We joined The Goddard School family this January. I was immediately impressed with the facility, owner and teachers. During our tour, Kellie (owner) and Wendy (the teacher) immediately began engaging with our daughter, Priya. Priya wanted to come back the next day! The school focuses on kids having fun - and Priya naturally learns while playing. We receive a detailed report via email every day with pictures of what Priya did. There's great technology available at the school, but nothing overshadows the love and caring the teachers provide. We feel safe with Priya in a protected environment (gated entry, passcode & hand scan). We highly recommend The Goddard School.

My son was one of the first students at the Goddard School Danbury, he started at just 18 months old. Tomorrow is his first day of Kindergarten at public school and he is ready because of the Goddard School. All of his Kindergarten aptitude tests came back with great scores. The Goddard School in Danbury prepared my son for school. He has grown into a wonderful young boy because of there early childhood program. I appreciate all they have done for our family over the years.

The Goddard School at Danbury is the absolute best day care in this area. Being a person with high standards and expecations, I explored and interviewed several day cares before deciding on Goddard, but truly there was no competition. It was extremely difficult for me to put my one and only child, my baby boy, in day care at 9 weeks old. I never thought I would find a place where I felt comfortable, and where I felt he would be safe, and I wouldnt have to worry myself about how he's doing while I'm at work. Well, I found the place!! Goddard is not a day care facility, its a school. The enviorment is lovinjg, nurturing, child-focused, educational and friendly. I am in love with both of my sons teachers, Courtney and Nancy, who treat him as if he were their own. The owner, Kellie, and the director, Lynn, are amazingly kind, and truly care about each and every child. They even spend time in each classroom, getting to know each child, and creating a team like atmosphere. Everytime I pick my son up he is smiling, playing, exceptionally clean, and his teachers are always smiling at him and teaching him new skills. I have to admit, I am always in a hurry when dropping him off, as I am always running late for work. When Kellie sees me rushing in, she always gets up from her office chair and immediately greets me at the door to help me get Luke settled in, so I can head to work. When we walk in, his teachers always greet us with a smile, and his school friends are already there playing together in a structured and child-focused fashion. We were off for Christmas break, and when we returned and I carried him into his classroom, he had a huge smile on his face. It was obviuos that he missed his teachers and friends and was so happy to be back. Both Courtney and Nancy have familiarized themselves with each babys unique and individualized routine and their wants and needs. They knowLukes likes and dislikes, and how to soothe the baby's that are having a difficult time in their classroom. They make the babys feel safe, nurtured and loved. Every chld in the baby room was asked to submit family pictures, so they can be hung up in their individual cribs. This created such a family like atmosphere in the baby classroom. The classroom is always exceptionally clean (Courtney is obsessed with having everything sparkling clean and germ free) and she and Nancy keep his clothes and belongings tidy and neat, along with the several other children they are caring for in his classroom. I cant begin to express how lucky I feel to have found Goddard in Danbury. Research other day cares in the Danbury area but trust me, you will be back to enroll your child, its that amazing! It's a home away from home for Luke, and for me. thats priceless!!
