We love the Growing Place Nursery School. Everyone there - teachers and administrators - are friendly, professional, and great at their jobs. I feel confident that my daughter is receiving a top notch start to her education. She has already learned so much! She will be more than prepared for kindergarten. Her classroom teachers run an excellent curriculum and are wonderfully communicative with parents. My daughter is a tad shy and the staff really helped her to adjust earlier this year, as it was her first time away from home. We are extremely happy with our choice at the Growing Place.

My daughter has been a student at The Growing Place for 2 years now. There are so many wonderful things to say about the school and the education that they provide for the children. As a mother of a very shy little girl the most important thing to me is that the school offers a warm and nurturing environment for children to learn. The children are greeted everyone morning with smiling faces and cheery spirits. The teachers have an amazing ability to make the children feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. I would recommend The Growing Place to any looking for an amazing learning environment for their little ones.

My daughter is in her 2nd year at The Growing Place. It was the only pre school I looked at. After touring the school I knew I didn't want to look anywhere else & signed my daughter up. The staff is very caring and they have a passion for teaching our kids. I consider the school family. They let the kids express their creativity. My daughter has grown both socially and mentally. She loves going to school as well as telling me all about what she learned that day(which is a lot). The field trips to the zoo and pumpkin picking are a lot of fun. We also enjoy the movie nights and the holiday plays/activities. I would highly recommend The Growing Place!!!

The Growing Place has been an amazing experience for my two children. My son is finishing his 3rd school year and my daughter has been there for 1 year. The teachers are nothing short of incredible! I have watched my son blossom both academically and socially, especially this last year. I feel extremely confident that he is well prepared in every aspect for Kindergarten. His teacher has kept me well informed all year long so I can reinforce at home what they are doing in school. My daughter had some trouble adjusting to a school environment at first, but the teachers were absolutely incredible with her. They made her feel comfortable and welcome, and catered to her individual needs since the class size is so small. I highly recommend The Growing Place!

The Growing Place did a real disservice to our preschool son and we cannot recommend such a poorly managed program and inexperienced teaching staff. We pulled him out before his experience with school became a negative one. Send your little ones elsewhere!!!

Both my daughters attended The Growing Place. One in 2010/11 for a single year in the 4 year old program and my youngest for all three years of preschool starting in 2011 at age 2 and finishing in 2014 at age 5. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us. My girls learned so much and made such great friends, making the transition to kindergarten an easy one. I was comfortable knowing my children were always in good hands in a safe and nurturing environment. If I had a third child, I know where s/he would attend preschool!!

I would highly recommend the Growing Place for preschool. My son attended the school last year and now my daughter attends this year too. The Growing Place has such a warm and safe environment. It really is like a big family. The teachers are wonderful, patient and kind. They really work hard to help your child succeed. I LOVE this school! The teachers and staff are amazing. My two oldest sons have gone from the 2's to the 4's in this school and I can't say enough how well prepared they have been for kindergarten. It's an amazing program that transitions your child each year to the next level. My littlest one is starting in the fall and I can't wait to see him grow at such a warm and nurturing environment for his first school. I couldn't be happier!

My daughter is half way through the 3 year old Teddy program and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the school. Her teacher is attentive to the students emotional and educational needs, creative with the lesson plans and has done a great job encouraging my daughter socially and mentally. The school has an active Parents group for fundraising and bringing in educational programs and field trips for all classes. The school consistently has a full classroom and waiting list because it is known by parents in the community as being a wonderful school and it delivers. My daughter is excited everyday to attend school, something she was not the previous year at another preschool. We have seen a positive difference in how she plays among her peers and in her education, like being able to write her name at 3 1/2. I happily recommend the Growing Place to every parent I meet and have yet to know of a dissatisfied parent.

The Growing Place offers a wonderful nurturing and academic three-year preschool program starting at age 2. The school has a stellar reputation for pre-Kindergarten preparation, and with top-notch teachers and staff, it's no surprise why. Our eldest child (age 4) is currently in her second year at the Growing Place. She has already learned so much in this second year, we cannot wait to see what her third and final year brings to her young, developing mind. Our middle child (age 2) will kick-off his preschool career at the Growing Place this fall. While it's his first time away from home, we know he will be in a caring and stimulating environment to help ease that transition and foster growth.

We love The Growing Place! Our daughter has been there for 3 years and we have seen so much growth in that time. We feel she is more then ready for Kindergarten! The teachers are excellent. Starting in the 2 year old class, we have watched her grow in the school, and the teachers and program have grown with her in a way that is appropriate for her age and needs at each stage. They focus on the whole child and all aspects of their growth, both academic and social. They care for each child and work hard with the parents to give each student exactly what they need to flourish in a school environment. The Director is amazing with the children and motivates them to want to learn. She is amazing in getting the children ready for Kindergarten with reading and math skills, she truly has a gift. My daughter loves school and is excited to enter Kindergarten. We will be sending our twins there when they are old enough!

There are not enough positive words that I can say about The Growing Place. We moved here in August 2012 and I was looking for a preschool for my son, then 3. A friend recommended The Growing Place and we enrolled our son in the 3s program 3 days a week. All the staff was so loving and caring and my son was welcomed and very quickly and happily fell into the school routine. By the end of the year he was writing his name, singing ABCs and making friends. He is now in the 4s program and loves it even more! He goes 5 days a week (which is something I was looking for) and the small group sessions 2 days a week are wonderful. He can read words, count to 100 (with minimal help) and write his full name! I am very impressed with the curriculum and, even though he is a September birthday, I feel that he will be more than ready for Kindergarten in the Fall. Thank you Demet and all the staff for being so caring and treating my son like one of your own!

With three kids, we have experienced several nursery schools and the Growing Place is hands down our favorite. The staff has is warm and loving, but also implements a solid curriculum for learning. Kids that transition from The GP to kindergarten, are consistently prepared, emotionally and academically. This is our first year at the Growing Place for our 3/4 year old and we are very pleased so far. Our older daughter attended a large well-respected preschool in Montclair before we moved to Kinnelon and the smaller environment is much more nurturing and she receives more individual attention from the teachers. Class sizes are small with the 2 year olds having only 7 children and the older classes with approximately 14. The curriculum includes lots of music, creative crafts as well as storytime, ABCs and 123s. I've seen my daughter's academic qualities skyrocket since September and she is also building great socialization skills. The teachers are very warm and create a safe and loving environment. A great first step from home to school. There are also many visits from local businesses and field trips. The school also does special holiday celebrations that are just precious. Every school morning my daughter is super excited to go to school which is so great to see!

The Growing Place has been such a wonderful experience for us and our children. The teachers treat each student like one of their own - providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for them to learn in. They are extremely sensitive to each child's needs, fostering their strengths and working through their weaknesses. Our girls have thrived there and I will truly be sad when our youngest graduates and our years at the school are over. We are more than confident that our oldest is academically and emotionally prepared to attend Kindergarten in the fall and we couldn't be happier!
