My son has been going here for a couple years now and he has developed academically and socially through this time. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to ensure their child is ready for kindergarten.

Great environment for kids, I feel like my kids learn so much! They do a good job of not making you feel like a number in a large facility and the activities are awesome.

My daughter loves this school. Things they could improve is have cameras that actually record. Have an app where parents can log in and see through camera what there kids are doing. I've noticed children crying when there parents leave or for other reasons and not see a teacher comfort them. That is the worst feeling ever to see a child cry so much and get no attention. If that was my kid I would be super mad. Last thing would be addressing violence quicker and informing parents when it happens. I found out another child hit mine by asking her, when I questioned her teacher she confirmed. They informed me they called the parents of the other child but I wish they would inform the victim as well.

Overall the facility itself is great. The teachers are nice and seem to care for the children but they never stay long. My son was enrolled here for over a year and he has had more teachers there then months attended. My son is two and adjusts about as well as any other two year old.Every time there was a new teacher I knew I would be spending the next week or two dropping him off scared and crying. eventually he would warm up to the new teacher just in time for them to get fired or moved to a different room. At his age he needs structure and consistency and neither was provided for him at CLA. You would have a hard time finding a more expensive place to send your child. For the cost you would think they could afford to staff appropriately. Another problem I had there was a problem that happened when my son fell and hit his head on a table. The incident apparently had occurred around 10 AM. Well I received a call around three in the afternoon to inform me that he had hit his head. They said he was fine and they just wanted to inform us of the incident and tell me they attempted to call my wife but she didn't answer. My wife never received a phone call from them and after picking my son up around four PM she removed the bandage to discover a large laceration and that he was still bleeding. She took him to the doctor where they ended up having to glue the wound shut. He now has a nice sized scar above his eye. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Overall, my son loved his teachers. The only issue I have is that my son was sick A LOT while at this facility. I don't know if it's a cleanliness issue or what, but do consider this when choosing this facility.

I have worked here from the beginning and I may not agree with everything but when it comes to childcare/jobs that will always happen one way or another. I do however absolutely love working here. Growing with CLA I have learned a lot. We had some rocky years but I believe as a childcare center and a business we are going in the right direction. When it comes to child care I have seen it all and working for CLA is like Disney land when it comes to child care centers. I started as a teacher and I could go on and on about the curriculum that CLA has. It’s easy for any teacher and can be Modified for the children if need be. I will say that if someone is choosing to work at CLA that they do hold their teachers to high standard so it’s def work but I don’t feel like they ask too much when it come to the quality of care they want the children and families to have. If I was a family lookking this would be the place I’d want my kids. Our teachers are amazing and love their children.

Very "Corporate"! Walk in the first day of summer break and nothing was organized where they could find our file or to be expecting us. We had signed up before spring break. You don't get to see how your child behaved because they retrieve your child so you don't get the interaction with the teacher. I had gone to find my child myself and he wasn't in the room they said my child was in. Wondered around until I could find my child since no one could give me an answer. What really put me over the edge was a disciplinary action. Had a note at the sign out table letting me know my child was involved in an incident. I go to the front desk, am handed a piece of paper that said my child had hit another child. However, I was pointed out by the manager that the incident had occurred 2 weeks prior!!!! How am I supposed to discipline my child on something that took place weeks ago! Once again, Corporate! So disorganized. Facility is terrific. Teachers are great. Management is horrible!

One of their busses hit my car. The worker lied and said it was my fault to the insurance company , even though at the scene she said "she was sorry for hitting my car." I called the manger and she lied also about talking to the insurance company and was super rude. Well thankfully, I won, but I would never take my child to a place were the leadership and the workers lie. Who knows what else they could be lying about.

The teachers and building as amazing. I am blown away from the customer service!!!

Teachers hit or miss. My children loved it last year, teachers were awesome. This year one of my child's teachers is intimidating, takes things away out of spite, makes rude comments, and has been overheard by several children talking about inappropriate things in personal conversations with a friend within earshot of the children. My child is terrified to even speak up for fear of retaliation. This teacher needs to be fired. My children love the center otherwise and it is beautiful with many activities. However it is ridiculously expensive. There are a myriad of corporate rules and food restrictions. Its not worth the money. I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately its hard to find care that's not full. Very sad because it has so much potential but staff make or break you.

Be careful, understaffed, poor cleaning, one time went to pick up my daughter they told me that she was not there. Scared me so much for few minutes. Last month they charged my credit card even though we have stopped going there. Shady business.

