Hello I am here to give an honest review. I currently go here, and have been here since kindergarten. I am in grade 9 right now. K-6 were my best years here... Now I am being honest right now... I noticed a lot of the teachers have favorites. Those favorites are the smart kids. Now I don't mean it like I am being jealous or any type of way. but the teachers really do have favorites here. Also I might not be that bright in side, but I tried to try. Most of the good reviews I am seeing here are from the smart kids... But if your kid is not doing very good in school then this isn't the place for him. He/She won't get treated the same as the smart kids. Now I am not saying that your kid can't change here. it is possible. It is just very hard. Some of the teachers are great! Most of my teachers teach but don't do a very good job at it. For an example, (I will not call out any of the teachers here) so I have this one teacher and her teaching, but she just doesn't care at all. like she tries to teach but no one will ever listen. It's like the students take advantage. Everyone will have their phones out and she will still teach the lesson. Every now and then she says something. I do feel bad. I know it isn't really her fault in a way, but that is the type of stuff that goes down. Also, I just want to touch on this topic a little. I am not a fan of the lunch. Lunch is divided into 3 periods... There is A lunch, I noticed that A lunch has all the smart kids. Hmm? That means they get the fresh food and stuff. Then B lunch. I don't really know the kids in B lunch. then there is C lunch.. My lunch. I don't ever eat school lunch anyways I stopped eating it around 7th grade, and I am not a fan of bringing my own lunch.. So I just wait till I get home. But even A lunch, I don't mind that they get the lunch first. I don't care, I just think it is really bad. I never had A lunch so I don't know if they run out of food like C lunch does, and, C lunch doesn't completely run out of food. Say that there is Hamburgers and Hot dogs. When those run out, the lunch lady's give you a six inch sub. I would recommend this school for the younger kids. I am gonna be attending another school here in August 2016. Am I happy that I am leaving pinnacle? Yes! Will I miss Pinnacle? Of course, not... Anyway I am just trying to say is, if you know that your kid struggles in school, DO NOT have them attend here. If you know your kid is golden, yes I would MAYBE consider it for them.

If I could give my school a half star I would. It is summer time and this coming school year (8th) is my last year, thank goodness. This school is terrible. I would never recomened this school for anyone. This used to be a "good"school now it has gone completely terrible. If the school cared about their students education as much as they do about dress code maybe this school would stay open for more than 2 years. The food here is terrible. In 5th grade or maybe before it went downhill. The grilled cheese is terrible. 5th grade we got the cheese made it into a ball and it bounced on the table. Sometimes the food we eat doesn't even look like food. The only thing that is good is the music program,health class, and The 7th and 6th grade LA teachers. The teachers don't care about their students. My class of 2021 has been told by a teacher that she hates us. Teachers here have favorites. The honors classes at our school would be regular classes at any other school. The dress code is completely ridiculous. A 60% is basically considered passing here. And the punishments are ridiculous. students practically can get away with anything. Even the gym classes is just plain, excuse me but, stupid. I warn you the last time listen to this from a student. Do not put your child into this school if you want them to be successful. If any students are reading this in class of 2021 you know this is true. You might know me. I am the only 7th grade flute player and soon to be the only 8th grade flute player. I'm that girl who speaks her mind but is also very quiet. If you made it all the way to my end thank you for listening to the truth, a student who isn't one of the favorites or "smart students" please consider what i say. This school is not the best but it is not the worst by far in this area. I have 2 children that attend this school and have had good and bad experiances with it. I enjoy that my children are learning many languages one of which is sign language which many schools do not offer and is almost forgotten about as a great skill and communication effort. Just as any school there are fights with older kids and there are budget cuts everywhere, but all in all this school has been a good experiance for my children, they also have a wonderful before and after school care center with great staff. The Cubs Den is a much better experiance than the school itself but they are working to make it all around a better place.

This place is so low end and ghetto. If I could I would so pull my step daughter out of this place. But her mother is too fat and lazy and won't. Such a tacky place, this whole neighborhood is the ghetto. This school has a bad grade on the state website too.

I have been attending the pinnacle since kindergarten (I'm in 10th grade now).The teachers and staff are the best, especially at the high school. It is a great school that has decant food. As well as amazing and fun elective classes. It is amazing to be a student at this school, as to have grown and improved along with it.

I have 2 students who have attended The Pinnacle Charter School since kindergarten. I find the respect that the teachers show my children to be amazing. They go above and beyond to help my children. Next year both of my children will be in the high school and I'm looking forward to another year of watching my children grow and learn in such an amazing environment.

This school has many teachers that are dedicated to their job. All the staff are helpful, and most of them are polite, and have proper etiquette when confronting students. The lunches are a bit average, but they have a free or reduced lunch program aimed towards low-income families that are in need. Every year, they host "Fun Fest", which is a school event in where many teachers can set up games in classrooms to entertain students and parents. Yearly TCAP and PARCC testing occurs in early spring, and teachers are very helpful providing advice to their students about eating breakfast and getting enough sleep. The school is worth it for your education, and helps bond teachers with students.

I go to this school and I am not challenged enough, lunches are garbage, and the teachers are very unfair at times. Another thing is dress code, do you really want to look around at 20 stores for a non hoodie navy blue sweater. sometimes I feel I am not learning what I need to.

They are on top of safety. They are so much better than my daughters' neighborhood school! What a relief. My daughter is gifted, and she is challenged more at Pinnacle, compared to the Public school she went to. I think it also depends on what teacher my children get. I'm not so worried about their education here.
