My son was attending this school for a month. Within that time he hit his head in the playground 4 times. COA is very generic and are very assembly-line-like. Parents, beware.

Our decision to trust Children of America with our childcare was as hasty as our decision to move to Jackson Heights. And like that life-changing decision, the speed with which we made our choice turned out for the best. We only saw one other facility, and met with one nanny before pulling the trigger. Driven by an emergency need for childcare, we had to move quickly — which CoA was happy to accommodate. But even if we had all the time in the world, I wouldn’t change a thing about the decision. We were coming from an excellent nanny share in LIC, that our son had been accustomed to since he was four months old. He’s three years old now, and although I miss the warmth (and convenience) of our nanny, the transition to a daycare setting has been surprisingly pleasant. Largely thanks to the excellence of CoA. The facility is clean, safe, modern, and extremely well-appointed. The indoor and outdoor playgrounds were a huge selling point for us, as well as the kindness exhibited by the staff, especially the Associate Director, Ms. Lori. From day one she was warm, welcoming, and above all else, understanding of our family’s dual-working parent dynamic. Early dropoffs. Late pickups. Whatever it is, they get that people work. That flexibility and understanding was the X-factor that we needed to sign on the dotted line. We love the activities they do. The outside time. The photo updates throughout the day. The live camera feeds via Always Close By. We couldn’t have asked for a better situation to follow our excellent nanny. The only hangup is the food, which is what you’d expect from a corporate daycare, unfortunately. That’s one thing I wish was different. My son is generally really good with food, having exposed him to various textures and tastes early on. But he doesn’t really eat the lunch at CoA. So we had to get a doctor’s note allowing home cooked food. I advise CoA to empower location directors with the flexibility to contract a local caterer to prepare daily meals (i.e Red Rabbit). All-in-all, we love this daycare, and would choose them every time if faced with the decision.

Happy with the daycare, Miss Larissa is great, the teachers are friendly and professional. Lots of creative activities even for the youngest. On the administration side, Miss Lori has been super responsive and helpful from our first visit to today. And it's always nice to get photos and daily report through the app.

We are very happy with the love and care our daughter is receiving. She loves Ms. Larissa, Ms. Laura, Ms. Angela, and everyone in the infant room. Their knowledge and expertise put us at ease about leaving her while we're at work. We love getting photos and videos, and the art projects they complete are adorable. Ms. Lori and Ms. Valerie are helpful when it comes to administrative questions. Overall, our experience at COA-Jackson Heights has been quite positive.

Absolutely love this place ! COA is a very caring and loving environment. I have both my sons here and was nervous to leave my than 9 month old because he was really attached to me. The care and attention they give my boys is amazing. They love them just as I would and that gives me complete peace of mind. The teachers in the infant and toddler room are so patient with my little guy that can be a handful. I am so grateful my kids are receiving amazing care outside the home. I am grateful for the loving care and guidance Kelvin and Ethan receive daily from their teachers. They have been blessed with awesome teachers who understand my kids challenges, and handle them with grace. So thankful for this place. ♥️

My baby boy has been there for 7 months and loves it. When I drop him off in the mornings, it makes me happy to see him smile when he sees Miss Larissa. I like the activities they do like finger painting and he gets lots of one on one attention. It's a great place!

The receptionist is very mean, they only want money, don't care about your kids, never send my kids there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i could i'd give it a 0!!!! I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone, unprofessional ghetto teachers, on camara I saw how one of the teachers grabbed my child, lifted her in the air and sat her down roughly on her cot(bed). She had woken up from a nap and she was playing with a toy and the teacher saw her and was pulling her like if she had done something bad. She knew she was on camara, I called immediately for my child to be removed from there and I never took my daughter back there again!!! Disgusting, I was told it wasn't how it seemed. Are you kidding me?? I saw it all with my two eyes, trying to convince me. Nasty teachers, terrible!

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Ms. Lori we just knew this was where our son would go. Her sweet and inviting smile was just so warm and welcoming. She took the time to give us a tour of the entire school, show us the security percautions taken to ensure the safety of every single child, she listened to our concerns and was very empathetic. After speaking with her on that day we just knew we wanted him to go here. Enrolling our 2 year old son into COA was one of the best things we could've done for him. Ever since enrolling him we have seen such a difference in him. He's reaching milestones that he was behind in. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Christie from two's B are AMAZING!!!! My son looks forward to seeing them both. They are so sweet and caring with all of the children. They do their very best to express any concerns as well as are very attentive to information provided by us. They are also very patient and understanding. We were very afraid at first because we are so used to being home with him and we never leave him with anyone but us. But we also wanted to expose him to other children to help him develop socially. What can I say, as a parent you will always have fears, you will always feel worried but we can definitely say we have peace of mind when we leave our son at COA. We love the fact we can see what and how our son is doing from our phones through an app at any given time. We love the safety measures currently in place at COA definitely a huge factor in our decision in enrolling him here. The teachers are always available to speak with in case need be right from the classroom. Overall, this place is INCREDIBLE!!! Your child will always have something educational, fun and exciting to do while here.

I wishing i can give COA a zero. My son attended this school for almost 4 years and all we experienced was just problems. I can say that he loved going there because of his teacher very nice, very sweets to him. But other than that this place is a disaster. The administrative part is a nightmare because they only care about money, money. They will find any way they can to charge you even for services not provided to your child. It's sad to say but this place is money first children second. Also, please read all papers before signing off on any promotion or special agreements. They are very quick to charge your card / bank account, special hidden charges. Parents check your cc statements and bank statements. I don't recommend COA. They do not know how to do business the right way.

