My daughter (Ruhi R Patel) loves her school ,(TLE Piscataway.) Ms Micella White is a great director my daughters best friend my daughter loves Ms micella . She is caring and always tries to accommodate the parents. My daughter is 4 years old, she started when she was 3 years with Ms. Amanda She was so attentive. It is amazing how much my daughter has learned at TLE. Great teachers.

The teachers to kids ratio is not maintained, if your kid is active this is not the place for him/her. Owner is inexperienced and arrogant. I took out my kid enrolled in another child care. It has been a year, he is learning and happy kid now.

We joined TLE Piscataway very shortly after they opened, and my sons have flourished there. My older son is reading well above grade level, and my younger son (age 4½) just read his first book last week. The teachers and management there are top notch, and truly care about the children as individuals, the facility is bright, well maintained, and always immaculate, and the curriculum is top notch. If you are in Piscataway and are looking for a child care facility your search has ended - welcome home!

Love this school!! The staff and teachers are the sweetest. My Son gratuated from this preschool and now my daughter just started this year and loves going. Teachers are really education focused and spend that extra time with the kids to make sure they get every subject area. Highly recommend it!!

TLE at Piscataway has been providing a great enviroment to my 4 year old son Ansh (Preschool 1). Their curriculum is excellent and I do feel he is learning a great ton with advance skill sets. They keep him challenged on different levels with the curriculum which touches on a wide range of subjects: from Spanish, to Marvelous Math to Social skills to Geography; and more. My only concern was how often the teachers rotate in class. However, looks like the class is now set with Miss Kelsey who is absolutely great! I feel she connects with each student, takes true interest in observing their performance in class; and in relaying the same to the parent. She has true patience to deal well with the kids and they all seem to love her. Also the director, Miss Marcela is awesome! She is very motherly and seems to know every student in her school. The rest of the staff and management are wonderful as well. As a parent, I am very happy with TLE and would continue sending Ansh there till he is ready to go to KG. He loves all his friends at TLE.

When I decided to put my son and daughter in pre-school I researched countless centers in the area. I was looking for a safe and compassionate environment focused on academic and social growth. Each time I walked into a center for my tour, my number one thought was- am I comfortable leaving my children here all day while I go to work, will they get the attention they deserve? Although each visit was a positive experience, I did not find that sense of comfort and confidence until I walked into The Learning Experience. During my initial visit, I met with the owners and the Director. Mr. Deepak, Mr. Vik, and Mrs. Micella are an amazing team, I immediately felt their passion for providing a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for the children. Their teacher, Ms. Maria is also amazing, she has taught them so much in the short time they have been there. Her focus on and dedication to teaching the children academic and social skills is something I can see on a daily basis when I pick them up. Every day they have a fun new experience to share with me on the ride home. Additionally, they truly care for your child and are extremely patient, attentive, and compassionate. It is a hard decision to leave your children in the care of someone else, but the fact that they want to “stay just a few more minutes when I go to get them” lets me know that I made the right choice. I would highly recommend The Learning Experience to anyone looking for the perfect pre-school for their child.

I would definitely recommend Tle. My son went here for Pre-K and summer camp and he loved it. They have a great curriculum and he learned so much this past year. They really prepare the kids well for kindergarten. His teacher Ms.Addie was great you can really tell that she cares for all the students. Summer camp was also a lot of fun, every week they have fun trips and a lot of interesting activities

