If you have the privilege to work with Cari, take it and rest assured that you will be working with a professional who will always have your back.
Full Disclosure: If I had written this review four months ago we would be sitting at two stars. My wife and I needed a new couch as we prepared for our first child, so we spent more on the couch from Norwalk than all of our other furniture prices combined. We had heard great things about Norwalk and felt comfortable with this.
When the sectional arrived at Signature, the shipping company used by Norwalk had dropped the sectional and destroyed half of it. For the next month Norwalk refused to engage Cari with anything close to resembling good customer service. She fought for us, and fought to make it right. Norwalk refused to give her accurate information about the delay in a replacement sectional, and would not engage with myself or my wife at all.
Then when the new sectional arrived, three of the cushions were one density and three were another. AGAIN Cari came to bat for us and fought for us, with Norwalk putting up a lot of resistance. Apparently in that company there is nothing wrong with customers getting a new couch with different density cushions.
Fast forward to today, January 4, 2019. Cari just stopped by our house to deliver the new, and same density, cushions. She was apologetic, and shared all of the steps she had taken to make things right (though my wife and I knew this already).
At the end of the day, our new sectional IS great, and a high quality piece of furniture. Any low stars I'd give is for Norwalk's customer service, NOT signature design.
To sum up, Cari rocks. It says a lot when the dedication of one employee (Cari) is able to wipe out the entire negative experience with a manufacturer (Norwalk). While we will not buy another Norwalk piece, we would not hesitate to work with Cari again. The peace of mind she gives and the dedication she shows is really refreshing in a world where personal interaction and customer service is being replaced by automated online engagements.
