Children Of America in Avon is a excellent place for your children to attend . Ms. Rebecca is a awesome teacher and she interacts with children and it is a great learning experience. My daughter loves her and misses her dearly now that she goes to Kindergarten . Hands down five star place !

The childcare center we previously attended only provides care during the school year. We enrolled in COA Avon in May thinking we would just need care here for the summer. Due to the care that was provided, we have decided to make Children of America our home. From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated like family. The staff goes out of their way to make sure my children are loved and taken care of. We are so happy we found our forever family at this center!

We have been going to COA for almost 3 years now. This has been the best daycare my kids have ever gone to. The staff there is wonderful, especially Miss Becca in Pre-K and Mr. Terry in the After School program. Miss Becca was my daughter's Pre-K teacher and currently their bus driver to school. She is so good with the kids and really truly cares about every kid in her class and in the school. It definitely shows when everyday I picked my daughter up, she would not want to leave and had to give her a hug before she left for the day. Mr. Terry is one of my daughter's and son's after school age teacher. They both absolutely love him and he has so much fun with those kids! Both of my kids absolutely love going to COA and every morning asks to get there early so they have more time to play before going to school. Definitely recommend this daycare! Thank you for all that. you do.

Safe, clean and a nice facility. Their accounting department leaves alot to be desired. Charges appeared on my account 45 days after removing our daughter from the facility. We received a phone call threatening to send it to collections without receiving any notice of an outstanding balance which was ultimately caused by their mistake 3 prior. These are just our details for anyone considering this company.

I have had my daughter in COA since she was 6 months old (she is now 3 1/2 years old, geez!). There have been turbulent times internally, which is typical in early childhood education - but the staff and the facilities continue to develop and strive to be better, which I can't be mad at! I've loved every one of the teachers my kid has had, and administration is upfront and transparent. I love the summer programming this year, the extra activities have really been a bright spot in our days as I continue those lessons at home (during space week, we watched YouTube videos on astronauts, planets, star formation, etc). I recommend this school - they provide structure and direction to children and involve the parents utilizing an app called Tadpole that helps me feel connected to my kid every day I am at work. They also provide video feed for a small monthly fee so I can check in throughout the day. Unfortunately, we don't live in Avon so we can't use their before and after school programs once she reaches Kindergarten!

This place has been amazing. As first time parents we were both nervous about navigating daycare options, especially with so many available. We loved COA from the moment we toured- it is bright, colorful, cheery, and extremely clean. We love that they have systems in place to make sure things stay sanitary and the kiddos are well cared for. Every room has cameras if that is helpful to parents. We also LOVE the Tadpole App. We don't have to guess about how our little boy's day is going- we can see right there when he is eating, napping, diaper changes, etc. We also love all of the crafts, music, and sensory projects that are done with him. Our son clearly loves his teachers and we are so comfortable handing him off each day. Theresa, Theresa, Julie, and Ciara are godsends in the Infant rooms. We plan to have more kiddos in the future and they will all go to COA!

My daughter currently has 4 of my grandchildren going to COA Avon location. I do the drop off and pick up everyday . This place is going to down hill rapidly , it used to be so good all the teachers worked together and were polite to each other , the security at the daycare was very great . Currently within the last 2 months or so i have saw this center take a turn for the absolute worst . Staff arguing , talking about each other in front of parents , I've saw multiple people come in the daycare with ringing the bell and not signing into the sign in book , no one checking any type of identification . ( what if they let someone in that isn't authorized to pick up the child ) that would be a tragedy . I've saw multiple employees talking to superiors as if they are better and higher ranked than they are .. and that needs to be put to an end immediately . Another thing that has been brought to my attention by a former teacher there is that everyone has some type of tie to one another so things get "looked" over because of the ties that are within . What I do not understand is how someone could do such a thing everyone should be treated fairly . Teachers are quitting their jobs . The turnover is out of control . One teacher in specific that our kids loved quit his job due to the unfair circumstances and that nothing was being done because of the ties within . I wish something would change . I want the old daycare back that we all loved so much .

COA is an awesome place. Miss Becca was great with my son. She interacts with all of the kids and is an amazing teacher. You can see how much she cares for the kids and loves her job. My son loves her along with Mr. Terry. I was very pleased with how much my son was learning and taking in. COA is highly recommended from me.

My daughter goes to COA Avon since she's 1.5 years old and she's almost 3.5 yo. now. COA Avon has nice and secured facility, multiple play areas for different age groups, and even a splash pad! I like that COA Avon partner with AlwaysCloseBy monitoring system, so I can have a peace of mind at work by checking how she's doing from time to time. Her grandparents can see how their grandkid is doing at school as well. The only area that is not covered by the cameras is the back porch where kids play when it's raining or in extreme heat. Other than that, we love COA Avon ( My daughter can't wait to go to school everyday!)and will continue attend there even though there's 7 other daycares closer to us.

