Very nice campus. Quite hilly, but nicely laid out. We toured last summer.
Just an awesome place.
Great people, and wonderful place. Beautiful flowers everywhere, smile face every step. Party hard, study harder! Come and you will never regret spend your time here learn and grow. I love you, lehigh!
Nice place
Graduated in '59. Outstanding University if you take full advantage and not hide in the library and your room. Provides a setting which will prepare you for life after graduation in your career and outside activities. Geared to those who aspire to higher management with high moral and social values. Excellent alumni contacts and area clubs. Listed in top ten in Income of Graduates. Excellent Athletics, [both Inter-Collegiate and Intramura]. Unbelivably beautiful campus. I have had three children graduate all of whom are sucessfull in Commerce ,Education and Family Life. If you fit in this profile Lehigh is a go!
Great campus!
Had a wonderful time at Lehigh University last falls. Love the people, they are all awesome. was attached at Office of International Affairs (OIA), Coxe Hall Building. Had a great experience learning the best practices of LU.. LU will always be in my sweet memory.
Great educational experience. Went back for some courses to complete my degree. Highly recommend
I attended during the 1980s, which was a difficult time for the town of Bethlehem, and even for the University, this being caused largely by the disheartening decline of Bethlehem Steel. The era helped usher in a period of change, one that would limit and control the party scene at the school, expand the campus (physically and academically), and perhaps to allow the University to depend more so on itself for ideas and impetus (rather than associated institutions and businesses)... I was initially attracted to Lehigh for its strength in the Sciences and Math, laissez faire attitude in regard to distribution requirements and foreign language, and the beauty of its campus. I applied to 17 schools, in the East and mid-West, and had been around, therefore. Lehigh actually has one of the prettiest campuses in the Eastern U.S. I also enjoyed, after becoming a student, its snug closeness with the town, and on the other side of the mountain, its almost dreamy bucolicness. Matters have changed to a degree now, yes, what with the extension to I-78 and the new football stadium, but nonetheless much remains. With the quality of the teaching I was always consistently impressed, and of how much the professors and deans cared about individual students. And as a student, my recognition for its laissez faire attitude to distribution came to be much appreciated, as I was never forced to take a class I did not like...! It did come close: yet due to the quaintness and joviality of the Professor, it eventually proved an experience in itself. As time passed, I made the decision to depart studies of Math and Science, even granted its beauty and fascination, to the broader fields of Philosophy and History, in my own journey to get a liberal arts education. Yet, my appraisal of the high quality of education did not change. In conclusion, I would like to offer a short response to Mr. Stan Yavoroski, who graduated from Lehigh a generation ago, and had the critique that it was not as open to new technology as it should be. There is an element of truth here, as Lehigh has been very traditional and conservative, generally speaking, in its long history, in regards to technology, and other matters as well. But that was 40 odd years ago, and perspectives can change. Nevertheless, there are strengths in a conservative approach: that energy and effort is not wasted in (at times) fruitless endeavors... Lehigh is a growing and well balanced technical University that has openings and opportunities for many various types of students, and for those seeking a liberal arts education. I can only believe, in the quarter century since I left, that it has become stronger.
5 stars for beating Duke!!!
dougy perez is a hispanic racist. unfortunately Bethlehem is not a sanctuary city. sorry douchey....im mean dougy, but try Houston they hire people strictly on skin color and not on qualifications. perfect for you sir.
Would agree with Barry Grunder. It's unfortunate but you have to know what professors you're getting into in order to pass college. Its the truth about college. Our university systems which we're required to pay so much money to get into give their professors full say. Abuse of their power is guaranteed to have no consequences. Great job if you're a professor I guess to get to tyrannize over students, but atrocious position for a student like myself. I'm not nor have I ever been an attendant of this Lehigh University, but its so-called students on here (or better yet staff members) have a lot of nerve boasting of its reputation and credibility when complaints are bombarding the internet on its staff. I too read the story of Amanda Eckhardt's wronging one of her students and nothing being done about the matter beyond the teacher's fellow staff in her department claiming the student was wrong and the teacher was right. A typical response. Not only that but a student recently died near the college which is also coming up in the news. Maybe it's staff should concentrate a little less on passing themselves off as satisfied students and worry about bettering their school.

