This school is horrible. In my opinion, the principal is not it at all. She has favorites, she is rude always looking at people like she's disgusted, and just not professional. I'm glad that i am graduating so i don't have to see the principal nor the arrogant stuck up kids that attend here. If i could give it 0 starts, i would. I DO NOT recommend this school.

My kids attended PS124. They teachers taught them Greek Mythology as an extra curriculum activity. They loved it. My old set is now a teacher. She is visiting Greece and said 'mom remember when we learned about Zues, Acropolis etc in elementary school PS124.' 'We are experiencing it up close n personal'. I will be forever grateful to the staff of 124 tht taught my three girls. They are all College Graduates. Two with masters and are teachers. One with BA. THE LEE GIRLS!!!!

One of my fondest childhood memories I remember all of my teachers and fellow classmates greatest educaters I'm so happy I was a part of it all kindergarten .thru six grade. I m so sad to say I've lost all my childhood photos of my classes from k-6 it would be an awesome asset to get back loved my school and all it instilled in my life wouldn't change a thing ....

I started this school in second grade and went thru 6th grade back in the 80's. It was the best school I went to and I had the best third grade teacher mrs monroe, I love her she's awesome. This school definitely steered me in the right path..

I attended PS 124Q from 1989-1996; I had Mrs. Monroe as a 3rd grade teacher yes she was always well dressed but I admired that about her. She is a strong beautiful woman, reminded me of my mother. Today at age 30 i thank EVERY SINGLE STAFF of PS 124. Principal Ms Thompson, 6th grade Teacher Ms. Small and many others. They have encouraged me to be a leader and not a follower. Currently, i am a supervisor at a major laboratory. My education started at PS124 and has been the stepping stone of my success. Many of my little cousins have also attended PS 124 and are now nurses or in Law School

IF I COULD GIVE -1 !!! THIS SCHOOL ONLY DEFENDS BLACK PEOPLE, VERY RACIST WITH HISPANIC AND GUYANESE KIDS, TEACHER ARE GOOD BUT THE PRINCIPAL AND HER ASSISTANT VERY ROUGH , THEY TREAT KIDS AS CRIMINALS, WAS MUCH BETTER WHEN WAS OLD PRINCIPAL, THIS ONE NOW WILL BE BETTER AT ANY BRONX PS.

I've been in this school scince kindergarden(i'm now in 6th grade going to 7th in a month or so...), I loved this school so much until the new principal Mrs. Williams Jones arrived... now this school is probably the worst it's ever been. My 2 boys have attended this school since kindergarten. Overall I'm pleased with the teachers. On the other hand, they need to replace Mrs. Rodriguez in the office! She's rude, arrogant and has a bad habbit of talking down to people. I know I can't be the only parent who's had issues with this woman. She needs to be fired!! Due to her unprofessionalism I give PS124 3 stars .
