We have been so happy about our choice to send our two young children to Goddard. The staff helped ease their worries of a new place with warm structure and compassion. My oldest is soaring socially and has made many friends with the help of his teachers, he is also being pushed academically to succeed. My youngest is loving school, his teachers, his friends, and the playground. They have both found their own independence and are growing to be well rounded children with the help of Goddard.

We have recently moved our son into the Goddard school. We are so very happy and excited that we haven chosen the Goddard school for the our son's educational needs. We are thrilled with the curriculum, and enjoy watching our son come home so excited about the new things he has learned. It is never easy trusting others with the care of your child, but this experience has been impeccable. We get constant updates through the day and are welcomed to drop in at any point of the day to see our son. I am at ease knowing my son is with caregivers that are loving and responsible individuals. This school is highly recommended!

When my mother suddenly fell ill, my husband and I found ourselves feverishly looking for a loving, nurturing environment for our then 3 year old, full time. The Goddard School in Orange has been such a blessing. Not only do I feel 100% comfortable leaving our pride and joy with them, she has flourished under the love and guidance of the Goddard staff. As we prepare to transition to Kindergarten this Fall, a part of me is sad to be leaving the Goddard nest but also very excited to see our daughter flourish thanks in large part to the strong foundation she has built up at Goddard. Highly recommend!

Our family has had a wonderful experience at The Goddard School in Orange. From the moment of first contact, I knew we would love it thanks to the warm, inviting tone of the staff member who gave us the general information over the phone. She even went so far as to get to the school extra early one morning to give me a tour. Walking through the halls and classrooms before daylight and well before they were filled with children, I could still feel the joy and warmth of the kids that fill the building each day. The teachers are exceptional at their jobs and our son has blossomed under their guidance. The school day is planned perfectly to maximize learning and fun and they are so creative with the activities in order to make them exciting for the children but keeping them educational. Our son has planted gardens, learned yoga poses, dabbled in mandarin, learned songs about manners, worked on math and writing skills and worked with computers. We love hearing him talk so excitedly about what he has learned and how much fun he has with his friends. The entire staff is open to help parents in any way possible; from taking the time out to discuss how we can continue their "learning is fun" philosophy at home to talking out problems a child may be having at school or home. Their open door policy is refreshing and assuring. With our son entering kindergarten this year, we feel that he is as well-prepared for the academic and social challenges ahead of him as possible. We will miss the staff at the Goddard School, but can honestly say that we expect to stay in touch in some capacity. Our family owes them a lot of thanks and praise for the job they do. I highly recommend this facility to every parent seeking preschool care for their child.

Valuing the importance of play, we were impressed with the Goddard school's philosophy on childhood development. While initially apprehensive to make the transition from a daycare center to a school for our curious, but rather shy, daughter, the teachers at the Goddard School openly addressed our concerns. We were overjoyed to learn that there was little to no transition for our daughter, as she was quickly welcomed by teachers and classmates alike. Whether engaging in dramatic play, reading at centers, or working on a science experiment related to composting, our daughter came home energetic and excited each day to tell us about all of the interesting activities she worked on that day. We observed our reserved daughter blossom into an active and sociable little girl under the guidance of Goddard teachers and the many friendships she has made at the Goddard School. On the academic side of things, she went from mastering her alphabet to putting sounds together and learning to read sentences in sight word books in a very short time frame in her Pre-K classroom. While it is bittersweet to move on to the next level, we are so pleased to know that our daughter has been well-prepared from her time at Goddard. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend their early childhood development program to families.

Not only has our son been supported in a loving and fun environment but he is much farther ahead academically than his sisters were at the same age. More importantly, he loves going to school. I can’t say enough good things about this program and how grateful we are that our son has been a part of it during this critical developmental stage in his life.

As parents that worked split shifts and kept our son at home for more than a year, we were slightly anxious about starting our son in daycare. The Goddard school, their staff, and the directors, could not have made the transition any smoother or more seamless. Our son loves going to school there and sometimes he doesn’t want to leave when it is pickup time. We have noticed a marked increase in his communication and social skills as well as his independence. One of the challenges we faced with selecting a day care provider was finding a provider that was approved by the GSA for military families. The list was very small for our area, but we were extremely fortunate that Miss Sue had registered the Goddard School. The location is very convenient and the program has exceeded our expectations. Miss Sue has also gone above and beyond when coordinating military support, paperwork, and other government requirements to assist our family. She has helped us navigate a consistently changing process and been extremely flexible with keeping our account up to date, while waiting for reimbursement. Our experience has been nothing but positive to this point, and we have referred a fellow military family, who were very disappointed in their previous daycare provider. They have had just as positive results with their son, and were very grateful for the referral.