A first-rate institution for higher learning.
Indoor track facility, championship meet.
Great
My daughter accidentally put the deposit for the school without consulting me, calling the school less than twenty-four hours after trying to explain the mistake, THEY DO NOT REIMBURSE THE MONEY !! You guys are the judge at what kind of people are they.
Actually attended. Awful, dangerous place. Don't send your child here. Instruction is variable, some decent, some incomprehensible. Grading is worse. You should not give nuanced or sophisticated answers, your professor might not understand what you said. Stick to the trite and simpleminded. There is no system of challenging grades. What the professor says is what you get. Their "judicial system" has no justice. A student can be asked to "confess" without knowing the charges against him or her. He is tried by a panel of hearing officers who are the judges, the prosecutor, the jury and the hangman (the one who assesses the penalty). He can be punished for an infraction that is not written in the rules of conduct. It is just made up by the hearing officers or the dean of students. Go someplace else, anyplace else.
Lehigh is a beautiful campus with so many opportunities for students. Would recommend to anyone.
Beautiful place with that distinct colonial charm. The grounds and buildings seem well maintained. The university has other campuses and this one is called Asa Packer campus (named after its founder) to distinguish it from the rest. We were here during spring break so the place was quiet. If you're visiting like us, you can park at the garage next to the Alumni Building and then start your walking tour from there. The terrain slopes gently in places so walking around shouldn't be too stressful for the average person. If you're short on time, check out the grounds near the University Center and the Linderman Library Building. Grab a map by the Alumni Building if you plan to explore further.
I wouldn't want to go to a school that years after graduating they can revoke your degree just because the heck of it... ! Be careful where you go to school ! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO NO ONE...
It sucks
I was at the university for a wedding and it was definitely a pretty location for an event.

Beautiful Campus
Fantastic cross country track.
Great university and a lovely campus. I visited for a conference and the students and faculty I met were happy, knowledgeable, and friendly.
I was railroaded by lehigh officer on over embellished charges he violated my miranda rights and civil rights if your a veteran or homeless avoid this campus at all cost they will find charges make charges look worse than they are and have friends in the D as office that go right along with them stay away from college if not a student you will be next
My dream school. I enjoyed touring Lehigh and I do plan on applying when the time comes. Its stunning campus, brilliant professors, and outstanding student body are just some of the many things this university has to offer.

Great university and a lovely campus. I visited for a conference and the students and faculty I met were happy, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Great campus!
Lehigh Pride for life
I took way too many drugs in my time in here to realize anything about this school, but i'm giving them five stars for their good intention.
Awesome community. Awesome Police Officers.
It's my second year here and I can say that it's a very picturesque and beautiful campus and I love it here, both the academics and the social. One drawback that I'm starting to like is the abundance of stairs!
Real great place. Lots of hole

Do not base your college decision on a google review! ;-)
Overall a poor educational experience.
Great school. Professors who care about the students. Administration allows and supports students to grow socially and professionally.
students hospitalized from alcohol poisoning, sammy over hazing, idiot upper middle class white racists, located in a burned out small town, vain long island attitude, mostly fat schmucks, plenty anti semitism, expensive
Excellent University
Great school and gives you an amazing education at a beautiful campus.
Oof someone took my kool aid rip

