This was such a positive experience dealing with California Closets when I moved to Florida and to Georgia...when I called the company, to redo my closets, first in Florida then in Georgia, the lady who came really knew her business....she asked me what I wanted to have done, and then she made up diagrams, which was amazing...the walk in closet looked unbelievable, after the men came and installed the new cabinets...I am still, after all these years, in awe on how beautiful my closets look...I must say, after I had my closets done in my new home, I decided to have closets put in my garage and in the attic, and had them do my spare room closet too...I just can’t say enough about California Closets, if I move again, they will for sure do my next home...if I could give then 10 stars I certainly would...you won’t be sorry....

Prompt, professional, in and out, done before you know it. Better yet, there's no mess left behind. The designer listens, takes notes and measurements and produces a plan in no time. They can really solve storage problems. If your need changes, you can easily move a shelf without help. I'm giving them 5 stars with the caveat that in 1 closet out of 5 installed 12 years ago, the veneer has begun to peel on the drawers, although you'd have to be using the drawers to notice it . When they came out recently to do 2 more projects (yes they are absolutely that good) I was told that they have a lifetime warranty for the veneer.

We had used California Closets in Illinos and were very pleased. This was another positive experience .We kew the quality of the materials and the workmanship of the installation would be first rate. But what really made a difference this time was the design assistance. Lana interviewed us extensively to learn how we lived in our space. This time we had a pantry, two walk-in closets and three other closets or spaces that needed help to be fully functionally. We had some ideas about what we wanted but Lana presented several alternatives that clearly helped us maximize our space. After a year of use, we are very pleased.

I see all the positive reviews and decided i needed to put in mine. It's been a year and i know i should have written one of these sooner but life has been extremely busy with a new job and working on my stable. So a couple a years ago we moved into our new house. A beautiful place with a huge walk in closet. The closet was however, very basic with its set up. We thought of first just doing it ourselves because we knew it would cost a bit being such a big space. Yet, a few years before that we lived in WA and used California Closets. Loved it!! It was a perfect closet and turned our small condo closet into a huge useful space. Plus we turned our half our coat closet into a pantry. We loved it so much we decided we should go ahead and splurge. So we called them up. The first part was easy, wonderful consultation, tweaked things around to fit our budget yet still get the extras i desired, i had no problem there. After they got our money is when everything went downhill... and i still have pics to prove it. The installation was so shoddy i practically cried when i got home from college and saw it. Basically its shoddy. I could have paid half of what i did and doubt i would have gotten worse at Lowes. I posted pics, please ignore wall color.. it looks poor under the lighting. Are they huge flaws.. no, but this is suppose to be quality closet and it cost a pretty penny. Now i did try to resolve, contacted the woman i consulted with and nothing. So i called a number on the contract. Ended up with someone who no longer was a part of the company but was very nice and connected me with another woman. She connected me with a man who pretty much came out, threw some cheap pieces over the worse gaps and said all better. When i contacted woman again i just got run around and finally they stopped talking to me all together. If i hadn't been so busy with schooling and working i would have done more and still wish i had followed through... so now all i can do is post this and hope to help someone else not go through this headache. I won't say california closets is bad... but the one in Franklin is terrible.

Best experience I've had with a closet company in Nashville, and I've used two of their competitors. From the first call with Kurt, to my meeting with Rebecca, to the install, I've been incredibly impressed. I loved my closets from the other companies, but that was because I didn't have anything to compare them to. The quality of California Closets sets them above the rest - their product is more like furniture than melamine. The guys put in our master, son's closet, laundry room, and two hallway closets in 4 hours and I'm happily putting my things away. I will definitely be using them again! Do yourself a favor and go straight to the best.
