UNA was the perfect place for me! I received a wonderful education and made friendships that will last a lifetime! My professors were wonderful and always had an open door policy and the student organizations I was involved with taught me wonderful leadership skills I will use for the rest of my life. I couldn't imagine going to college anywhere else!

I think the one review that was not a four star was not the Universities fault. Seems like they were the ones that had a bad attitude and are trying to get back at the school. They have been nothing but wonderful and helpful and I have never had an exam with wifi and certainly was not given a zero if anything did not work. I have never seen ANY drug use on campus and all Teachers have always been helpful and even gave extra credit work to help with grades. I'm still going there so I would know. I have not encountered a teacher yet with an "oh well attitude" though I have encountered several students and I believe her bad review was probably one of those! And as far as overpriced, You get what you pay for and they are not overpriced compared to UAH and UAB.

Very very expensive college. Especially if you live on campus. They have bad campus wifi and if you take an exam and wifi glitches you receive an automatic 0 grade and the instructor and committee says theres nothing they can do about it. Extensive drug use on campus and in residential dorms. If you get stuck with a junky for a roommate they'll remove you to another dorm room so the drug abuser can have a private dorm to themselves. Be very careful while choosing instructors. Several don't care if you fail their class. You can try your best and towards the end they will not allow you to try to pull up your grade. Many have an oh well attitude towards students who's best just isn't good enough. So many hidden fees and double check to make sure you aren't being over charged. Also not a good campus in regards to wheelchair accessibility. All in all the campus is clean and beautiful but several offices are hard to find despite the smaller size of the campus. Last but not least majority of the dorms have roaches so beware.

The University of North Alabama is a great school for education. The school tuition is very affordable. UNA helps you become a better person and learning here will definitely build up your social skills. Also their football team is the best iv'e ever seen, better than LSU or Auburn. You should really consider going here.

Overall a good place for your bachelors degree in the state of Alabama. Though, the education department is complete rubbish. They consistently give excuses as to why they can not file any paperwork for many trivial reasons, and they never answer questions in a timely, responsible manner.

Very beautiful. Open grass, staff and people were nice. Mascot came to the fountain of UNA when they heard our cheerleaders were coming for pictures. They were overjoyed to have them there. UNA students came to help voluntarily. I applaud those to came to help calm the kids down and helped with the security and containment of the area with all the people there.

I earned my undergrad and graduate degrees at UNA. It is a wonderful university with a great campus and facilities. It’s big enough to get the “University experience,” but not so large that you become a number and get lost in the crowd. Excellent marching band, music program, education program, and nursing program. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, abd was prepared for my career when I left.
