TLE of Lyndhurst is hands down the best daycare for your child. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The curriculum program L.E.A.P. they use to teach the children is excellent!! The facility is extremely clean. The outside playground area is spacious for the kids to have plenty of room to run and play to release some energy. The facility also has an indoor make believe boulevard where the children can have fun playing if the weather is bad. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone!!! Tara G

My husband and I were scrambling to find a daycare for our 1 year (at the time), and we only had 2 days to do it. TLE Lyndhurst came highly recommended by a wonderful neighbor, but we were skeptical because of the reviews. We went for a tour and at first glanced the placed looked incredible. Ms. Debbie, one of the managers, gave us the tour. Aside from being super sweet, she was so thorough! She explained every in detailed and answered all our queries. The center was super clean, safe (main doors were closed at all times), all the children looked happy, all the classrooms had lots of age-appropriate toys and books, the staff seemed nice, and each classroom has a well-structured curriculum. The front area was decorated beautifully with the monthly theme, and lovely art projects made by students adorn the hallway and the classrooms. They have a cool room called the “Boulevard,” which looks like an exhibit from a children’s museum, where children can play make-believe, or watch a movie. They also have a playground in the back with slides and plenty of space for the little ones to run around. After the tour we felt really good about the place, and decided to give it a shot. First of all, we are super grateful with TLE Lyndhurst that they had the space to admit our little girl on such short notice. Secondly, we couldn’t be happier with the directors/managers and staff. Their smiles and positive attitudes make all the difference! The entire staff at TLE welcomed our daughter with open arms, and have helped her blossom extraordinarily! When our little girl first started (she was 1), she was didn’t know how to walk, and much less how to feed herself. It was a tough transition, and she did cry a lot, but Ms. Karen and Ms. Scarlett were super patient, loving and caring. We dropped in unannounced a few times, and called throughout the day, and every single time, they greeted us with a smile. Best of all, we found our daughter happy and engaged in the daily activities. Communication was really important to us, and we have really appreciated the daily letters that get sent home, detailing what our daughter has learned, what she ate, her mood that day, etc. They also put out a monthly calendar and newsletter with fun activities and celebrations. At 18 Months, our daughter was transitioned to another toddler room with Ms. Karina and Ms. Scarlett, which are hands down, the most warm, caring, kind and professional teachers at TLE. Our little girl has developed a love for art, she can feed herself, she loves to point at different things and call them by name, she loves being around other children, playing, dancing, and singing. I can go on and on about everything that she has learned, and it’s all thanks to the wonderful teachers at TLE, that stimulate her in a safe and happy environment. My husband and I leave her everyday with peace of mind, knowing that she is being cared by professional compassionate individuals. It was the best decision we have made! Thank you TLE Lyndhurst!

Best place in Bergen county! My grandson Gil Luciano goes here . He has prospered so good!! His vocabulary and smarts are way above for a child his age. His teachers, aides and front desk staff go above and beyond for the students.

My son has been at TLE since it opened in 2012. When he first started he was sick often. ( This is common when children are building their immunity) But the staff always took great care of him and always notified my promptly when he needed to be picked up. His teachers have been great and my son loves going to school here. My son has asthma and Miss Mara always takes the time out to give him his treatments when needed. This summer they took the class on field trips and my son had a great time. The center is very clean, and state of the art. they have a fabulous outdoor play area as well as a great indoor area for the kids to play. I feel better about going to work knowing that my son is in the hands of the staff at TLE Lyndhurst.

I would recommend the learning center to all parents of infants to toddlers! Such a caring staff and a great learning environment! My nephew Bobby Brummer loves everything about it.

I cannot say anything but good things about this daycare. Jessica & Debbie are both Fantastic caregivers to my son. They are incredibly knowledgeable and my son is very happy. He has learned so much! I couldn't thank you all enough.

The worst place to bring your child. It's not clean. The children are always sick. The front are not friendly or proffesional. It's too many children in one room and not enough staff. Horrible!

Great daycare with wonderful teachers!! Very accommodating hours for working parents.

My Grandson Bobby J is so happy at your school. His vocabulary is way above his age level. My son and daughter in law always speak highly of your staff and what new things he is learning. Thank you for being so helpful and supported of him and all the other children.

It's not the amazing curriculum, which teaches children ASL, foreign language, and other skills that enhance child development. It's not the great hours that accommodate working parents. It is the staff! It is the amazing people who serve the children that makes TLE so special. My daughter, in her 2+ years here at TLE has grown tremendously, intellectually and with the care the teachers provide make TLE so special. I am writing this review because as a parent you want to know that the investment you make in your child will pay dividends, and TLE pays exponentially! I am so appreciative of their support for all of the children. You never... I said NEVER see the staff upset with the children and they are amazingly patient. If you cannot tell, I love TLE.

