I engaged Tricia and Anna to help with design ideas for our new home after a referral from a friend of a friend. For the first step we agreed to 5 hours of work to pick out furniture. They sent me a word document with images of furniture mostly from Wayfair. No details were included such as prices, measurements, and materials, and the information was not organized by concepts/ideas for each room. I said I wanted modern, leather, and color. They did not meet those requirements. I complained and their response was that they wished they could turn back time and they invested too much time on our media room. If that was the case their biggest issue was wrongly setting expectations for what they could deliver in 5 hours and not sticking to the priorities we provided. I would have liked to continue but I didn't see the value. When we moved on and looked at other designers most seasoned designers had a minimum number of hours to start and were very clear on what they would deliver in that time.

I engaged Tricia with design ideas for our new home after a referral from a friend and a friend of a friend. We agreed to no more than 2 hours of work, invoice was significantly more. Information was delivered via text, which may explain why details were incomplete such as prices did not include labor, and not all materials, necessary were mentioned, quotes delivered by text. we had to ask for additional details. Hard to reach. Invoiced for work not provided. Color suggestions were the colors we mentioned that we disliked. Oddly a pitch to change light bulbs and then purchase the light bulbs from Zemek Design. . Helpful?
