The Goddard School is AMAZING and worth every penny! my 5 years old daughter LOVE it. Everyone is really friendly professional and taking care of the kids with a lot of love and education. we are highly recommend the Goddard School.

We have entrusted The Goddard School with the care and instruction of our children for more than 2 years now. We started there following a recommendation from a friend and will say, with no hesitation, that the school has exceeded our expectations in every way. Most importantly, the lesson structure and manner in which the kids learn and progress is un-matched. We find ourselves often crediting the teachers & staff at The Goddard School for the relatively rapid development, in all walks of life, of our kids. Additionally, the regular communications and daily updates (with photo's included) are a fantastic value add. We'd highly recommend The Goddard School to anyone considering it.

The Goddard school has an amazing, well balanced curriculum that makes learning fun and interesting for the kids. The owner, teachers, and staff are very creative and put a lot of effort into everything they do! The school has great spirit and is beautifully decorated. At the Goddard School the kids are learning math, reading, art, science and music, etc. all based on a common theme while playing, singing, and doing "cool stuff" all day! Best choice for full day private Kindergarten!

We have been a Goddard family for close to three years and couldn't imagine having our children in better hands elsewhere. The best part about the Goddard School in Derry, NH is that the entire staff (the owner, Directors, lead teachers, and assistants) knows my children (now ages 4 and 5) and the fact that my children are siblings. They also know my husband and I as well as others allowed to pick my children up. My children love it there and have learned so much and are well prepared for the next stage of their lives. As a parent, I have always felt very comfortable leaving my children in the care of staff of the Goddard School while my husband and I commuted to our jobs in Massachusetts. The school is also very accommodating to children with special needs. Throughout the years when my son needed additional therapists, the Goddard School welcomed his therapists to work with him in the classroom.

As new parents my wife and I struggled with the thought of leaving our daughter in the hands of someone else, yet alone, people we didn't know. We knew we couldn't expect our family to commit to watching her while we worked, it just did not seem fair to do that even though the offers were there, so daycare it was! We researched local area day care centers and even followed through with recommendations about other centers until we found the Goddard School in Derry. We could not be any happier. Of course, as many of you would probably agree, one of our biggest concerns was that of our child's safety. From the moment you enter the Goddard school you will see to your right and left there are 2 large office windows with staff members constantly being aware of who enters and exits all day long. Next, you need to enter your own individual code in the palm scanner and have your palm scanned prior to unlocking the secured door into the main part of the school. Immediately upon seeing this our concerns regarding her general safety were put to rest. You will also learn that it doesn't take the staff long to recognize who it is that comes and goes on a regular basis and who doesn't. The other notable fact is that the outside playground doors are locked at all times and there is no way someone could get into that area without being let in by a teacher. Our second concern was that of an unexpected medical emergency. I was happy to hear that all staff members are first aid and CPR certified and that there are Epi-pens on the premises should the need arise. They have a well placed protocol for certain medical emergencies and this was explained and shown to us at our initial meeting with the director. A lot of the teachers have college degrees in Early Childhood Development, or a similar focus, and many that don't have these degrees have been in the childcare field for a very long time. They are not only very good at what they do but you can, without a doubt, see how much they genuinely love doing what they do. My daughter has certainly bonded with the teachers and I continue to be amazed at how well they take care of and truly care about her. Any question or concern is quickly addressed and they are always available to the parents. They provide the children with a warm and nurturing environment for learning and follow a specific curriculum for achieving certain milestones. Some day care centers we saw basically let the kids play in an unorganized fashion all day. The Goddard school is much more of a school than a day care center in that regard. I can't say enough about how wonderful the teachers are at the Goddard school and how they really make the school what it is. Dropping my daughter off each day I leave knowing that she will be safe, she will learn and she will be loved. How can you ask for anything more? If you're reading this review because you are looking for a daycare to send your child to the Goddard school in Derry is THE place. JSB

