nest is my design go to. nicole fulton's independent shop is a creative home design oasis where one can find treasure after treasure, as well as, basic building blocks of furniture and home needs. nicole has helped in the design process for me from the tiniest little corner in my bedroom to an overall design for a cottage in door county. nicole has even helped my daughter design her apartments in washington d.c. she is on apartment three and most all of the original furnishings have moved with her. staff are kind and friendly, never pushy, and the design advice i get suits my style and taste and stays away from trend. nest certainly does "make magic happen".

Nicole has the uncanny ability to find the one tile pattern or fabric swatch that will pull the whole project together or be the inspiration for the entire room. Her helpful, practical approach combined with her amazing eye is a hard combination to beat. All staff has been helpful and friendly too- love this store.

Nicole and her team were able to transform our 1980’s house into a modern and beautiful home! Nicole was able to envision a layout we never even considered possible. She opened up our living space while at the same time figured out ways for us to gain storage. She understood how our busy family needed to function and she made the house work for us. The furniture, fabrics, countertops, and flooring selection were the perfect frosting on top of the project. What I probably appreciated most about the experience was how Nicole’s team was able to take the project from A to Z . She was always communicating next steps and guiding us along the process. When we opened up a couple walls, there were a few surprises, her team was right there figuring out solutions. Now when you walk through our front door the home feels like it was always meant to be this way.

We had a terrible experience with Nest Interiors. Nicole picked an age appropriate floor tile for our bathroom. We trusted that the job would be done correctly since we paid a lot of money for her design work and installation. Unfortunately, the tile that she picked did not work in our bathroom due to the walls not being perfectly square. Because Nicole and the General Contractor failed to measure the bathroom before selecting the tile pattern, we now have crooked tile that looks nothing like the pattern we approved with Nicole. I asked Nest Interior to fix the tile. I was given a sack of excuses and a poor resolution that involved removing the crooked tile only to then be filled with grout. This is not a solution. They refused to replace the tile because ultimately they would have lost money. I will never go with this company again and I will never recommend them.

Excellent, practical design! We are very happy with our kitchen remodel 4 years ago- just what we wanted only better. This summer, a new patio (which required solving problems where the deck was taken off the house and screen porch) looks fantastic. Both projects completed in budget. Definitely recommend.

A nice shop with very attractive goods, though at steep prices. Additionally, we took advantage of Drop-in Day with Designers and Nicole was nice and helpful. She answered our questions, though I felt that she was ready to rush us out, and my husband even mentioned the same sentiment to me. Our "free 30 minute design session" was over in 10 minutes and even though I had further questions, due to the feeling that she was done with us, we just decided to leave. It felt very much like they had no interest in assisting with our project beyond the brief consultation and maybe they didn't which is why it ended abruptly and prematurely. A neat idea to offer a free design session, but I left there with no desire to give them my business now or for future projects due to our experience.