Received a great education. The excellent career services provided by the university and wonderful alumni networking allowed me to have the pick of several great jobs in November of my senior year.
@crancrab: I am sorry but you and your friends probably partied too much!! There is a small portion of Lehigh students who attend the university in order to party. So DO NOT BLAME YOUR FAILURES ON OTHERS. The professors here are wonderful if you really want to learn. For people who want to get an A without paying any effort, sorry, Lehigh is not for you since there are so many smart and hard working students here. Lehigh is a great place which can provides you enormous opportunities. Most of my friends got wonderful jobs after graduation and they are all hard working people.
I love here because this place is beautiful and my girlfriend study here! The precious memory was created!
Absolutely love this place. Wanted to transfer out for a number of years; am now staying for an MS. You get what you put in. Lehigh, much like the rest of the world, does not reward mediocrity or an attitude of entitlement. ...but the difference is that here you will be supported, challenged, coached and inspired by some of the best and brightest on the planet.
This review is based off of my family being asked to participate in a survey for baby development. The girls who did the research were very nice and were great with our daughter.
Pulling a honoary degree from a democraticly elected president is showing the political attitude of this school. I would avoid it, regardless of party affiliation.
This post is dated, however... I graduated as an EE from Lehigh in 1975. At that time I was very interested in digital/analog design and interfacing. As an undergrad I worked for the Navy Research Labs doing design work for them. I was head of the computer society, etc. For my senior project I designed and built a CPU. My last year at Lehigh saw me pulled into the dean's office with the head of the faculty. They had strong issues with my concentration on digital technology, which was not where a "real EE" from Lehigh should be focused. I was stunned. I pointed out (professionally) that digital was largely the future. There would be places for analog designs, but that world was shrinking. It was not a pleasant discussion. A letter from the Chief Scientist of NRL to the university helped calm the waters. I graduated, started an engineering firm, and lived happily thereafter. It has been a long time but I advise anyone looking at Lehigh to investigate its commitment to new technology. BTW – I was not a party animal. “Went to school and worked” pretty much sums it up.
Great school.
I'm very disappointed waiting period very long I was there with my 2 years old grandson with high fever in the waiting room with all sick people, germs flying around th waiting area 0 considering for a little humans.
I am a proud parent of a Lehigh Student. Lehigh is a prestigious school with a long standing reputation. Lehigh is well known for its international appeal as well. Only the very best colleges gain attention worldwide. Lehigh is a college for hard working students and the professors are top notch with very impressive credentials. Lehigh is a college that seeks out the very best professors to educate their students. Any driven student will prosper both in college and in the job market when they graduate.
Don't bother going to this school or applying for jobs in the kitchen or any other jobs that you see that's hiring. Because this school is very racist and all the white workers are very racist, prejudice and so ignorant that they only want to hire white people. If people don't believe what I just post then a non white person should go to the school and try applying for some jobs, and you would feel very discriminated.
Lehigh Gorge is a pretty awesome state park where you can bicycle, sight see or white water raft. We came in through the village of Rockport one afternoon while travelling around. There is parking and a concession stand, although in the time we were there it was closed. They recently converted tons of it to Rails-to-trails. There are some good hiking trails in the area, with lots of advanced offerings. There is a nature center that highlights the regions history. The park stands at over 4500 acres.
the tour was AMAZING !!!!!
Received an awesome education here. Great place for business, engineering, and sciences. The city of Bethlehem is undergoing a gradual revival. Would like to see the undergrad program be more diverse in terms of student makeup.
Huge campus. On my next visit I will sign up for the tour. The whole campus is on the side of a hill. A mountain bike will come in handy along with a good lock.
I’m really excited to go to this beautiful and prominent University!
My grandpa went here and I'm going with him for a game today against Georgetown
Lehigh is a first-class university that is recognized both nationally and internationally for its highly selective admissions process and great academics, especially in the science and engineering programs. Lehigh is considered, by many individuals in academia, to be part of a group of highly elite colleges known as the "New Ivies". I have personally visited the campus on a few occasions and every experience has been great; all of the faculty and staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and intelligent. I also heard a rumor that when the Ivy League was first being established, Lehigh received an invitation to join the Ivy League, but Lehigh officials turned the Ivy League deal down, not once, not twice, but three times! This elite university is clearly on the rise... It has an influential and innovative strategic plan for its academic success in the future. I would expect this university to be ranked much, much higher in years to come... I can't believe they were only ranked 38th in National Universities by USNWR; Lehigh University should be ranked much higher for the 2014 USNWR rankings. After all, it is one of the best universities in the world...
Had a great time
