I'm really sorry to read about the bad experiences that the previous reviewers had. My son is currently enrolled at Sandia Montesorri. He attended last year for kindergarten in Ms. Jamie's class and this year in Ms. Debra"s class for 1st grade. I could not be happier with the education and staff. My son has behavior issues as well, but his classes are structured and small. The teachers are attentive and always keep me informed of his progress. I've never felt like he wasn't getting enough attention or negative attention. Academically, he is right were he should be and he loves his teachers and classmates. He's excited about going to school and he talks endlessly about the interesting topics they are studying. The Director has worked with us many times and I have always found her to be polite. If you are looking for small class size and great elementary level teachers I would highly recommend this school.

Ms Gabby and Ms. Jhoana have been our daughter’s teachers for the past two years now. Our daughter's behavior at home is exactly what a parent could hope for, and we give credit to these two teachers. The other half goes to the parents :-). No foul language, no rough play or pretend killing, and she's never come home with an injury. Great childcare, and a great education as well. We only have good things to say about this Montessori school.

I have recently had a terrible experience with this school. After months of working with the staff of the school and a therapy group to assist with my son's delays, my son continued to not meet their standards to move to the next class. My son is autistic. They were aware of his delays. They had his IEP on file. However, they continued to take our money and not live up to their promises. We had hope that they would assist us in potty training (as purported to on their website), however they were "too busy" with two other kids who were potty training. I was furious. After bringing up potty training to the lead teacher of the 2-year old classroom, I was blindsided with a meeting in which they informed me that they didn't think they could handle my son. The next day (a Thursday) I was informed that they had decided to disenroll him, though he could stay for one last week...yet they had already packed up all his stuff for me. I was distraught. We did not stay the week. I took my son home. For weeks, I had to reassure him that he was a good boy and that it wasn't his fault that he could no longer go play with his friends. He had been at this school for over 9 months.

My daughter started at the school when she was 2 1/2. We only left because we moved out of state. We loved this school. Vicki the director h every child's name and made it a point to say goodbye to all of us at the end of the school day. We loved her teachers, Miss Sherena was professional and so sweet. My daughter really flourished in this school. The school and class sizes are small. I always felt like my daughter was safe and loved when she was there. Miss Vicki and Miss Sherena were very helpful alleviating any concerns we had and the school felt like a second family to us.
