I ordered a Universal Craftsman Dining table ~ Fit: 5 stars, color: 5 stars, catalyzed topcoat: 0 out of 5 stars. This mink finish looked great however the quality of the finish was terrible. Dusting this table with dry microfiber cloth would scratch this finish. Wet cloth soft cotton, scratches this finish. I had to cover it up due to the frailty of the finish and regret purchasing. Simply a waste of money. I ordered a Bradington and Young sofa, within the first year, a seam in the cushion let loose (I'm a 185lb man). I regretfully ordered this due to its supposed durability. This hopefully will be covered by the warranty they offer, I'm sure I will be without it for quite some time. Dovetail dining room chairs~ They look good, this is about it. Definitely not worth more than a Walmart special, Fit and finish: terrible and poorly made. My very first time using them the nail heads where popping off of it and was quite comical. However, I did not know I was purchasing this joke of a chair let alone 6 of them.

My husband and I are a young couple. Our experience in this store is always interesting. We usually get ignored because we are young. But one day we literally had an employee follow us around the store. She tried to not make it obvious as she was always 2 aisles away watching our every move. I’m not sure what she thought our motives were, ha. It’s not like we could pick up a sofa and walk out of the store with it. We had every intention on purchasing a new sofa. But she made us feel so uncomfortable we left. I love the selection of furniture they have. There is a style for everybody. But we won’t go back for fear of that same employee following us.... the entire time.... always two aisles away.

If you have an empty house, this place can fill the entire thing! They have everything you would need from floor coverings to window treatments and yes, furniture. The selection is incredible and the store feels like it goes on for miles they have so much to choose from.

While we’ve had incredible furniture from here for years, our new space is quite small and required expertise in maximizing seating, comfort and modern feel! Montgomery’s gives the most reliable service and durable products and we’re thrilled with this sofa and loveseat.

We are new to the area and beginning to outfit our home with furniture. We really like the furniture at Montgomery's, and the price points seemed reasonable. The service we have received has been very disappointing, however. When we bought our bedroom furniture, they were quite annoyed with my husband when he tried to use a giftcard and a coupon on the same purchase. When he suggested splitting the pieces into separate purchases in order to use both, the woman was extremely angry and huffy. Six months later, when we tried to add a piece to our bedroom set, we were told that the collection had been discontinued, and that they had had a difficult time getting the collection for us when we originally ordered. This was a collection that was displayed on the floor in the store, and we were not informed at the time of purchase that the collection was being discontinued and we would likely not be able to add pieces to it later. This is exactly the service I would expect at Walmart, but when spending money on high-end furniture at Montgomery's, I expected much better. (And even Walmart lets you use a coupon and a gift card on the same purchase). I would love to receive better service in the future and come back to update this review!

Some history: We had just moved to the area and our bank gave us a $1000 gift card to this place. We weren't sure we wanted to use it because taxes on "gifts" like this is horrible. Two months after we moved here we found out we were expecting. I needed a rocking lounge chair so we decided to use the gift card. The service was awesome until they learned we were using the gift card then it seemed their excitement waived. Maybe it was coincidence, but all the sudden phone calls were more important, heck they even abruptly left us for another customer. Even as we were paying for the chair we were left to wait at least 45-60min while they helped another customer. Then when we finally finished the purchase they sent us on our way with very little information on cleaning or upkeep on the chair. (Leather) Well, beside the fact that we could purchase an extremely over priced bottle of leather cleaner. Oh and let us talk about price. As I mentioned above, we had a $1000 gift card. We still had to fork out more than $1000 MORE! Looking at their prices was jaw dropping. I still don't know what possessed us to purchase this chair. Ignorant fools I guess. Especially taking into fact that that the chair isn't really worth $1000. Honestly, since then my husband has needed to replace his chair and it was $300-400 at F______ M____ and it is doing better than my $2000+ chair at the same point in age! The chair aka product: It still functions mechanically but the cushions gave out by the end of the first year. Now I get to enjoy a wood board at my lower back. Oh so comfortable! (Not.) The coloring has long since faded and instead of looking the 2-3yrs old it looks 10yrs old. In my honest opinion, I would not recommend this store to my friends or family. If you are new to the area, don't be suckered in by promotions etc. Do your research and find an actual quality store.

I recently had purchased a fine electric Lazy-Boy recliner from Montgomerys. Unfortunately a couple of pieces failed to work after a few weeks. A repairman came to my house and determined that some parts from the factory had failed. After ordering in the needed parts the delivery people picked up my chair to take it to the store to be repaired. When the recliner was fixed they took the effort to see that the recliner was returned to my house promptly. I cannot say enough good things about the people at Montgomerys, from the contact person to the repairman to the delivery people! Everyone was friendly and professional. I am very pleased with Montgomerys!!
