Oh my gosh.... I'm not sure I can say enough good things about working with Piper Interior Design. Right from the start we had a fun and exciting collaboration on each of my projects. The first - my retail space: Frame Shop/Creative Arts Events Space, I get comments on DAILY about how nice a space it is. Kristen helped to delineate areas inside a big concrete box and create ideas to make the space brighter, cheerier and classier that my contractor then put into motion. ITs GORGEOUS! The second - a Vacation rental home that was gutted and then fully renovated. She helped build a cohesive vision and select colors, patterns, furnishings etc. I have no idea what I would have done without her on these projects and I look forward to being able to have her work with me on my home now. Not only does Kristen have impeccable taste, but the key to what is great about her is multi-faceted in my opinion... 1. She knows how to make things look like you spent a million dollars... knowing when you should spend a little more because the quality is visible and knowing when you can spend a little less because it works just as well. THIS IS SO KEY!!! You want a little DIY mixed in to save some dollars? She's got all the ideas. But don't skimp on the quality woodwork... because it shows. She'll tell you straight. 2. Even when youre stressed to the hilt about timelines and choices, she's calm, cool, collected and will let you know simply... 'No worries... just do this.... its all good'. Problem solved and stressed abated..... ahhhh. I could go on but this is probably ample for a simple review page... Can you tell I'm a fan!? :)

It's not often that someone lives up to the sky-high expectations set by others they've worked with, but it's even less often that someone exceeds them as explosively and consistently as Kristen does! Not only is her eye truly spot on, but she takes the time to learn about a family's or business' expectations, tastes, and preferences for their living or work space and organically develops her design from there to best suit those needs. After working with dozens of designers on various projects, I can attest to what a rare skill that is. Besides checking all of the boxes of being incredibly respectful and mindful of budgets and always being punctual with visits and installs, she is an absolute DELIGHT to work with from start to finish. I find myself looking around the office to see what I could possibly get her eye on next, but she was so thorough the first time through, it's a difficult task! Having worked on both residential and commercial projects with Kristen, I could not recommend Piper ID's services highly enough. Vermont is lucky to have held onto this natural design talent and native treasure!