(While this is a well-deserved five-star review, please note the concerns I discuss below about the ratios in the Prepper classroom) Our son received great, loving care at TLE, first in North Brunswick and then, after we relocated, in Piscataway. Both branches are owned by the same family and their operations are closely intertwined, and they made the move very easy. My review here is based on our son’s care in the infant room at North Brunswick (from 3 months of age to 15 months) and then the toddler, twaddler, and prepper rooms in Piscataway (15-24 months, 24-29 months, and 29-33 months, respectively). We found these two TLEs to be wonderful places, filled with loving carers who did their best to accommodate parents and discover how to help the kids thrive. As one example: we used cloth diapers with our son, and despite never having done so before, the staff agreed to use them in school (they followed the exact same 14-step diaper change protocol they always use, but put the dirty diapers in a bag we gave them instead of the trash). As another example, when our son was going through various phases (the “mine” phase, for instance), the staff not only reassured us that it was all normal, but also gave us strategies for how they’d succeeded in overcoming the issues in school, which we could then use at home. Our son learned so much—sign language, social skills, manners, songs, games, how to eat sensibly (the teachers in the infant room got him to drink out of a bottle and then a sippy cup when no one else could!). Not to mention numbers (in English and Spanish!) and words and shapes and all sorts of other stuff. And the variety of activities was delightful (yoga, music, and the truly delightful “Make-Believe Boulevard”). TLE was also wonderfully flexible: when a family health crisis meant I needed my son to start daycare earlier than contracted, they enrolled him early. When we got stuck in terrible traffic and had to pick him up late, the ladies stayed with him and were very understanding. The App was also awesome: I loved getting updates throughout the day (sometimes with pictures!) about what my son was doing. We loved our time at TLE, up until our son moved into the Prepper classroom. The teachers were still outstanding, but there were not enough of them. In the infant classroom, the ratio was 4 children to 1 carer. In the Toddler classroom it was 5-1. In the Twaddler classroom, it was 6-1. All good. But when he moved up to the Prepper classroom, the ratio went up to 10-1. And the kids in this classroom are supposed to be working on potty training and the rudiments of writing (so they sit and do workbooks a few times every day). So in practice, you had ten kids sitting around a table watching one of their classmates work with the teacher on a workbook, while the other teacher took the kids to the bathroom or did another activity. Our son had a rough transition: about a month of being emotionally exhausted in the evenings because he’d had to sit still so much during the day, we think. While the situation has since been ameliorated with the addition of a third permanent teacher to the Prepper classroom (yay!), this change occurred about three months after I and other parents expressed our concerns, and in the meantime, we found a non-profit daycare (through Rutgers’ Psychology program) that has 5-1 ratios along with salaried staff who have benefits, and it is about $100/month cheaper. Once again, we have had a wonderful experience at the TLE, and are grateful for the loving care our son has received. The staff are wonderfully patient and good-hearted and knowledgeable, and our whole family will miss them, even as we are excited about the lower ratios at his new school.

This is my first review ever on anything. I never write a review. But today i am doing this because i feel deeply cheated by people of TLE Piscataway. I wish had an option to give them ZERO rating. They are nothing more than money gathering agency. I went there going by the good reviews they have on google. But after i enrolled my kid i realized they are not something extraordinary as the reviews say. But i had already enrolled and my kid got adjusted so i thought its OK, we can ignore small bits. They are sweet when we go for enrolling or a tour, but the moment we enroll our kids, there way of talking and behavior changes and mainly of the administration. My biggest horrible experience came to me when we went out of states for couple of months. For that i pulled out my kid from there and gave more than 2 months notice for the same. They have a policy to credit the security deposit in the last month tuition fee but not return it. Okay.. there policy. But worst was yet to come. Even though i gave 2-3 months long notice about this, they never adjusted the amount in my kids tuition fee. And we could not come back to states due to some personal stuff, so we contacted them to get back the security deposit. first they avoided our calls for long. Finally when we spoke to Vick Patel, he was nothing but blunt and rude about it. And never returned our security deposit which was a good amount. Not returning and being arrogant and rude on this. So unprofessional and full of arrogance. I request please go to them if you have loads of extra money to throw at them and get it wasted. Seriously there are far better day cares than them, who i am sure will not back stab us like this.

