Our review is for the infant room. They are fine at providing basic care and supervision but don't expect much else. We enrolled our 3 month old here and sadly it did not go well. We had expectations based on what we heard from friends with similar age children - teachers in a good infant program should be playing with and interacting with the infants often, holding them, introducing them to new scents and textures, playing baby-friendly music, etc. Sadly our son experienced very little of this at Field of Dreams Edgewater. We ended up pulling him out, as he was not thriving or getting anything positive out of being there, certainly not worth $1300 a month in "tuition". We have no doubt that our experience would have been a lot more positive if he was older (2 or 3 years) and more independent. The older kids seemed really happy here from what we could see. In our situation and with our son being so young, we did not feel it was an enriching environment for him. Lastly, although it is great that they are one of the few cloth diaper friendly facilities in the area, we had a difficult experience getting the staff to use them properly, even after several weeks. He was the only cloth diapered child in the room and the system we use (Flip) is extremely easy to use, but about half the time he came home with the diaper on backwards or wrong.

I highly recommend Field of Dreams. The staff is great with our child, rates are reasonable, and they are great with communication.

My daughters been going here for a year and we're thrilled she gets to learn music, arts, water days, and more on a daily basis! Also the staff is very friendly and professional.

My daughter started Field of Dreams- Edgewater (The TK program) in August and we could not be more pleased with how much she has learned, how wonderful everyone is, and how much she loves it. My daughter will start kindergarten in the fall, and at her evaluation/registration the teachers were thrilled to find out she was attending the TK program at Field of Dreams. They commented on how well prepared the children were who attended. All of the staff are amazing. They are friendly, they are kind, nurturing, and they go above and beyond for each of the kids. I can't give FOD enough stars. We will be so sad to leave in Aug when my daughter heads to Kindergarten!

We have been so happy with our switch to FOD. Came from another "top rated" Fort Mill daycare, but the differences are immense. FOD has very caring and supportive teachers who are highly screened and with longevity (a rarity in this industry!) Plus, the facility itself is run very professionally, without drama and communications issues. My daughter loves it here, and my second will be attending here as well.

worth every penny, we where hesitant about putting our son in a daycare facility but we could not be happier with all that he has learned and all the friends he has made.

After having my son Home for several years I wanted to put him in a good pre-K program that was all day while I was at work. I could not be happier with the care he has received her there and feel he is very much ready to enter kindergarten next year. I also have my older son and going there for after school from Indian Land Elementary and I have been very happy with that as well.

My experience is the complete opposite of the review stated below for the infant room. My son was enrolled at 3 months of age, and we’ve had nothing but good days here. The teachers are extremely attentive to the infants’ needs. I log into the cameras frequently throughout the day, and the teachers are always playing with or caring for the babies. The teachers send me pictures of my son interacting with the other babies, exploring new textures, finger-painting, and going on stroller rides. My son smiles and reaches his arms out excitedly for the teachers when we arrive at drop off, and is always in a clean diaper at pick up. The teachers are quick to call or message me through the app if there is a question or concern. Security within the facility is also very tight. All of these factors give me piece of mind when I leave my son in their care.
