I have been at Cedar Hill Prep School for over 5 years and it has truly been amazing. I have grown and matured here in the best possible way. I know I can always go to my teachers for help, and the teachers are ALWAYS willing to help me. The school has helped me gain a better understanding about the world around me. For example, I have friends from all over the world. I have friends whose ancestors are from India, Greece, Puerto Rico, Africa and China. In fact, a very close friend of mine(who goes to Cedar Hill Prep School) moved the US from China. This year, Cedar Hill Prep School introduced sports teams as well as many extra cubs. This helps the students understand more about the world. I will be going the high school next year, and I am truly happy for going the Cedar Hill Prep School.

ZERO STAR! The school thinks itself academically rigorous because of the volume of work and non-US based curriculum. MOST of the teachers are NOT certified. Advertisements say "certified teachers" because there are a few. There are no extracurricular activities at the school. They sometimes hire outside vendors to come in and do things with the children for additional fees. No musical instrument program. No choice of language. No computer curriculum. No sports teams. Children are discouraged from (and often punished for) outside activities. Children are disciplined and chastised in a way that a local psychologist found appalling and dangerous. There is a lack of transparency about school decisions that affect the children like class placement and funding sources. It is a punitive environment for any child who has an expression akin to western culture. Docile, science and tech students will fit in well with the culture. If you want a well rounded child this is not the place. Oh, and not everyone pays tuition. To get SOME children to stay they cut deals in exchange for good PR.

I went to this school for all of middle school and I cannot be happier. I currently attend the first private high school of New Jersey and everyone asks me what school I came from a and I am proud to say Cedar Hill Prep. I am an accomplished student with straight A's, I play tennis and soccer, participate in some drama events at my school, and am very socially active. I have completed successfully in national and state level competitions at CHP. I attended the NATIONAL LEVEL under the tutelage of Cedar Hill Prep's amazing staff. I am still in contact with my teachers in CHP and even in high school they still help me. Cedar Hill Prep supports its alumni all throughout their lives. CHP isn't for everyone, but if you are interested in your children having a good job, getting into a good college, and being successful and surrounded by intelligent peers CHP is the best thing that will ever happen to you.

CHP is a pretty awesome school. I have been there since pre-k. They DO have sports, not many, but they have soccer and basketball. They have extra-curricular activities, like debate, dance, sports, and reading clubs. They now have a newsletter club, even though I have left this school, it's pretty great. The music teacher has great ways of teaching too. The small environment allows children to get more attention from the teachers.

We are extremely happy with Cedar Hill Prep (CHP). We have been part of the CHP family for over two years now, and have seen significant change in our kids. Our son has become more confident, competitive and has positively changed in his overall personality. Our daughter loves the school and adores the wonderful teachers who can perfectly relate to her and are always available to help . I think CHP really prepares kids for the future and provides them with an enriching school experience.

Our daughter has been a part of the CHP family since Pre-K. She is currently an eighth grader and CHP has become a second family not only for her, but also for us. All the teachers are very knowledgeable, sincere, dedicated, and ensure that the students thoroughly understand the concepts that are being taught in class. We have always been able to get an immediate and helpful response from all teachers any time we sent an email or had any questions. The Administration is always available no matter what the circumstances, and ever ready to discuss any matters or help the kids with anything. The school encourages the students to be part of the many clubs and sports teams. Our daughter is part of the soccer and basketball team and an active member of the various clubs of CHP. This has enabled our daughter to grow up as a well-rounded young individual. We are extremely satisfied with the level of education our daughter is gaining and she is very happy at CHP. We are truly blessed to be part of this wonderful community!

Last year, we were indeed fortunate to have discovered Cedar Hill Prep school for my daughter . She is now 4 years old. The school’s well-researched programs have helped my daughter actualize her potential in multiple ways: cognitively, physically and emotionally. Cedar Hill uses developmentally appropriate practices inclusive of emerging literacy, weekly show and tell presentations and a wide variety of programs such as second language learning, music instructions and stage appearance opportunities have provided my child with first hand rewarding experiences. From the first day of school my daughter has adapted so easily into the school. She feels like this is her second home. The school truly has an open door policy with the teachers, principal and management. The teachers know every single child in the class & as a parent I know that my daughter is in safe hands. The school’s emphasis on parent teacher interaction is a thing we love. CHP and it’s teachers are the best thing to have happened in the last year to my daughter. Over the past year, we as a family have seen her grow into a confident 4 year old. We are so excited about her future here @CHP. Thank you Cedar Hill Prep!

Cedar Hill Prep is an amazing school. There are no other words to describe it. I joined the school back in October of 2014 after troubles in my public school and I never looked back. Even though it was a fair distance away (about 1 hr and 15 minutes), our family managed to make it work. At Cedar Hill Prep, you are pushed to your fullest potential in everything you do. I grew so much in 2 years, it astounds me to even think about it. The quality of education is so high at this school that it proves it to be a top 10% New Jersey school. Besides this, you get many chances to try something new. I know that many of my friends were given the chance to participate in sports. I went the other way and acted at the Shakesperience Festival by Rider University. Also, the robotics team just won World Championship in Germany. All of these opportunities were given to the students through the school to help encourage growth. Within the school, many activities occur. House competitions help the older kids to bond with the younger ones. On Jr. Olympics, we dress up in our house colors and support the athletes. During Academic Bowl, we listen carefully to see if our house is able to come up with the correct answer. All of the events have a way of helping us bond. Yet, the school is nothing without its teachers. I have learnt so much just from my teachers that it is impossible to repay them for all their knowledge. Everyone is friendly and encouraging. It's a little community at CHP. I am so sad that I am leaving Cedar Hill Prep for high school. However, I am comforted by the fact that I have a multitude of lessons/tips and a support group to fall back on. If you are able to make it work, please enroll in this school. You won't regret it. I know I didn't.

My son has attended Cedar Hill Prep for the past two years and is now going into 7th grade. It has been an excellent choice for him. He is nurtured, encouraged, and motivated. I have found the teachers to be dedicated, attentive and supportive . Teachers are always ready to answer questions, provide feedback, and updates on his progress at any time. My son is on the school soccer team, and also participates in the Debate Club. Academically, it has been everything that I wished for him, and he is thriving, gained confidence, and performs very well. His fellow students are friendly and I have never heard of bullying or the like. Expectations are high . I cannot think of any cons. My son loves his school.

Cedar Hill Prep is on of the most amazing schools I've ever been to. They work their their students hard, but effectively, preparing them for the world. It is Pre-K through 8.