The staff is professional, yet sincerely friendly. The environment is vibrant, nurturing and clean. The teachers are friendly and keep you updated on your child's progress (or sometimes...areas of improvement...not a bad thing!). I know it's effective in my son's life because he still surprises me with the new knowledge he comes home with on a daily basis. Whether it's a new sentence, writing letters and numbers or even just a newly learned song, TLE and its staff is a major reason behind his new found knowledge.

Both my children went to TLE Piscataway. Micella White is a great director. She is caring and always tries to accommodate the parents. Their extended schedule works for busy parents such as ourselves. My daughter is 4 years old, she started as an infant with Ms. Shelly. She was so attentive. Horrible! I had to pull out my 1 year old child within 2 weeks after repeated abuse from teachers and inaction from the management. They turned a blind eye towards my concerns and did not come up with concrete answers when my daughter returned home repeatedly with scratches on her body. She also contracted an eye and ear infection and high temperature while attending this facility. Multiple times I found her crying in a corner while the teachers were busy with other kids. Often, No one was tending to her. I Would absolutely warn any potential parents to think twice before considering this place for your childcare needs. I would give it zero stars, if I could.

My 3-yr son was sent to this day care because it is so close to home. The teachers keep complaining "he is hot" because my son is very active and they have to spend more time controlling him. The director even called a meeting and suggested outside therapy for my son's "problems". Considering the constant complaints I am worried about my son's safety there, so I changed to another daycare. It has been 3 months I heard no complaints but compliments from my son's new teachers. If you kids are born to be quiet and docile, send them to this Learning Experience. If your kids are active, remember the teachers and the director are not going to like it.

On an average my daughter is happy here most of the days. The classrooms are bright and the staff welcoming! They follow the policies to the T(food preferences, medications, allergy information, teacher ratio, etc.) which I'm happy about. The curriculum is good and my daughter is learning quickly(though thats not my no.1 priority its very welcome)! My only complaint with them is that the teachers are not very accommodating to parents requests. My daughter needs eye contact and direct interaction with the teacher(like she needs her teacher to call her in), every morning when I drop her off. This rarely happens and so she clings on to me and doesn't want to let go. I know that she is happy the rest of the day and that this is only a morning drop-off thing but still it pains me to see her cry every morning during drop off(Note: She goes very happily on occasions where her teacher calls her in and makes small talk). I talked to the teacher about it only to hear that she needs to learn to adjust on her own or interact with other kids. Also, I requested her teacher to make sure she drinks her water during lunch and snack time and that does not happen either so now my daughter is quiet constipated. Apart from these, overall happy about the level of care compared to other daycares around here. To the Management: Would appreciate if you install live cameras so the parents can watch their kids from anywhere.

This is an awesome place for the kids to learn. My son initially used to cry going to school, but things changed quickly under his teacher Ms.Mukthi. She did an awesome job and I will definitely recommend anyone who considers a great learning experience for their little ones!

Sia started going to TLE about 3 months ago and there has been no looking back since then. She started in the infants class and it made her super independent. All her teachers have been very supportive of her and very encouraging since it took her a bit of time to adjust being away from home. Her transition into the toddlers class was very smooth too. I see her constantly learning new things. We are very happy and satisfied with our decision to send her to TLE.

I have had two children attend the Daycare and what I learned from my previous experience with prior daycares is that the director of the Daycare matters. This Daycare has a strong director who runs a tight ship and I can see the quality of teachers that she hires and cleanliness of the school. I see the same teachers and my son is currently with a teacher that cared for my daughter who is now 8. My daughter left the Daycare knowing how to read. They work well with my family knowing that my son has food allergies and has accommodated my family by changing the menu. Another added benefit is that they are always open and very accommodating. I can address the staff/director with any concern and they respond immediately. I trust that my son is being well cared for once I leave which is the most important reason why I continue to have my son attend TLE.

