when I walked in I saw how clean, modern and well kept it was and the classrooms and the play area were just incredible. I was also very impressed with the security at the doors. That was very important to me and my husband. Every staff member that I met was so warm and welcoming and every single parent that I passed while on the tour stopped me in my tracks to tell me how much they love The Goddard School and how much their children love attending school there every day. In the five months that my daughter has been attending The Goddard School, she has impressed me more than ever. I see a drastic change in her desire to learn, try new words and in her social interactions. She comes home every day in such a great mood. I also love the daily reports that they send home. They are such a wonderful glimpse into her day. These reports include pictures and a memorable moment specific for my child and I really look forward to reading them every night. I feel like we are a part of a big family at The Goddard School. Every teacher knows my child’s name, regardless if she is in their class and every time I walk in I am greeted by the friendly staff. They’ve made this very tough transition so much easier on me, my husband and of course my daughter. I could go on and on about how much this school means to my family. I highly recommend The Goddard School! It was the best decision that we have made so far for my daughter! You will not be disappointed in the care and level of education that your child will receive.

We loved going here! We live in Fort Mill and only the daily 30 min each way drive made us change schools. The staff were all great and you could see the real affection they had for our son and all the kids there. Our son was always coming home with arts and crafts as well as new songs. His language and social skills have developed dramatically over his time there. They're also outside for a good while during the day which is really great. The building is nice and clean but homey feeling and their outdoor play spaces at great with the nature trail and raised beds for the kids to learn about how things grow. Overall we really loved it here and we're sad to go.

Our 1 year old child has attended the Goddard School since she was 12 weeks old. I thought I was going to stay at home, but plans changed and when I began searching for a place to send my child, I was skeptical everywhere I went until I toured the Goddard School and met the owner, Amy Strickland, as well as the directors and teachers. While it was a bit higher tuition, I was confident that I would be able to leave her there and go to work without too much worry. The teachers are so knowledgeable and friendly, everyone of them greets us in the morning and knows my child by name! Being in education myself, I have very high expectations of the school and teachers where my child goes, and The Goddard School has met every one of those expectations. Our child was also premature, so I had concerns about her development, but she has thrived in every milestone, and I attribute much of that to her daily experiences at The Goddard School. The Daily Reports we receive are full of information that I can talk to her about her day and the pictures and videos make me feel like I'm not missing out on anything! I highly recommend The Goddard School!

Our daughter has been at Goddard for about 1 1/2 years now. She has had such an awesome experience. She learns so much and feels so safe. Goddard is well worth the price. After touring many daycare schools around Rock Hill, Goddard was the obvious choice for our family. She especially loves the rich and dynamic experiences from the outside PE and music programs that come in each week.

Our son started at the Goddard School in Rock Hill when he was 1.5 years old. It was our first experience with childcare and we were very nervous, to say the least. However, we have loved every single thing about the Goddard School! Everyone is amazing: the teachers are so caring, the administration is incredibly organized, the curriculum touches on every area of development, and our son has really thrived there. We don't have to worry about him while we're at work because we know he is well taken care of. The Goddard School Rock Hill is more than a preschool, it is truly a home away from home!

Goddard teaches the whole child. My son has grown just as much in his motor abilities as he has in his academic and social skills. I love that they consistently have music and PE lessons as well! The Tadpoles app is also impressive and helps us to expand on what he is learning at school.
