waste of money. passive aggressive teachers. children bully each other and teachers allow it. children are unsupervised in the woods. weak curricula.

OMG! High school sucks. The teachers said I need tutoring and that uvws taught me wrong. Everyone in AP classes went to public school! Why would you spend all that money to send your kid to uvws?

Their early childhood (3 - 6 years of age) is wonderful. Our kids enjoy their time there. They are treated with care and reverence. They learn lots of songs, hand work and enjoy a lot of outdoor time no matter what season. While we haven't experienced Waldorf education beyond kindergarten, we highly recommend their early childhood program!

Our family had a wonderful experience at UVWS and would recommend that anyone curious see for themselves what a wonderful refuge this school has managed to carve out of a fast-paced, tech driven world. Our son is doing very well in high school after his years at UVWS and seems to be enjoying a good balance between a healthy social life and challenging academics now that he has entered into public school.