My husband and I reviewed several childcare centers before our daughter was born. We chose TLE in Piscataway and have not looked back. She started at TLE at 3 months old and is now 3 years old. She has truly flourished at this great center. From Infants, Toddlers, Twaddlers, Preppers and now Preschool 1, each class builds stepping stones to the next level. The staff is top notch with a strong level of expertise and caring. Teachers like Ms. Adrienne and Ms. Mukti help my child shine under the direction of Ms Micaella, Ms. Inger, Mr. Vick and Mr. Deepak. TLE truly calmed the concerns of this first time mother!

Extremely disappointed in my first impression of this place. I had an appointment today at 4pm to do a walk through. My husband did not work overtime so he could be home to come with me and I also got a babysitter to watch our daughter. We get there at exactly 4pm. I stated I hate an appointment today and gave my name and I got a confused look where I was then told I had rescheduled my appointment. I said no I didn't reschedule anything and again said we had a scheduled appointment today. I was then told that I should have gotten an email saying that it was rescheduled. I asked why wasn't I called?! So the place decided to cancel it themselves, not have the decency to call since the email was sent to me only a few hours before my appointment. They also decided on their own to schedule it for the following week at 11am in the morning without confirming if that was an ok date and time for us. You would think that since both my husband and I were standing there at the daycare and they were the ones who screwed up, that someone there would say something like "sorry about that, let me give you some information or take you for a quick tour since you came all the way in." No, no one said anything at all like that and made it like we were in the wrong. I said thank you and that we wouldn't be back. This is a shame that's the impression you want to give. I spoke to a friend when I got home who has two children and she said she had the same experience at The Learning Experience and would not recommend the place either. We are disappointed because this place is right up the street from our jobs which would have been very convenient but glad we know ahead of time the type of place this is so we don't have to subject our daughter here.

The learning experience has been second home for mr daughter for two and a half years. Today is last day for my daughter coz she is moving to kindergarten. There has been no single day when came home complaining or crying. They took best care of my baby for all this. They have the best teachers here specially Ms. Maria, Ms. Rizza, Ms. Stefanie, Ms. Sanovia and Ms. Mukti. They have best administration team too Ms. Micella and Ms. Inger, always helpful and polite I love our little chit chat with Ms. Micella and Ms. Inger while picking up my daughter, my daughter always look for forward for how Ms. Micella compliment her dress, shoes or hair. There soo many these little we look forward every day. TLE has been like a family to us all this time. We are going miss all that soo much. I was soo happy with this place that many of my friends changed their kids day care and enrolled here. Enrolling my daughter in TLE was one of the best decisions i made from her.

wow...megyn has ZERO front desk skills for a day care. Is this a run down restaurant table booking? She shows no interest, no willingness, no eagerness to work and help parent. When she calls to cancel an online appt; not a single word of remorse or apology. She does not know how to work with a busy parent! Also, Perhaps impromptu visits are not allowed to hide a messy place or worse. No transparency. Overall, Take it or Leave it attitude for a DAY CARE where we trust them to be like a good friends with little ones.

My daughter has been attending TLE since she was 3 months old . What attracted me to TLE was the professionalism of the Director, Micella White. Ms. White has a heart for the children in the school and demonstrates it by knowing every child by name. The teachers in the infant room were amazing. Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Yeemy, and Ms. Shelley were absolutely wonderful in how they cared for not inly my daughter, but the other children as well. In the toddler room, Ms. Mabel, who was caring, loving and warm-hearted to the children, along with her staff added to a fun-learning environment. Ms. Teah who loved her "babies" offered children a positive environment that reinforced the children's positive sense of independence. The cleanliness of the school is amazing. Management ensures the upkeep of the school grounds. My daughter is currently in the Prepper 1 class. The teachers, Ms. Janet and Ms. Cassandra are awesome. They are passionate about the children they teach and are serious about educating them. They are also truly patient with the children and know how to calm them when they are upset. I also loved that Ms. Janet and Ms. Cassandra offer a structured learning environment. The teachers, Ms. Casey, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Sonovia, who assist with the children who stay after 6pm are truly caring, enthusiastic, and loving towards children. I am grateful to the school staff for all they do in edifying my daughter's intellectual and social abilities!!!!