My entire family just loves Goddard. The staff is warm and welcoming and professional, the curriculum is fun and interesting and structured wonderfully and the facility is clean, clean, clean and secure! We only wish that Goddard went up through the higher grades. We highly recommend Goddard!!!

I know I am leaving my son with trustworthy, helpful, knowledgable, friendly teachers who care for my son and tend to his individual needs. As a teacher myself I know how important it is for children to be exposed to a "school" setting and learning through play before going to kindergarten and The Goddard School offers that. My son is flourishing here! Back in November at his 18 month check up, I was ready to call birth to three services as my son was not talking yet at all. He was only one month in at Goddard and his teachers reassured me to wait and see how he did in school for a few months with this new structure, language rich environment and surrounded by peers. I am so proud of how his language has developed in 7 short months. He amazes us every day wirh new skills at home! He sings to us daily, is constantly labeling things in 3-4 word utterances, is counting to 10, labeling colors and asking about classmates by name. He is showing empathy, problem solving skills and such kindness towards anyone he meets. His teachers are patient, kind and have a wonderful sense of humor - truly appreciating all the diverse personalities their little students offer. I can’t say enough good things about this school - financially, it is the most expensive daycare we’ve ever used (we have an older daughter who did not go here and attended 3 different schools) but we definitely see and believe that “you get what you pay for.” Goddard is a wonderful place for working parents to entrust their children to!

Our older children were well prepared for kindergarten and actually ahead of the curve in terms of reading/writing and math per their elementary school teachers. Our family transitioned to the Goddard School from the New England School of Montessori after finding out that they were unaccredited and not legally allowed to care for children under the ages of three; however they continued to do so. The Goddard school is a breath of fresh air. The staff are absolutely amazing and the administration is on point. They follow the rules and regulations to a tee. If you want safety and a great education for your your children The Goddard School in Orange is the place to be. I would recommend the school to any family looking for a new home for their children. The school will provide the loving, nurturing care that you want for your child along with the goal of learning through play. The transition from our previous school has been flawless.

As a secondary educator, I am a firm believer that early education is vital to a student's future success. After countless hours researching, we chose the Goddard School because it fosters a love of learning by engaging children in meaningful and fun learning experiences. The teachers assess the age appropriate developmental achievements of each child and create an individualized educational program to ensure social, emotional, and cognitive success. By providing me with daily updates and in depth curriculum assessments, I am an active participant in my daughter's development while she is at school. Her teachers have made countless helpful recommendations that have helped guide me to ensure my daughter's continual success. My daughter started at the Goddard School in the Infant I room when she was 7 months old. She is now transitioning into the next room and at 10 months old is already communicating using the sign language that is part of the Goddard curriculum. But most importantly, my daughter is happy. Her teachers are nurturing and love her like she is one of their own. My daughter is encouraged to learn and explore in a safe and caring environment. It is ultimately the positive relationships she has formed with her teachers that is allowing her to flourish both socially and academically. From one educator to another - thank you!

My experience with the Goddard School in Orange has been great. I am so happy my toddler spends his day in such a loving and nurturing environment. Since he was 3 months old, the teachers and staff have kept me informed about my son’s daily activities and progress. They provide you a daily activity sheet which includes memorable moments my son has had. I like seeing what arts and crafts, manners and self-help skills are being taught each day. He really is learning through play. The knowledge and socialization he has gained at such a young age is amazing. Hearing a toddler regularly use his manners is music to my ears. I credit Goddard with how well he is doing. I have also been pleased with the health and safety measures taken at Goddard. The facility is clean and safe. It is reassuring to know that safety precautions are being taken. They also inform you of illness in the classroom and take extra care to sanitize the toys. They also have a hand washing policy that helps minimize germs. I would recommend Goddard to anyone looking for a daycare/preschool setting for their child. Not only have they attended since a very young age but they go full days. As a working mother, it gives me a great sense of relief that I can trust The Goddard School staff with my children so implicitly. While I know that safety is of the utmost important to the team, I am also quite pleased with the curriculum they provide my children. My oldest has been reading books for the last 6 months and my youngest has a very strong vocabulary for her age. While I take learning and development very seriously at home, I know their capabilities are in large part due to the teachers and staff. They provide a wonderful mix of learning and fun and I am truly grateful at how well they take care of my children.

Our family will be forever grateful to the Goddard School in Orange. Our oldest daughter started at Goddard at the age of 2 years 8 months. Her transition to a preschool program was seamless. The faculty and staff take their roles of teacher, caregivers, and second family to heart and it shows. After a short time we quickly realized just how much the Goddard school had to offer our little lady in early childhood education. We could not wait to start our youngest daughter, and did so on her 2nd birthday. The amount of knowledge that our little ladies have learned through play, interaction with their peers, and guidance from faculty and staff alike is priceless. We have made many financial sacrifices to send our daughters to this school, but would never dream of it any other way!