Well, as a new working parent in the city with a little boy we definitely relied on govt. ranking and went for the best ranked academy for child care. After 3 months struggling with continuous emergency care visit our Dr. told us our son was having allergic response to the accumulated stress in the child care facility. As traumatizing as it was, we immediately made appointment with several other childcare facility in Edmond including CLA. We visited CLA 3rd on our list. My son (almost a year old at the moment) who never even liked us visiting any child care facility, was completely comfortable at CLA on his first visit with us. He was playing and walking around as we were talking to Rachel (administrative personnel) about details for enrollment. We immediately knew this is the place. We love all the people in the administration who made it easy for parents, teachers as well as kids to transition. We think CLA's age-group based curriculum, defined extra curriculum facilities at the center as well as individual attention to child's developmental need is optimal for development of child's intellectual ability as well as emotional intelligence. My son started talking, interacting, rhyming, singing at the age of 1 year and 7 months just because of the curriculum CLA maintains in this age group. CLA care for my 3rd grader for after school care and Summer program was extremely helpful for her to settle down in a new town and new school. We love CLA teachers and administration. We would recommend it as the number one child care facility in Edmond.

My toddler has been attending CLA since August of this year and we are very happy with the care and curriculum. She loves to see her friends and teachers and I have no worries about her when I leave to go to work.

I am disgusting by the lack of professionalism for this facility. Yesterday there was a school closing due to busted pipes supposedly school was shut down at 3. I get a call from the daycare director at 6 on the way to pick my child up FROM WORK , and get threatened telling me I’m negligent and have failed to come and get her and she’s the only one left. I instantly felt guilty, because I’m not able to take phone calls while at work, but then I check my call history and voicemails and there was not a single missed call nor message from the facility. I then contacted her emergency contacts to see if daycare reached out to them NOPE. When I get to the school to address my concerns the director of all people tells me it is my responsibility to check my EMAIL for pickup in emergent situations! I don’t know what WORKING parent is checking their EMAIL OF all things for an emergency situation regarding their child. At a rate of 1200 dollars a month nobody in that building placed an outbound contact to myself, any of my child’s emergency contacts, or even MY GIVEN WORK NUMBER. I thought it was a great daycare until I realized who they really are and the kind of operation they are running. Crazy how all the other parents were contacted but me.

Communicated with the CEO for some time while organization was establishing roots in OK. Very good facility and motivation but just horrible location and pricing is a bit high and confusing. Communication ended up dropping off with leadership and we have a hard time getting responses from anyone besides the center direct which is spotty itself at times. We enrolled some time later with price matching offered making it affordable. They also accommodated our gluten allergy but we did have to stay on top of it quite a bit. Overall we enjoyed it but there was really bad communications with the front and rooms plus alot of frustration and turnover with the teachers (expressed to parents often). Also there are lots of different plans for different times of the year making it super confusing to track and billing wasn't always correct so we constantly had to stay on top of that as well. We ended up leaving for a closer and cheaper option but reached back out recently to see if they still offered a promo they had emailed us about after we left and were told they didn't offer promos anymore and we'd be paying full price (wouldn't even get our previous pricing). I asked about military and sibling discounts and never heard back so I followed up again and was told there are no discounts at all. I had also been told they do not and will not accept DHS because it isn't right for them. That's too bad because that is what is right for a lot of people in the area they serve. Emailed their corporate leadership and didn't get an acknowledgment or response from them, so I guess this is why we see the behavior we see with the center. This is really disappointed because we would've liked to explore coming back but it doesn't sound like it's an option for us.

I have been overall very pleased with my child's school. There are so many remarkable teachers, it's hard to mention them all without leaving anyone out: from the kitchen to the classroom. They all do care and it shows. They have hired some really talented teachers (including the chefs!) I appreciate everyone! The administration tries really hard to make everything run well. There is no perfect place, but CLA is overall a good fit for us. My daughter looks forward to going to school everyday and they are doing an outstanding job teaching her. My daughter says "please" and "thank you" because the teachers do really care about the children and reinforce proper behavior with the children. We have been attending CLA for over 2 years, so we have seen a lot of growth and a positive transition.

I would never let my children attend, after hearing about how horribly the staff are treated! I also would advise parents to read their DHS complaints/reports before letting your child attend. If you do give them your number ("for a raffle drawing") they will call you 50 times, even after you've asked them to stop calling.

Lindsey Fixley

We love everything about CLA! From the teachers to the staff, it’s a top notch daycare with so much to offer! Our son is 2 and gets so excited to go to school every day. We switched daycares about 6 months ago and haven’t ever regretted the decision.