The Goddard school in Derry is amazing! Both my children attend, and we are extremely happy! The teachers are always warm and welcoming with my children. Also, the curriculum they implement on a daily basis is fantastic! I love being able to see the curriculum come to life with the pictures the teachers send me! I was very impressed with the Goddard school as it shows as a very high quality, high standards learning environment. I loved seeing the pictures throughout the day of my child, as well. Although, after enrolling I observed a very chaotic classroom and atmosphere. The curriculum and different activities was an awesome plus, but I noticed that they were not followed through most days. Upon arriving to school and picking up, teachers would talk disrespectfully to each other about other children while laughing and talking about their desire to go home rather than engaging with the children. A few select teachers were very short and disinterested when I would try to talk to them about my child’s day(after asking them first every time.) Honestly, they sounded friendly enough, except their body language and facial expressions were less than amused. The people in the office sounded very dishonest and catty when speaking to them, too. Overall, if you are looking for a structure and routine where you can see a picture of your child or children throughout the day, this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are better quality schools with passionate and professional teachers that are close to Southern New Hampshire, as well.

As a working mom, I can't begin to explain the Peace of Mind I have, while my children are in great hands at the Goddard School in Derry. They are safe, nurtured, stimulated, and loved there. I know, because it shows when I am with them and my kids tell me. All my 3 daughters have been students of Goddard and I have been beyond pleased. Not to mention, the accommodating staff and the management are just down right good people.

It has been a year since I dropped off my 4 month old daughter in the Infant Room for the very first time. The Goddard School and the Infant Room teachers have become part of our family in a way we could never have imagined. They love and care for our Lucy in such amazing and reassuring ways. She is so excited each morning to see her teachers and to play with her friends. She has learned so much over the last year from her teachers. It is so wonderful when Lucy comes home and does something new and great which she learned that day. She is always so proud! My husband and I travel a lot for work and the Goddard School has been wonderful in keeping in touch with us while on the road with pictures and always there to take our calls when we want to check in. As a first time mom, the Goddard School has continues to be open and transparent when addressing any questions I have. The teacher in the Infant Room work very hard to make sure Lucy’s schedule at school and at home mirror each other. The Goddard School in Derry has been such a great additional to our family and we can’t wait to see the other ways in which our daughter continues to blossom in their Infant program.

We are so thankful we found the Goddard School in Derry. We toured many different schools before deciding that the Goddard School is where our Daughters (daughter at the time) would benefit the most. We have met so many wonderful teachers over the last 4 years and the way the teachers and Directors love my children makes it such a great environment to learn and grow in.

We are so happy that we found and joined the Goddard school family. Our young toddler was at a competing school and our experiences were less than pleasant. That all changed at Goddard and we now have a happy toddler that loves going to school each morning. The office staff always offers warm welcomes addressing her by name each day. As we walk down the halls various teachers wave and blow her kisses from other rooms. Teachers run out just to give her hugs. This team has truly changed our little girl's view of the world. Each day there is a new story she shares with us, songs on the way home she learned in circle time, and overall happiness. The staff openly communicates every day with parents, and regularly have family activities in which we get to meet other families with children in the same age range. Go check them out. I am sure you will not be disappointed. Our little girl will likely blow you kisses during your tour, so watch out.

My son stayed home his first year and a half with me, and the tough decision of placing him in school was made 100 times easier the second we walked into the Goddard facility. We looked at three other places - two are local to Goddard with high regards in the community, the other was a smaller scale. Goddard blew them all away with EVERY aspect and I can confidently say that after over 5 years I still feel exactly the same. My kids are safe - the moment you walk in you can see the security measures in place - and acknowledged, and as am I as a parent, educated and cared for and on a path to success that is right for them. The follow through and accountability is there through and through. It is important to me that the expectation is set so you know what to expect so you can prepare your child and always be one step ahead... Goddard never fails. The facility is clean and well kept, they are continuously keeping up with the times and take pride in themselves. Communication is amazing - they don't let anything slip through the cracks. The education and experience my children are getting have far surpassed any second guessing I did when first placing them. I have experienced all of the programs from infant-kindergarten and am beyond pleased. HIGHLY recommend the Goddard School in Derry!!!