The best daycare learning center ever! For 6 months of working here I learned to love all the staffs and teachers especially the good management of our director Ms. Juana, assistant director Ms. Lori and Ms.Valeri. They are very considerate with their employees and I will never forget their motherly style in guiding their teachers on performing their duties in teaching and providing the needs of the students. My two children goes here and I see their progress in so many aspects of the curriculum. To all the parents, please consider this place for your children. In this daycare center, you will not going to worry because you will always have an access to see what your child is doing through live camera installed in every classroom. Also, an everyday detailed report that tells what your child ate in a specific time, naps, potty/diaper time and their everyday learning acitivies will be reported to you with their beautiful pictures will be sent through your email. I am leaving for a military duty but I will definitely go back here once I am done with the military. The best daycare and people with a heart I ever met in my life.

Children of America - Jackson Heights has exceeded our expectations! My son was not even born when we started searching for a daycare for him. I’m very picky, super cautious and overly concerned when it comes to things like this. We went to a few daycare's and we never felt 100% sold/confident the places we visited. There was just something about majority of these daycare's that we didn’t feel a friendly vibe from. I was looking for a place that would care for our son as if he was their own. After searching and not feeling happy with any of the daycare's, we decided to check out Children of America which is actually in our neighborhood! My first visit there was with Lori at the front desk. She is soooo amazing and just so down to earth. She made us feel so welcoming and answered all of our questions/concerns. We visited the newborn room then as well and liked the interaction we saw with the caretakers and the infants. We reserved a spot and decided to return once the baby was born. Once our baby was born we came to the center about 2-3 times and spent some time there. Primarily, we spent time with Lara and Jasmin. They were so great with the babies and made me feel so comfortable that I was able to sleep at night knowing he was going to be in great hands. Our baby started daycare at the center at 2 1/2 months! I also have access to the camera which I can access whenever I want and they always send me pictures during the day! Recently there have been other amazing caretakers at the center as well - Angela, Sumiyah which are one of many amazing people! Our son is so happy to come to this daycare - he gets really happy and excited once I enter the facility! I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone!!! Our son is now 6.5 months and we hope to continue to have him stay here!! In conclusion, they are trustworthy and caring! 5 star rating for sure!

Children of America' kindness and professionalism made my wife's transition back to work very easy. Miss Lara and Miss Jasmine take very good care of our daughter and give us a lot of good advice (which is really good for first time parents)! Our daughter is always happy to go and stay with them and she grows fast through the interaction with older kids! We also love that each week there's a different learning theme, we love to receive many pictures during the day, and a detailed report on nap, feed, activities at the end of the day... definitely a good place for infants and toddlers.

If I was able to give this place 0 stars I would!!

My son started with them when he was around 6 months old, and was actually one of the first kids in their brand new location. As a new mom I was nervous, like everyone, leaving my son with strangers, but the teachers and staff quickly put my mind at ease. They love and care for each of these kids like their own, and I go to work everyday knowing that they will always have my son's best interests at heart. They strike the perfect balance between learning and play, and I have seen my son just thrive under their care. The facility is clean, safe, and all of the teachers and staff are talented child development professionals, and caregivers. The entire staff has become like part of our family, and my son absolutely loves being there. They use the Tadpole app to keep you updated on your child's activities, meals, naps, etc, and the videos and photos they share throughout the day make you feel like you were part of their day. It especially helped in those first few months back to work. When my husband and I were thinking about moving to a bigger place in a new neighborhood, we actually decided against it mostly because of COA! Once you find caregivers you love and trust, there's no replacement. I have recommended COA to EVERYONE who has asked for childcare recs. They are truly best in class.

my son was there for about a year and he liked the teacher, the problem is with the administration . they have a check in time and a checkout time on a screen that tracks your time and they charge you accordingly.sometimes the screen wont work and they will charge you extra with overstay and good luck in trying to get proper response . any request you make, make sure it is documented and to all parents please check your statements because they are notorious for overcharging without your knowledge. they will never admit their mistake or apologize instead you get a cold shoulder and the run around. there is someone name Valerie at their front desk and she is one of the most incompetent and extremely UNRELIABLE person. after taking my son out of the school with proper notice and signed letter from them i was charged for 2 weeks in a row and after repeated phone calls with no response i had to use the credit card company to put a dispute on the amount . not a single apology but instead i get charged more for putting a dispute on an amount wrongfully charged by them. i have been living in jackson heights for a long time and a i have a lot of family and friends in the neighborhood and it is my duty to warn innocent parents about this establishment. they are only about the money and money only.

Valerie has been so great with my children! She is always there to greet us in the morning and let me know how my children's day went! All of the teachers really care about the well being of the kids in their class and you can see learning throughout the building. I am so glad I found this school.

Teachers and staff are very friendly and professional. One of my favorite things about this school is the Tadpole for parents where teachers randomly upload pics and videos of my child. That always puts a smile on my face as well as gives me a sense of security. Highly recommend this school.

jada fraser

Very very unprofessional nasty and rude the director never calls the parent back and I paid my deposit for my daughter to Have a start date and they gave me the wrong start date so now I had to wait five months for my daughter to start I tried calling back every day to see if my daughter had the correct start date and they said that they didn’t know very unprofessional don’t send your child to the daycare

Thank you COA!

I feel so overjoyed and blessed to have found such an amazingly beautiful, clean, and high tech school, not only for my children to attend but for me to work for as well!!! The teachers are so loving and really care about the children in their classrooms! Security Camera access brings all the peace of mind needed for nervous parents dropping their children off for the first time in a new place! Come check us out and I'll give you the grand tour... you will love what we have to offer!

This is one of the best schools in the area! The administration is awesome, they are all so pleasant and very helpful. The teachers are great with the children, they are so caring and professional and treat the children as if they were their own. The school is clean and colorful and very appealing to the kids! I’d recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good trustworthy place to send their children, where they also get a quality education. COA is awesome