Love this place! My son Bobby enjoys it here and we can’t wait for summer camp! Also I should add that he frequently surprises me by saying or showing me things I know I didn’t teach him (for instance, he showed me that he knows all of his shapes and various animals we have never talked about). His teachers are really excellent and we are very grateful ❤️

My son is 3.5 and has been going to TLE since he was 1.5 yrs old. Ms Corinne and ms marra are amazing and listen to all of our concerns. I never have to worry if my son is not getting enough attention or if he's not learning. All the teachers at the center are amazing. I tell everyone to check out TLE.

It has been an amazing experience so far. My daughter started here when she turned 18months, she’s 21months now. Very friendly and courteous staff. Many thanks

Clean beautiful facility with a staff that is second to none. Personally I love the layout/curriculum that preps children for a smooth transition to kindergarten/elementary school will highly recommend to anyone considering enrollment of their child. Huge play area is also a major plus in my opinion to instill physical activity in this sit and stare day and age we live in.

Now where to start with this one...My 14m old daughter was there for 4 weeks, and today we had enough. We are puling her out immediately, and she will not step a foot in that place again. First when we came, they were all nice, smiling, and friendly...When we dropped off our daughter for the first time, they were not nearly as friendly. First day, she caught a severe cold...ok kids get colds in day cares, normal thing, BUT when we saw that one of the women working in her classroom is giving her freezing cold milk from the fridge, a child that has a cold, and coughing, we warned her, and she was like...oh ok. i wasn't aware. Seriously???? Next day, freezing cold food from the fridge, without being heated up...and the same teacher again..."Oh really? We will heat it up from now on. There are a lot of kids here so we cant worry about stuff like that all the time." - No comment needed on this! Third day she got a severe diarrhea, and they were changing her dipper every 2 hours, because of which she got a very bad rash that converted into a fungal infection. After we asked multiple times, and at the end said: “You need to change her more often this is happening because of your neglect.” one of the workers there said (girl with curly red hair, cant recall the name): “If you think that we are gonna change her every 30-40 mins that is not going to happen!” I AM SORRY,WHAT???? For the money this place costs they better do what the parent asked you. This continued the whole time she was there for these 4 weeks, and people there just never cared for what we asked, or told them, or complained about. She was constantly getting worse and worse over this short period. On the weekend she would get better, we take her back there, she gets a cold, a rash, a diarrhea all over… Last straw was today when we got there to pick her up, one of the teachers said: “Oh she was not feeling well, she was coughing, unhappy, and vomited a couple of times…etc! Oh by the way, one of the infants contracted a Coxsackie virus, today, so be aware of the possible symptoms, let me give you a printout.” In translation, oh we have a Coxsackie outbreak so be on alert please. (for people who don’t know this can be a very mild viral infection, but in rare cases can be very dangerous and become very severe). Symptoms such as, sore throat, vomiting, fever, swollen and runny eyes…exactly what my daughter now has… In these 4 weeks we had to take our daughter 3 times to the doctor, stuff her with different kind of medication, and treat her for different kind of issues, which no parent should do to a child that had a cold once in 14m since she was born. Now i don’t know what they are doing there, but i know one thing, they definitely miss the CARE in their facility. On top of that all, very rude staff, unprofessional and obviously without any knowledge of how to take care of these kids. If you love your child, and I’m sure you do, more than anything, keep it out of this place. Don’t even drive by it since there might be another viral infectious disease waiting around the corner, and the staff will professionally not care! 10/15 - An addition, and follow up on my review above. My daughter is hospitalized for pneumonia, and is a needle cushion for the hospital staff right now. This is what trusting these people with my child got me. Stay away in a wide circle from this place!!!!!!! If there would be less than 1 star i would give it!!!

My son has been attending this daycare since he was 18 months (now 3). I can say I am very pleased with the care that the teachers provide the kids. There was a time period where they had some difficulty keeping teachers but in the past 6-8 months, I have seen a huge improvement with turnover. The management team there is always so accommodating and caring. They have done a great job fixing any concern I have ever brought to their attention. I would recommend this school to other parent!

I have the worst experience with this day care. Classroom smells horrible all day. Kids have a running nose and nobody cared to wipe them. The worst part is the accidents - you'll never get truth out. PULL YOUR KIDS OUT FROM T HIS PLACE!!!!

Vin Rahner

We've had our son enrolled here since he was 1 1/2 yrs old, he is now 3 1/2. The center is really clean and the teachers are great. The management really listens to the concerns that parents may have and produce results from these concerns. My son gets the attention that he needs for his growth at such a critical learning age. We recommended this center to everyone that we speak to that is looking for daycare for their children!

