If I could give Springstone Montessori - Randolph 50 stars, I would. My daughter has been going here since summer and they have been nothing but amazing. My daughter actually wants to go to daycare. She comes home singing songs and talking up a storm, she is only ONE!. They have taught her so much. For us moving from California, we were skeptical of letting anyone watch our baby but Springstone has made us feel at home. It's the best decision I have ever made bringing her here.

My son was in the baby room for 2 months. The 2 set care takers in the baby room were excellent, however we were very unhappy with the management. Springstone charges $1000/month to have a child in the baby room and they attribute the high cost to low caregiver/child ratios. The ratio is set at 4 babies to one care giver, however 2-3 times a week when I would pick up my son there would be 5-6 babies and one care giver. In addition, for an entire week the management had us and the other parents leaving the babies in car seats at the front desk with the receptionists because the caregivers in the baby room were late to work. When we spoke with the management about this problem, they said we were lucky to have such excellent caregivers in the baby room because they have to commute a long distance. No changes were made and this continued to be a problem for us. We were also frustrated that many times when we would arrive at odd hours there would be one of the set caregivers in the room and an additional helper who we had never seen or met before. Also for the first month the baby room only had one old outdated bottle warmer that took 5 minutes to heat milk. With 8 babies in the room, that meant if our baby was last in line for lunch he waited 40 minutes for his milk to be warmed. When I asked the management about this, they said they didn't have the money to buy a new one. I ended up buying a new bottle warmer for the room myself. I have heard the management has changed since my son was there, but I would certainly caution anyone who is considering using this daycare/school. For the price you can put your child in a much better daycare or do a nanny share.

I am an Early Childhood Specialist and I had my child for about a month in this child care center. I give this place one star because of several reasons: 1) even though they say their staff is Montessori certified (mainly online) I recommend if you are looking for a truly Montessori institution to go to American Montessori Society website and look for CERTIFIED Montessori school in your area (there are several in the Albuquerque area). 2) Look into New Mexico Kids website and look into the CYFD Licensed Provider Site Survey Inspector Reports type the name of this "School" and see what even licensing has to say of this place. 3) As in the personal side, I did not know where to look so I trusted my child to these people. During the time my child was there the interactions were poor, teachers were always gossiping to each other and paying poor attention to children. I saw once or maybe twice in a month teachers sitting with children and having real interactions (and there were not the teachers that they are always calling their "Montessori" staff), that to me is awful! Please take a look at what is out there and trust the reviews of this place, the CYFD reports and complaints, THEY ARE TRUE!!! There are better places for your child out there!

We love this Springstone on Randolph. Left Bright Minds after a bad experience and have been very pleased.

I truly would say that this facility was one of the best places I've ever taken my children my kids have learned a lot in the year-and-a-half that they went to the school and I can't be more happier as a parent. Today was their last day and of course I got teary-eyed but I was a little surprised that some of the staff were kind of like whatever

SpringStone Montessori Schools are family owned and have been in operation for over 35 years in four states. SpringStone is very strong academically, concentrating in areas of study essential for positive outcomes in public schools and higher education. Staff/child ratios are lower than licensing requirements and set SpringStone apart from other early learning environments. Using Montessori curriculum, children are able to choose areas of learning that interest them, including math, reading, music, dramatic performance, sports and more. By introducing areas of study and then allowing each child to choose paths of learning, children discover they have interests in areas they were previously unfamiliar with. SpringStone children move at their own pace; a pace that many times accelerates their learning beyond chronological age. Children excel when they receive positive reinforcement for their work; an essential component at SpringStone Montessori Schools. I have three grandchildren attending SpringStone Montessori Schools.

The school is one of the most expensive childcare sites in town. We were led to believe that the cost is due to them upholding Montessori standards and because they have several polices to ensure excellent care (set child to teacher ratios; set policies on when each child is moved from one room to another; set caretakers for each room). However, while our son was there these policies were often broken. The kids would be put in different rooms due to short staffing. The child to teacher ratio was not upheld on a regular basis. In addition, there were often teachers/floaters left alone in the rooms beyond the set caretakers that were assigned to that room.

Great Daycare! My wife and I had our two children here some time ago and had to leave because we moved. However, we loved it there and our children did too! They have great community activities, like game night for halloween, where the kids dress up, play games and eat delicious food! They also have a parent's night out every month. The staff is great too! Last, Amy was really wonderful in managing the classrooms and integrating our children during transitional periods.

My child went to this school for a year and I wish I brought her earlier. The staff are welcoming and since day one, already knew my child by name. I received daily updates on what my child ate and learned that day, and was always informed on latest school updates. Safe environment with creative and organized play/learning stations.

We love springstone! We have our two children in for the past 6 month's. They are almost 2 yo and 8 mo. They communicate with us very well and respectfully. Our daughter loves Miss.Gabby and Miss. Jaden, she gets very excited to get there and see all her friend's! Miss. Adele and Miss. Laura are very good and patient with our son. They helped us thru all his formula and food allergies.

I am now ruined when it come to care for my daughter. We love and miss Springstone on Randolph! My husband's job took us away from Albuquerque, and I have to say that I miss Springstone just as much as my family from Albuquerque. This is because they became our family. My daughter is constantly pouting and saying, "I miss my old school!" And looking for a new place is next to impossible now because nowhere is as good as the place we left. And this is specifically for the Randolph location, as we tried Rio Rancho for a while because it was closer... and then ended up back at Randolph, driving the extra 30 +/- minutes just to feel back at home at our favorite school with our favorite people. We miss you all!

My daughter has gone to Springstone since she was one years old. We LOVED Mrs. Sandy. She is so kind and is always willing to go above and beyond to help the kids. We now have Mrs. Diane, who is so kind hearted and caring. I can relax knowing that she is happy with Mrs. Diane while she has to be away from me. My daughter talks about Mrs. Diane and kids for hours after she gets home. I know that she is in good hands and is being taken care of well when she is at Springstone.