Jalaina Miller

Was going to send my child there but will not since they "lost" a form to review if she could attend due to wearing a brace. They had no intention of letting her start while in her brace, and the manager was rude to me. I will not be treated like crap while I'm footing the bill.

I took a tour around August of this year. I really loved the setup and how engaged the staff seemed to be with the children. There were a ton of positives about this place except for the tuition. With two children this was a bit out of our price range. I think it would be a very nice gesture to offer a discount to military families. It's unfortunate that the better childcare centers are usually higher in cost.

This is a great place for anyone who wants to get their child Kindergarten ready. My daughter went here and is doing so well in public school. She is ahead of what was being taught in PreK. I am so pleased with the teachers and managers that work there. If it wasn't for them my child wouldn't have gained the knowledge she needed.

Emelia Ross

The customer service is great and my kids enjoy going here. I didn't give five stars because parking is crazy with the buses in the morning, but not really their fault.

AD James

We have had an amazing experience with this daycare! Even when we have had an issue, the administrators respond in a rational and caring manner. Our daughter loves the bowling alley and the kitchen! We highly recommend CLA!

I can't express how much I love this daycare! My son's classroom is always fun and inviting, the facility is clean and well maintained and his teachers are amazing! They aren't just supervising my son while I'm away, they're educating him and nurturing him. I'm so grateful to have found Children's Learning Adventure!!

When we moved to Edmond, like most other parents we went for one of the top rated child care facility in the town. We had terrible experience. My 1 year old child was taken to urgent care 3 times in 2 months period for hives break out and the dr. said it was due to accumulated stress. As we started visiting every other day care, we loved CLA on our first day. It is primarily because we identified our son to be very comfortable in the CLA environment and he was happily roaming in their classroom. As we spent 1 year at the institute, we love all the teachers both my son and daughter got. They have wonderfully designed curriculum for both under-school age kids and school age kids. we loved their after school program for our daughter since it was combination of multiple extra curricular activities in well resourced classrooms. The teachers are very cautious about kid's behavior management and developmental growth. For my toddler one of the thing we are so grateful to his teacher about is, development of emotional intelligence. It is transformational. Besides the teachers, we also love all the administrative personnel at CLA. They are amazing at helping both kids and parents to go through separation transition. They provide excellent guidance to the class teachers regardless which age group they are taking care of. Special thanks to Rachel, Christy, Hannah for always welcoming any questions or concerns with pen mind and warm heart. We personally recommend CLA as the number one choice for child care to all our friends just because we understand how stressful it can be in a different place and situation.

Great atmosphere, the staff is friendly and warm to the parents that come in. Management is knowledgeable about the facility and the kids love the amenities. They should really get the tablets fixed though. The children really love that feature.

- don’t wipe bottoms of toddlers so there is poop all their underwear - don’t turn off lights for nap time - no electronic system for communication with parents - no electronic check in/out so anyone could walk in and take a child and no one would know - every morning when I would walk in, there were always kids screaming or crying with no comfort from a teacher - the place operates like a fitness center

My oldest son started here when he was two and I finally took him out when he was four and only months away from starting pre k. It started off really great bc the teachers he had were awesome but then they had a ridiculous turn over rate we’re all of the original teachers he had left and he was constantly being introduced to new teachers that would come and go which I thought that was not healthy for him. He ended up not wanting to go back after his teachers in his 4 year old class left. They were always delayed to notify you of anything as far as management goes and I had to find out through the teachers like of something happened to my child. It might be better now I don’t know. But because of the experience I had I will not take my one year old to this facility. And I do believe that they should allow parents video acces to see what their kids are doing for as much money you have to pay for them to go there.

Spent one summer with CLA with my pre K child. Had a couple instances where they told children that if the children opened their eyes during nap time that some type of boogie man would harm them. I’m paraphrasing, but now that my child is almost in 1st grade & was recently asked if he’d like to go back for a summer camp, they said “I never want to go back to that place again” & proceeded to tell about their last day where the staff used some book, (“they now have banned from the school”) at least that’s what they said when we called. (which tells me it wasn’t an isolated innocent, but a frequently used twisted tactic) to scare the children in keeping their eyes closed at nap time. We’ve been dealing with major sleep issues with my child that has intensified since that summer & now It all makes sense. Rather than banning books, they s/b firing people & reporting staff to DHS for child abuse. Obviously this location is poorly managed with a lack of accountability.