I have been associated with TLE at this location since my daughter was 2. We have always had a very positive experience with the whole team. The owner is very friendly, accommodating and always on top of the day to the day running of the place. The director Micella is just unbelievably fabulous. She has held my hand through all the different stages of bringing up my daughter. As we all know raising a child In today’s world, with both parents having demanding careers is not easy. The school, and all the teachers we have had have been very accommodating, and always went the extra mile in caring for our daughter. With regards to academics, I feel she is more than well prepared for Kindergarten. No matter where TLE students go, their academic performance is excellent as they have a very solid base to build on. This is something I can certainly vouch for, as when my husband and I went to enroll our daughter in a preparatory school, she underwent a standardized test. Without any extra preparation, she did very well on the test, just as the school had expected. We are very lucky to have picked TLE for our daughter, and would not hesitate to do so again for our younger child.

My son is 4 years and he’s been in TLE since he was an infant. As we toured the center we were pretty nervous about leaving in care of someone other family, but the staff put me at ease and assured me that he’s in good hands. And our experience with them has been phenomenal. My child has grown up to be fine little boy, learning all the social, academical and and other essential skills needed in life. The Best part about TLE is that it’s all about the comfort of the child. They are very approachable and can be accessed anytime during the day which puts the working parent at ease. If any of you are considering day care options for young children I would strongly suggest TLE you need not look any further. Absolutely love the staff out in Piscataway!

My son started going to TLE when he was 2 and half years old and he loves it. The Management and teachers are TLE are great. With the experiences I had with my son, I have sent my daughter when she was less than 2 year old. Our family have made TLE part of our family since May 2012 (3 years), since the time TLE was opened at Piscataway. TLE at Piscataway not only make kids part of their family, but they also make Parents part of the TLE Family. Parents are always encouraged by TLE team to be part of any important activities of your kids. You see big smiles on TLE Management and Teachers when you walk in with your kid in morning; and have the same smile and activeness when we walk out with the kids in the evening. The smile and the way they greet you makes your day and you come out dropping your kids at TLE thinking they are in safe hands and will be taken care of. We love it and would encourage any parents looking for a daycare at Piscataway/Edison for their loved one (kids).

It is really hard to get even appointment for tour ...We called one time .. for get tour on same week.. they said they cannot give ... in that week... they said next week Wednesday ... we took Off for those hours ... then they called just 1 hour before .. and said that we are cancelling tour .. I asked what is the reason... they just said they cannot do....I did not see any other daycare .. doing like this... just don't respect other people time... Awful experience..

I would recommend TLE at Piscataway, NJ. My son started with Toddlers class and now has joined Twaddlers class as he finished his 2 yrs. I would like to thank the teacher at toddlers class for taking care of my son. He as learnt a lot and is learning at a very great speed. The response to your query regarding your child or anything is quick. If anything accident happens in terms of your child fell down or getting sick, you will be called immediately to give an update on your child. Overall no complains and it has been good experience so far. Oh! And the lunch program which is included in the tuition is a huge plus.

I wish I could give a ZERO...not hygenic for infants...my kid just went there for a week and got stomach virus for 3 weeks...staff is not so active...all the infants look very sad and lonely...Mangement is worst...especially the manager was very rude.

my son attended TLE Piscataway from December 2015 to August 2017. He and we had a wonderful experience. He thrived a lot and loved his teachers. Everyone is so kind and caring. They truly love the kids.

I just love this place. My son started in the toddler class and since he has been here I can see how he has grown. All this teachers are wonderful. Its nice to know that he is in the hands of such loving and caring people, makes it easier for me to leave him there (the people he spends the most amount of time with!) The entire staff is awesome!!
