Nothing great about this day care. As compared to the other Goddard schools, this one is way below par. I'll attribute this low rating to owners and teachers equally. You get a feel that the teachers are not professional and not well trained to engage the toddlers(2+). Pathetic in cleanliness and the toys are pretty outdated and some of them are already broken. The reason for 2 stars?? benefit of the doubt for the other class teachers.

My son loves this school! The curriculum is well rounded and keeps children focused and continuously learning. The school provides a safe and welcoming learning environment and staff is great with communicating with the parents!

Great daycare. Staff and teachers are professional, friendly and courteous. After having a bad experience from another daycare, its been a pleasure to see my daughter become her old self again and to bloom with the caring guidance of her teachers. Its clean, inviting and well organized. My daughter, who is a toddler has shown significant growth since entering this school. Thank you!

The head lady who is on the phone was rude and hung up on me in mid sentence.. I had a question to ask about a review I read and y it was 3 stars and told me I was wrong for asking do not send ur kids here.. bad staff

I am actually not surprised that this school has just 3 stars. I should have checked before I enrolled my son. I love my son's teachers, but gosh the owners!!! They seem to misunderstand everything, in the end they suggested that I pulled my son out of their school. I'm glad I did!

Once moved up to toddler class my son's care decreased tremendously. He came home with marks on his head and face that teachers had no idea how he got them. I witnessed a teacher texting with her back to all the children. Last day my son was there he came home with a poopy diaper and awful diaper rash.

I have been a supporter of this school since 2013 , when my oldest child was enrolled in their day care program at 2 years old. Currently my oldest is in the 1st grade and now my youngest will be graduating this summer from the day care program. I have always been welcomed and encoraged to meet and speak with my children's teachers and faculity if there ever was and issues or conerns. My children love the school and look forawrd to seeing their teachers every day, they express how the teachers make them feel special and appreciated. I also love their security system that makes me feel my children are safe. I highly recommed this daycare/school!!

Absolutely love The Goddard. My daughter went to the center in West Chester, PA and now currently attends the center in Bear, DE. There is nothing but positive things I have to say. First, I am comfortable leaving my daughter while I go to work as I know she is safe, well taken care of. The facility is kept clean and sanitized. Teachers do a wonderful job with the children and are active. Each day the children are learning/ doing something new. I wouldn't put my child in another place. The Goddard is one of the best places around.

My son will be heading to kindergarten next week and while we are excited for this new journey, Goddard School of Bear will surely be missed. For over two years they have provided a safe, friendly, and diverse environment for my little one. I researched and toured several other school and I know that I made the right decision choosing this facility. The owners and staff are kind and professional. They incorporate fun into everything they do! I would recommend over and over!

My daughter has been at the Goddard school of Bear De for a little over a year now and we absolutely love it there! She is now in Kindergarten and was scored as one of the highest in her class! Goddard School has a great curriculum and the teachers are GREAT!!! My son also attends the Goddard School's infant program and the teachers do a great job caring for the baby's!

As a former employee I can say that I would not send my kids back. The chaos and confusion of shuffling children to rooms of which they are not assigned. The teachers are not rewarded for exceptional care or work ethic and are lucky to get a bathroom break. My own daughter was given her nebulizer 1 hour late because nobody would cover me. One time as the only teacher in the classroom at nap with 20 kids I was vommitting severely and could barely watch the kids and they made me stay for 2 hours until after breaks were done. I stayed for the kids because I cared about them and the parents.They shoo off any teacher who is there for the right reasons. Very sad because I fully believe the Goddard school curriculum is great program when owned and directed by the right people. I truly hope this Goddard makes a turn around because the kids deserve it.

I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. We discovered that they failed to give our child's medication for over a week. When we stated that we would not be returning, he told us 2 weeks notice was required. The owner is VERY RUDE! This school is over priced and is less than subpar. WORST SCHOOL EVER!

My child attended this school for 11 months. Through my experience, I believe my review is fair and accurate. The only reason why I stayed so long was because of a specific teacher (who is no longer there) was very skilled and my child's comfortability level (I no longer have to watch him cry when I left). Those two reasons were justified in my mind, although, I should have left a long time ago. I specifically outlined in my introductory tour that I cared about my child's education and safety. Within that 1st year, my child was injured 4 times (one being a huge black eye that no one could properly explain or apologize for) and multiple sicknesses back and forth to the doctor because of their uncleanliness. I still don't think they go through the proper measures to make sure the kids hands and toys are cleaned. The owners Nita and Dharen Patel are beyond rude. The only time they speak to you is when a payment is due or errors with your account. To say they're in child care for money, is an understatement. Be prepared, they don't serve breakfast or lunch - and the AM/PM snacks only consists of cheezits and saltine crackers EVERY DAY, EVERY WEEK. Along with that, you'll have to bring in your own sheet and blanket. I paid using POC Plus and Nita treated me like I was beneath her many times. She said she's considering canceling POC altogether because she doesn't want to deal with it (and I interpret that as dealing with POC parents too). They charge two payments of $100 summer and spring for unexplainable things. The plus I paid was NOT worth it at all and I would never recommend anyone here. The prices that they charge are overpriced. It's like paying Chic-fa-la prices at McDonalds or a 5 Star restaurant for IHOP. I hope you get my analogy. Overall, the teachers are friendly and the one director Jasmine is pleasant. If friendly teachers are your goal -- then this is the place. But I specifically paid for education, safety, and customer service and they failed in all 3 areas. I'm sure I left out ample of examples out of why we left. But I'm not here to bash them, I just want to warn others. We are at a new daycare now that truly cares for the kids and I am so grateful that God got us out of there. Some times I am loyal to a fault. I know that some of you have to learn from personal experiences to believe what I just wrote, but with the plenty of daycares that sincerely care about the safety, well being, and education of your child, why choose this one?