Angela Magro

Not an easy thought to put your child in day care but this place hands down was the easiest once I walked in... Starting from the front desk to every teacher so far I am beyond happy with my decision. If you are looking for a school to start your child in look no further!

We had horrible experience here. Teachers will smile at you and say hi to you but some of them are not responsible at all. They don't care about the kids. My kid got sick at this place all the time and I am glad we are not going there anymore.

Lewis Camacho

Great people and very accommodating. My 17month old is doing wonderfully.

I finally have time to leave feedback on this daycare. This TLE is consistently under staffed and I've heard from other parents that the state was called on multiple instances because they are under staffed. There WERE good teachers but the problem is that when you find a good teacher they seem to be gone a few moths later leaving your kid under the care of someone else who doesn't even care at all. A lot of the workers are not very welcoming and the TLE is more of an outside appearance with no care on the inside for the kids. They don't find a problem collecting your money but when you ask questions or have any concerns how the classrooms and place is being managed they leave you in the dark. We ended up pulling our child from there and haven't looked back. We strongly suggest that you take the time to know what kind of people your kid is being left with and observe how this place is being ran. FYI - if you read the first review from Corrine, a so called "parent", please realize that this is THE OWNER who left a fake review to boost the ratings of this place which I find both disturbing and sad. Now I'm curious if the other reviews were from made up accounts or her workers that were advised to write positive reviews so they wouldn't lose their "business". This about your kids well being and not about the money.

The center has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. I love the fact the director, managers and teachers are open for any questions or concerns. My kids feel loved in this place.

My daughter has been going here for almost 4 years now and she loves it! She has made so many friends and enjoys her regular teachers as well as other teachers who she randomly hugs as we walk through the halls lol. If I ever have any questions or concerns the teachers and directors on-site have always interacted very well with me to resolve any concerns and answer any questions. I would recommend for your little ones

This is the best daycare we could’ve picked for our daughter. She’s been attending since August and I started seeing such a positive change on her behavior in terms of schedules, manners and just her learning in general. I visited a few other daycares the same day, but the way I was welcomed by the director Debbie and Jessica was incomparable, they very polite and made us feel we belong there. We love how much our daughter loves her teachers Ms. Karina and and Ms. Scarlet (they are awesome), and everyone in general. All staff members are very knowledgeable and caring for all the kids. Everyday, when I pick her up, I walk out with a smile in my face knowing I made the right decision by enrolling my daughter here. Thank you all, we appreciate all you do.

Honestly.. I wouldn't be able to say anything negative about this place.. everybody is so helpful.. deb, jess and miss Bianca are the best, but Mrs. NINA... we absolutely love her and can't wait for her to look after our new addition..

Our daughter has attended TLE of Lyndhurst since she was 1 year old and is now headed towards Preschool there. The staff has always listened to us & taken care of our daughter within the best of their ability. We regularly use their early hours (6:30a) and late pickup (6:30p) and they are more than accommodating with any issue that arises. Highly recommended.

No regrets!!! I put my son at learning experience when he was almost one and we have continued his care and educations at TlE since then. TLE has my heart when it comes to care for my son. The teachers do a great job at handling the kids and the management Debbie and Jessica are great . I have dealt with Debbie since day one she is an amazing person and director . I am so glad to have found such a caring and great place for my son

I've toured several preschools and daycares in the area this summer looking for a program for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. this was by far my worst experience. The director was not friendly or welcoming at all and did not even speak to or introduce herself to my child. She was unable to provide any literature or information on the curriculum that the school uses. She did not know if there was any discounts for teachers (as I am a kindergarten teacher and many other LEs offer educator discounts). The classroom we visited was small and had cheap toys versus sturdy, durable learning materials and manipulatives. There were about 11 children at the time I visited and they were sitting 5 to a table eating lunch with 1 child eating alone at a separate table/desk. The children were not talking to each other nor were the teachers interacting with the children during this time. One teacher was getting mats ready for rest time and the other was writing on a clipboard. Possible parent notes which is acceptable to me to do that during down time of lunch but I would have liked to hear some music in the background or at least 1 of the teachers engaging the children in conversation. When I asked the director why the 1 student was sitting and eating alone, she simply said I don't know. She did not ask the teachers or go any further. I then asked what the discipline policy was and she said positive reinforcement and redirecting. This child clearly looked like he had been in trouble and was sitting by himself as a result. This is unacceptable to me for this age and especially unacceptable if you tell me your discipline philosophy is redirection. None of the staff seemed welcoming, warm or friendly to myself or my child. I would not be able to sleep at night sending my child there.
