easy with a great selection. I replaced my downstairs area with carpet from here. best pricing I've found for install to. I had a flood in my house and my bedroom carpet (from home depot) actually delaminated but my area with their carpet didn't and the carpet with summers had more water into it didn't.

The contractor I hired to finish my basement suggested I visit Summers Interiors for my carpet needs. I'm so glad he did! I had already purchased my carpet from one of the big box stores and I was frustrated about how far out installation was. 4-6 weeks! Summers Interiors not only had a better quality carpet and pad for the same price, but they scheduled my installation just two days later! (It was a small job) Their guys came, worked hard, and left the rooms clean and ready for use! I'd use them again in a heart beat. Nicole was knowledgeable and helped me find just what I needed. We had a great experience with Summers Interiors. Their bid (including installation) came in way under what Lowes and Home Depot could do and Summers offered a much higher quality, low pile carpet as well. We ended up calling in several times and spoke with Leslie and many other reps on the phone. All were very polite and accommodating. They even worked it out so we could get our carpet installed the next day. The installation specialists were very friendly and courteous as well. We are very happy with our experience at Summers Interiors and will be recommending them to our friends and family.

I have really struggled with writing this post. But I need to share my experience. First of all, my salesgirl was darling and patient and helpful. I appreciate all she did. However, I spent a LOT of money at this store, and the final work was frustrating - for several reasons. 1. The hardwood installers didn't initially install the wooden vents. So we called them to do it, and they wanted an additional $50 a vent to add them, when it was their mistake. Summers finally took the bill for it, but it should have never been a discussion that we should have paid for the mistake. 2. The tile installer didn't know what bullnose was - nor did we know we needed to explain to him how to frame things. I still cringe when I look in my poorly tiled showers, especially the framed window. Yikes. 3. My biggest "Oh, no, no no no!" heart sinking moment was when I realized, months later, the price they charged us for tile, carpet, and hardwood floor. They order, by default, 20% more than needed for errors in cutting, etc. I was fine with that, kind of, until I saw the mass of boxes in my basement we wasted money on - AND THEY CHARGE FOR INSTALLING IT! 4. I was also disappointed no one came by to check out the final product. We spent 10s of thousands of dollars at their store, and no one came to walk through and see the finished worked. I chose Summers because I wanted to support the small local store, but I wish I hadn't. It literally cost me thousands. Pictures 1 and 2 are just small examples of the poor tile job. The last picture is to show the beautiful hardwood floor I do love, despite the frustration we had dealing with Summers and the installers.

I am so disappointed in my carpet install---my walls were damaged--they had dents, scrapes, and marks! The install people left a huge mess (wood chips and staples). When I complained about the walls to Summers they said, "oh that happens all the time". I found clumps of staples for a week after the install. They were decently/comparable in price, but the service was poor at the store and the install was a wreck! I will never purchase from them again.

I have used these guys 3 times. Every single time, I've done extensive comparisons for price. The first two times, I wanted nice mid-range carpet for a good price. The carpet I purchased was much better than Home Depot and Lowes and was less of a price. I also price shopped other local carpet places, but didn't get as good of a price. The most recent time, I just wanted the cheapest carpet they had. Got a price for Lowe's $0.60 a foot cheapo carpet to be installed and they racked on the pad price. Wanted to charge me 2x the cost of the carpet for really shoddy carpet. Summers gave me better carpet for the same overall cost. (within $150). Plus they installed it within the week, which was super important for my timeline. I didn't even hear back from Lowes for nearly 2 weeks after they gave me the quote and by then my carpet was installed. I would definitely recommend Summers to anyone who wants to merge quality with price. (And if you want just quality don't buy from Lowes or Home Depot anyway)

Using Summers is a big gamble. Everyone at Summers was SO great and helpful. They gave awesome advice, they were responsive and reasonable, and they were honest and forthcoming. Until something went wrong. Backstory: They basically did all the flooring in my house. Hardwood, carpet, tile, backsplash, you name it. And they really were so nice and helpful throughout the whole process. But WITHIN A WEEK of the tile install, I noticed two problems. First, the installer installed tile that didn't match on my bathroom floor. It's VERY obvious. Second, the tile in the shower surround cracked within a week! Okay, things happen. I can accept that not every job is perfect. So that week I call, and over the phone, they said they would get it taken care of at their cost. I was bummed, but I thought I was in good hands. Here's the upsetting part that should give anyone pause before they consider hiring Summers for anything. After calling and texting nearly every week for 10 months, they STILL haven't done anything about it! I don't think they're TRYING to be dishonest. They either simply do not care about you if you have already written them a check, or they have the worst organizational abilities ever. By this point, I'm guessing it's both.

Over the years since Summers Interiors first started in American Fork, we've had them do three jobs for us. None of them was the standard, run-of-the mill easy jobs either. We are so satisfied with the the employees we have worked with and the carpet and wood floor layers have been excellent. They have done hard really well. Next up is our motorhome!

I have used Blackhurst and their service and prices are poor. I have used Pyne and they are okay. However, when I went with Summers I realized they are far and away superior to all. They price match everything and their service is not matched by any I've used. They are kind and friendly and eager to make the customer happy. Even though my flooring needs were small (a bathroom remodel), they treated me like I was re-doing my whole house. Blackhurst and Pyne barely gave me the time of day when I went to both for bids. I will only use Summers Interior from here on out.

Pricing on the carpet was ok whoever they use as installers were the worst. we’ve had it for a year now and asked them to come multiple times to fix the seams they kept saying they’ll go away with time and they haven’t... price isn’t everything I guess lesson learned you pay for what you get.