The entire staff makes you feel welcome whether it's a simple "Hello" or "Have a good evening", it is nice to be acknowledged at the door. We've mainly interacted with the infant classroom teachers and they are great. Julie, Britany, and Melissa truly care for my child and keep us up-to-date on everything involving her. This is more than just childcare!

I had a bad experience with this Day Care. After a change in new director its certainly losing its quality. I had a good experience when i enrolled last year. When i rejoined this time i found there was a drastic decrease in quality. Also cleanliness was bad in the day care. Care towards the child was not good.I am very much disappointed with Children of America. I never expected this from them.

The staff at COA Avon is incredibly caring and observant of my child. They go the extra mile and spend a lot of time trying to calm her when she's fussy. I appreciate the patience they show. I did have some issues with billing and the errors were fixed quickly.

Extraordinary is the only word that comes to my mind when I think of Ms.Rileigh, the way she interacts with the kids is honestly nothing less than amazing. She is super friendly, respectful and very honest, don't let me get started on Mr.Terry who is equally as amazing. I would highly recommend Children of America to anyone who loves their kids and wants their kids to be supervised by the best care takers on earth.

Been sending our daughter to this daycare practically since birth and they've been nothing other than a blessing. They take excellent care of their youngest and document thoroughly. The COA staff were so kind and went out of their way to assist with his needs. We really love the video monitoring allowing us to check in throughout the day on him. We absolutely LOVE Children of America! All of the staff are amazing and love our children as much as we would hope for! We have kiddos in the infant room and preschool room and all of the teachers have taught our kids so many things, loved them, and encouraged them. Melissa, Vicki, Julie, Brittany, Emily, Maria, and Mr. Terry are all so amazing to our kids and they love them so much! The center always does special events that our kids love and its a great time to interact with their teachers as well! I highly recommend COA!

Most of the teachers are great but I pulled my children after my baby wasn't fed for a day and my toddler was told that a monster in the closet would get him if he wasn't quiet for nap time. They charged me for no notice last week. It's impossible to communicate with anyone. They say you will receive a call back and never call. All they care about is money....not your kids. Editing - regarding the response to my post. No, you did not waive the fee. I just checked my bank balance and you have not refunded the charge. Also, it's beyond ridiculous that we must communicate via Google reviews. Seriously, just call me back. Thanks.

Our little one has been in Infant A for almost 3 months now. We of course had "first kid" apprehension on putting her in daycare. BUT the teachers here completely dissolved those worries of ours. They really care for kids and are excited to see them grow and develop. Even though we've moved a town over, there's no way we'd consider changing places. It's worth the few minute longer drive!! Our little one has learned so much from these sweet ladies.

My daughter went to Children of America in Avon while she was 3 until she was almost 5. During this time she was in Miss Becca's class. She genuinley enjoyed her time in Miss Becca's class. Miss Becca taught my daughter so much! She came home every day with a new creative activity they had done in class and the classroom was always decorated with the kids' artwork. I do recommend Children of America as a preschool for young children.

Our daughter started here at 6 weeks old and has grown and developed so much over the past year! Every day at drop off and pick up, she is all smiles and clearly loves all her teachers. She (and we) loves the art, reading time, the free play that allows her to explore, and all the tickles and cuddles. It's always hard to say goodbye to your baby for a whole day, but the amazing staff make it a lot easier. We couldn't be happier!

Mr. Ryan and Mr. Lucas do a great job with my child. They are always working well with each child when I walk in. I can tell they truly love each child. Ms. Vicki has my infant and she loves him dearly. She works well with me at determining what best fits my baby’s needs.

We have used multiple different daycare providers in Avon and we have stuck with COA for the last couple years. Over the time that we have been there I have seen a lot of change take place to better the campus. It is of my opinion that you can't get any better care for your loved ones for the price in Avon! They are very warm and welcoming with our children. Our youngest (3) has progressed through the classrooms with no issues. All of the teachers we have interacted with seemed to take a personal interest in our son. I truly believe that they want the best for him. Also COA does multiple free events that our whole family loves! We just spent Friday night there for the summer Bubble Bash. Using a commercial foam machine and the splash pad (located on the campus) we had a BLAST!! Thank you for everything !

When I picked my son up from the daycare he told me that his teacher hit him on his hand and she kicked him on his head. When I talked to the directors they said they talked to the teacher and she said she was just trying to get him to fall asleep. When I asked them to switch my son to a different class because I don’t trust her anymore they said they wouldn’t. They told me if I didn’t want it then I can leave and pay them 2 weeks notice. I felt like it was unfair because they didn’t believe me when I told them my son was getting hurt and they still wanted to keep him with the teacher. when you see a daycare, just because it looks nice and clean it doesn’t mean that the people taking care of your children are.

Children of American in Avon exceeded my expectations. I was highly with Ms. Rileighs room decorations and the way her and Mr. Terry interacted with all of the children. They’re molding the minds of our future. 6 out of 5 stars hands down.
