Kimberly Brooky - Matarazzo
I rated this 1 star, I wish I could rate it negative stars if I could! My son went to Kindercare for over a year and it was the absolute worst care ever! We were new to the area and didn't know much better at the time but our child literally got sick every week and had to stay home, so the area manager actually gave us a $600+ reimbursement for all of his missed days due to the constant illnesses he would pick up from there which just solidifies that the staff totally recognizes this terrible issue in there facility. He was supposed to be learning how to potty train but nobody at all would help which was frustrating. The teachers were never consistently there, it was literally a revolving door and the longest a teacher was there would be around a month, our children need consistency so that was bothersome to us. There was a time while I was ill and hospitalized so daddy had to do most of the dressing of our son and did a wonderful job of course but our son would get messy eating breakfast with syrup at the school in the morning and the last day of our teachers stay she decided to call child protective services on us in regards to how our child is always hungry in the morning and messy clothes during his days at school. This was ridiculous and the CPS worker even stated how insane the allegations were once she had came to our home, saw our lifestyle, or sons room, clothes, food, etc. He's just a hungry growing boy who eats a lot and of course he would get messy from maple syrup as a 3/4yr old eating breakfast before the teacher even had a chance to see him in clean clothes before eating breakfast at school, so yes, we are still irate about these claims. Luckily, I was able to pull our son out of Kindercare and teach him everything at home myself and he excelled immediately and we were able to play catch up from everything he missed out on learning while in Kindercare. I would never suggest sending your child to Kindercare, they are simply baby sitters and your child will not learn anything and only pick up on germs and terrible habits! I would definitely seek other means of schooling for your toddler or child even if it means bringing a nanny in as the price isn't much different and well worth it for your child's health and future. Kindercare is just awful! Terrible place!
