REVIEWS OF Montessori School of Pawleys Island IN South Carolina

Mark Griggs

An excellent school. My wife and I love it, and so does our son.

Anita Giardino

I am so thankful for all of the love and wonderful care my daughter receives at MSPI.

Amy Miller

Montessori School of Pawleys Island is an incredibly rich learning environment for children. There are no limits to how far children can go in Montessori because children learn at their own pace, whether that pace is accelerated or needs to be a little slower - it's tailored to the child. If you haven't seen Montessori in action, make an appointment to observe a class and see the Montessori difference for yourself. Montessori teaches life skills, independence, responsibility and inspires a lifelong love of learning. My son attended school there from toddler age through kindergarten and now attends Coastal Montessori Charter School. My sincere hope is that he will have a Montessori education through 12th grade. Thank you MSPI for all you've done for our family.

A wonderful place for your child to learn. The teachers and staff are very caring and the method of learning allows your child to explore at his/her own pace and teaches them to connect with others and the environment in a calm, respectful, helpful manner.

My daughter has attended MSPI for over two years from Toddler 1 through Primary. The staff is truly excellent and has exceeded my expectations as a former Montessori-educated child myself! This goes beyond daycare and offers the Montessori Method of prepared environments and guides who allow the child to learn at their own pace and share their discoveries with their classmates in a mentor-mentee role. My daughter has blossomed from a very shy 1.5 year old who had separation anxiety and trouble with transitions into a confident, well spoken 3 year old with nurturing friendships. I feel it's really important that she stay in primary through her 3rd year (equivalent to kindergarten year) so she too can be a model for younger children and continue to foster her creativity and social skills. I am also enrolling my son in January and love the close knit community at the school!

My son has been with the school for over one year and he has learned so much during this time. The teachers and staff do an amazing job with the kids and they make it easy for the parents to be very involved in their school life. I have joined several school events and it was great to see my son engaging with his friends, teachers, and the Montessori materials. The school's aftercare and summer program is also a plus!
